I am so happy with Banana Moon Day Nursery! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and safe. They are kind, attentive, and truly care about each child. The facilities are clean, bright, and well-organized, with plenty of space for both fun and learning.
What stands out the most
is the amazing staff. They build strong relationships with the children and make sure each child feels comfortable. I also love getting regular updates and photos of my child's day, which helps me feel connected to their experience.
My child loves going to nursery every day and has made great progress in their social skills and independence. If you're looking for a nursery where your child will be well cared for and enjoy learning, I highly recommend Banana Moon. It's a wonderful place for kids!

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Banana Moon Day Nursery! The staff are warm, attentive and genuinely care for each child's well-being. My two sons go to Banana Moon Day Nursery Westhill. I really like the learning program Banana Moon has, I'm thankful to the teachers for their attention to my first son as we are focusing on his speech development and his progress is very impressive.
Food is also good, my boys love everything they've
got there.
Management and teachers are always ready to help and all questions and issues I addressed were solved very quickly. Big thank you.

My twins go to this nursery. They have settled in quickly due to the flexibility of the nursery working around me and my kids and their personalities as well as the kind, caring staff. I work shifts and the nursery works with me to ensure I have the childcare I need and they have dealt with my child's
severe allergies very well. I travel past multiple other nurseries to get to this one as it gives me and my children exactly what we are looking for.

Staff and service have been amazing. Our little one loves it and is always excited when we drop him off.
Love the updates we receive during the day and photos. It is really nice for parents to see what their child is doing and helps put your mind at ease when you see them enjoying themselves.

My daughter started Banana Moon Day Nursery Westhill at 8 months old but even from her settle days, I had confidence she was safe and being looked after by staff that really care about what they do. She has absolutely thrived and I have no doubt much of her development is due to the efforts of the staff.
There is so much engagement with parents and I really appreciate all the small actions they take to involve us. I also absolutely love the app! It often makes my day.

We have been with this nursery for just over a year now. My daughter has moved from the baby through two classes and the staff are just incredible! Always attentive and understanding and looking for ways to help her grow and develop. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Not enough words to describe how excellent Banana Moon Westhill is. My daughter loves going there. I can see that she’s never bored and always busy playing and learning at the same time. Everyone of the staff is so amazing, caring and knowledgeable. They let you know about everything in detail and discuss
various topics regarding my child’s development. The app is the best to keep track of daily routines (sleep, food, nappies etc.) and major developments. Overall, the whole team and their approach to early education is above my expectations.

The team at Banana Moon Westhill are outstanding and very dedicated to their job role.
The staff team who care for my child have a genuine passion for caring for the children that they support.
The app is great for updates and informs me about my child's day which is a great thing to see especially
when I may be having an off day at work I can just log on and see my child having fun.
Nothing is ever too much for the staff team and they are always willing to answer any questions or just be there to talk too.
The nursery management team are fantastic and very supportive and their door is always open if you just need a friendly chat.
I have nothing negative to say about this nursery and 100% recommend it if you are looking for a nursery place for your child.

The daily routine at the nursery is well-structured and provides a perfect balance of learning and play. I am amazed at how much my toddler has grown and developed since starting here. The staff incorporates educational activities into the daily schedule, helping my child learn important skills such
as counting, colours and social interaction.
Communication with the nursery staff has been exceptional. They provide regular updates on my child's progress and are always available to answer any questions or concerns I may have. I feel confident leaving my toddler in their care, knowing that they are in capable hands.

Our children have attended this nursery for the last year and a half and they love attending it twice weekly. We have found that they really make an effort to tailor our children's learning activities to their own personal interests which is a method that we've found to be really successful. During
April my wife and I were called away for work and found the nursery to be very effective in finding different activities for the kids to do all week to keep them engaged and learning. We would highly recommend this nursery.

The team at Banana Moon in Westhill are always a pleasure. Nothing is too much trouble and they keep me fully informed at all times. My daughter is excited to arrive and play with her friends every week and she has a great relationship with the team there. Even the practitioners that aren't based in
her room know her well. Very family oriented and friendly atmosphere and cannot rate them enough.

Banana Moon in Westhill is the best possible place I could send my children. I send my kids there, knowing very well that they will take care of the kids extremely well and they will be very happy! My child feels so comfortable and happy here, he has built some amazing bonds- both with his friends and with the staff within the nursery. You can tell that the staff love and care for all the kids there and that has always put my mind at ease.
The app for the nursery is also great and I adore seeing
all the fun things he has been up to.
They’ve also been really great and accommodating when it comes to potty training and nothing ever seems too much of a bother.
I’m very glad we found Banana Moon and couldn’t ever imagine him going elsewhere- the care, passion and love they have for the kids are incomparable.

Will opened his first Banana Moon at Dyce with a passion to create outstanding quality nurseries serving as a community resource and support network for people in and around Aberdeen and the shire. Will and his family are dedicated to raising the bar in early years provision and strive to support the staff teams, families and most importantly - the children. Will and his wife Cindy are very supportive in helping the nursery meet the ideal of raising the attainment level and making Scotland the best place to raise children.

Hi, my name is Amanda,
I have been working in the Early years since I left school. It is a vocation that I am very passionate about and dedicated to. I opened the Banana Moon at Dyce 5 years ago alongside Will. We have strived to reduce stress, and support and nurture the families and children that attend us. As we have added the Westhill and Bridge of Don sites, I took on the role of Area Manager and spend a great deal of love and passion helping support and guide their teams.


I am supportive and proactive at sourcing and engaging the teams with training to upskill our staff team which benefits the children by having the highest quality of staff available to them. All our staff teams are continuously developing their professional development, working towards qualification and enhancing policies and practices in their settings. I myself am working on my PDA award with just a few months left to complete.
