We have had our son in this nursery for a few years since he was a toddler and the care was always outstanding. The nursery manager is always very helpful as well as room staff. Big shout out to one staff member in particular whose support has been essential to help our son feel at ease. He loves to
go to nursery, meet his friends and do all the different activities each day while constantly learning something new. His social skills improved immensely and he became more independent. The nursery is located in a good place near a park and train station. They put a lot of emphasis on healthy eating habits and cleanliness.

Our daughter joined Monkey Puzzle following Covid and has progressed through all 3 rooms. Each one has provided the perfect balance of nurture and development personally suited to her needs. She positively loves going to nursery and has developed strong bonds with the teachers, they have worked so hard
to ensure she is ready for school and she has thrived in the preschool environment. Our son also attends in the baby room and loves the garden and the sensory play activities, the creativity of games and fun is neverending. A lovely little nursery in a perfect location for commuting parents.

Our son has been coming to pre-school group for the past six months (as we are new to Maidenhead). Finding Monkey Puzzle was a great relief. Amazing teachers who look after little ones with love, they really are trustworthy professionals who are great at entertaining kids. They constantly take them
on walks/trips and have parties. Would really recommend to mums.

I am really happy with this nursery. I had my two children there from very early years (baby room) to pre-school. The areas where I am happier are related to learning and staff. My child was able to learn to write his name on his last year and make basic summations. Regarding the staff, they are great,
very helpful and caring about the children. The only problem is that the staff changes quite regularly unfortunately.

We have been very pleased with Monkey Puzzle preschool class. Our son joined a year ago after moving house. The staff helped him settle in quickly. He enjoys his days and has really improved his independence thanks to the preschool's school-preparation programme. We are really impressed with the preschool
teachers and their attentiveness - highlighting areas to work on with our son. Thanks to their hard work, we feel he is ready to start school.

My little one has attended the nursery from the age of 1. He is now 4 and has always loved going to nursery. The staff really care about the children and it shows. Nursery management are open to suggestions and willing to review their practices if suggested. My son has learnt so much at Monkey Puzzle

The staff at Monkey Puzzle have been absolutely fantastic with our son and really brought out his confidence. He had become a lot more sociable with other children and this has been possible thank you Monkey Puzzle. The weekly updates and photos have been great to see what he gets up to and he can't

My overall experience with Monkey Puzzle has been nothing but excellent. My son is always happy at the nursery and always comes home saying what a good time he has had. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and show that they enjoy caring for the children. The outdoor play area is amazing and my

My name is Prerna and I am the owner and manager of Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery, Maidenhead.


I believe in hard-work, compassion and kindness and I live by these values. I like to talk about psychology and often sway towards thought provoking topics such as the “meaning of life” and making the most of “the present”.


I started my career as an IT Trainer and then worked as a Consultant in the IT industry for over a decade. I enjoyed the fast-paced working environment, taking on multiple IT projects and travelling across Europe for work.


In late 2015, I became a mum of a beautiful daughter, Keira. I wouldn’t say that having a child slowed me down, however, I started enjoying little things in life like when she clapped her hands together for the first time, her first words, or her first steps. Being a workaholic, I went back to work full time only after 4 months, having to leave her in the nursery. Keira spent more time at the nursery than at home with us.


Then Noel, our son, was born in early 2018. Whilst I was pregnant with him, we took a decision to become a franchisee of Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries. I love watching and seeing children grow, observing their ever so imagination and creativity, and seeing how they interpret the world around them. I am looking forward to working in childcare. I feel my skill set from my previous experiences will help to make this nursery a success and I cannot wait to see many more children taking their first steps and learning life skills in preparation for ‘big school’ and beyond
