The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The stunning nursery is over two floors and consistes of 8 rooms; 3 baby rooms, 3 toddler rooms and 2 Pre-School rooms. Each room has been purposely designed and resourced for a particular age group. On the first floor, there are 4 children’s rooms along with a community room and a reflections room.

On the ground floor, in addition to 4 children’s rooms, there is a library. All of the rooms have access to an outdoor space which all have breathtaking views of the countryside, ensuring plenty of space for outdoor exploring. The nursery is set in a beautiful 3-acre site so the children are often found outside discovering new things in nature and the environment.

At Wolverhampton, the nursery have paid thoughtful attention to creating an environment that enables children to develop relationships with the world around them, themselves and each other. They see the adult as not the giver of knowledge, but instead children search out the knowledge through their own investigations.

The Reggio Emilia approach is known for regarding the environment as the third teacher. All rooms have materials that are easily accessible, uncluttered and inviting. Staff work with the indoor and outdoor environment to ensure the space children use is a source of learning opportunity.

The Reggio inspired nursery respects the need for comfort and a place to pause, for both children and adults alike.

Our son has been attending Sandhills for almost 18 months. Throughout this time, we have been extremely happy with the staff in how he has been treated and progressed. The nursery has been very supportive of our needs as parents, and we are thrilled with his development, which is a testament to the
hard work put in by the staff. The Covid-19 pandemic has been challenging for all, and it is hugely appreciative how the nursery has stayed open and approached the 'new normal. The only aspect we have missed is seeing the rooms he has moved into and who is in his class, however, the video the nursery produced to outline each room has helped substantially in this regard.


A measure of a successful nursery is how our child is always happy to go to nursery, is always talking about the staff and comes home happy every day. As a parent, that is all you can ask for.

WOW - this nursery offers the one thing every parent hopes for when leaving their child at a nursery, peace of mind. I feel content in knowing my son is getting the best care possible, he has come on leaps and bounds since being at Sandhills. The staff are passionate and proactive. The management team

With having experienced working in a nursery myself, this is the first one I've come across where the staff really show they care about your kids; they are very friendly and understanding of your feelings.


Having not been able to go inside and drop my child off at 9-months-old because of covid.

I still felt reassured she would be safe and ok because of the staff. My daughter has settled in so well that she really loves going to nursery. She is 1 now and has moved up a room. Without the usual settling in sessions, she still transferred rooms very well.


I don't normally write reviews, but I know how hard it is to leave your child with strangers, and so I feel this is important for other mums and dads to know that I would highly recommend this nursery.


Other than my child and her room. The nursery location is easy to get to and formalities with paperwork, invoices, communication with the office etc. Has always been 100% professional.

A truly outstanding nursery!
My 15-month-old has a wonderful time at Sandhills and is always beaming at the end of the day. It’s so reassuring to me, as a parent, knowing she’s happy.
The staff are kind, caring and encouraging.
There is a great variety of food offered, and my daughter usually eats
everything.
The rooms are well equipped, and there are plenty of activities to entertain my daughter.
I love the app updates so that I can see what she has been getting up to throughout the day.

Our daughter has been at the nursery 4-days a week full time for 7-months and she has developed so much in every aspect. She enjoys attending nursery and participating in all the different messy play, indoor and outdoor activities that she would not do at home and usually excitedly greets her assigned
carer at collection.
Her eating, communication/speech and writing skills have developed significantly over the last 7-months, which we feel is due to her time spent at Sandhills.
The staff are very welcoming, and the app is a fantastic way for parents to keep up to date with their child's development.

I cannot praise Sandhills enough! They are absolutely amazing in everything that they do. My son has been attending Sandhills since September 2020, and from day one, I knew we had made the right choice with sending him here. The daily verbal update at the end of the day along with the daily update on
their app clearly outlines my son’s day and provides me with more than enough information about his day. If you ask the staff anything, it is never any trouble. All the staff are welcoming and approachable and always have time for you and the children. The staff at Sandhills go above and beyond, and I can’t thank them enough for everything that they do! Sandhills Wolverhampton is an excellent nursery!
The staff are amazing and have allayed my concerns during the Covid pandemic. The children are well cared, and hygiene is paramount.
My 2-year-old always comes home happy and full of new ideas. She has developed so much over the months, and I can leave
her confidently at nursery knowing she will be having a fun day ahead.

Fabulous nursery. I was so nervous about sending my little boy just before his first birthday and during a pandemic, however, he has settled in so well. I cannot praise the staff enough, as they are extremely friendly and so accommodating. They really do make it feel like a home away from home. My little

Our children have attended Sandhills Wolverhampton (formally at the other setting) for the last 7-years. Today is the final day at which our twins will be attending as sadly they are starting school in September.
We have nothing but praise for this nursery/company/management/staff. Our children have
never once said they did not want to go, have always gone in happy and come out even happier at the end of each day. They all started attending when only 6-9 months old and have all progressed through the rooms/age groups right up to the final room.
To say we are sad to end this journey is an understatement. The setting/facilities are amazing, the staff are truly brilliant.
We highly recommend using this nursery!

Since my child started here 5 months ago he has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are all lovely and supportive. They always have a smile on their faces and happy to help.
The facilities are always to a high standard. My child always has a smile when entering the nursery and when I arrive to collect
him. He is now full-time and the staff have made the transition very smooth. The meals provided are varied and nutritious. I would highly recommend Sandhills Day Nursery.

Sandhills is a fantastic nursery to send your little ones to. I really do feel like they set the standard for everyone else. Within a week of my daughter attending the nursery I felt she was safe, secure and happy. The girls are all so welcoming and always make you feel valued. All the staff cannot
do enough for you and always greet you with a smile. The nursery facilities are amazing with everything you could wish for your child and more.
