The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The stunning nursery is over two floors and consistes of 8 rooms; 3 baby rooms, 3 toddler rooms and 2 Pre-School rooms. Each room has been purposely designed and resourced for a particular age group. On the first floor, there are 4 children’s rooms along with a community room and a reflections room.

On the ground floor, in addition to 4 children’s rooms, there is a library. All of the rooms have access to an outdoor space which all have breathtaking views of the countryside, ensuring plenty of space for outdoor exploring. The nursery is set in a beautiful 3-acre site so the children are often found outside discovering new things in nature and the environment.

At Wolverhampton, the nursery have paid thoughtful attention to creating an environment that enables children to develop relationships with the world around them, themselves and each other. They see the adult as not the giver of knowledge, but instead children search out the knowledge through their own investigations.

The Reggio Emilia approach is known for regarding the environment as the third teacher. All rooms have materials that are easily accessible, uncluttered and inviting. Staff work with the indoor and outdoor environment to ensure the space children use is a source of learning opportunity.

The Reggio inspired nursery respects the need for comfort and a place to pause, for both children and adults alike.

We have been at Codsall since my little one was seven months old and have grown up through the nursery. The staff treat each child as their own and even the management know the names of every child in the nursery. Its such a refreshing change to have an environment on our doorstep with the facilities
they offer. It's of little wonder that the nursery is rated as outstanding. Only wish we could stay forever and not move on to school. If they have space and you are looking for a home away from home for your little one, there's nowhere better in my opinion.

Our son has been attending Sandhills since he was 11 months old. The care and love that everyone at Sandhills gives unconditionally, gives him a safe and most importantly fun environment each day we have seen him laugh, love and develop since starting there. This is testament to the team of people
that work there and we will continue to trust them with the most precious thing in our lives.

We are extremely happy with the care and education both our children have received whilst at Sandhills. Staff are friendly and will go above and beyond to give the children the best experiences. The outdoor space is fantastic and was one of the main reasons we chose the setting. Our son (3) greatly
enjoys his time spent outdoors while at nursery and our daughter (10 months) enjoys her walks up the lane to see the horses. Overall very happy with the development of both children whilst at Sandhills. A big thumbs up!

A brilliant nursery and my son loves it there. The staff are excellent and have gone above and beyond for my child. Always friendly. Lots of different activities, more than I could ever provide at home. A great little setting, allowing for lots of outdoor play.

Fantastic staff and facilities. My daughter has come on in leaps and bounds since attending Sandhills. It's great to know she is being cared for and being taught by amazing staff and management. They cater for her food allergies so as parents we don't worry. It's just fantastic.

My daughter has attended Sandhills Day Nursery (Codsall) for 3 years leaving last week to start 'big school'. The staff at the nursery are amazing. The level of commitment to each and every child is highly commendable. I have seen my daughter develop both academically and personally during her time,
in particular, her time in preschool.

We have always been very impressed with Sandhills, the staff are caring and professional and have looked after both of our children very well. The outdoor space is excellent, which has always been a huge priority for us and our children.
Sadly the same cannot be said for the indoor facilities. The
building is, in my opinion, no longer fit for purpose. I have lost count of the number of times the roof has leaked - the interior (despite the best efforts of the staff with displays) is looking quite tired and it seems that very little has been spent on improving the fabric of the building during the 7 years that my children have been attending. Sadly this is compounded by the wide range of newer or renovated nurseries opening in the area; Codsall would benefit from some investment in serious renovation if it wishes to compete and do justice to the excellent staff and the care and education they provide.

Our little boy has been attending Sandhills since he was 7 months old! When my husband and I first visited the nursery. we loved it and we were excited about our son attending such a great nursery and we've never had any cause to regret that decision. We chose the nursery because of the friendly feel
and the amazing outdoor classrooms and play areas and our son loves spending time playing and learning outside with his friends.
The staff here are one of the main reasons it's such a great nursery though. They are all lovely, caring and professional. Our son has formed a strong bond with all of his key workers and others in the nursery. They really care for the children too so we have no worries about him when he is there.

I have sent my daughter and son to Sandhills nursery. What made me come to Sandhills and what keeps me there is the staff focus on the child and their well being. Yes they follow the guidelines to check that they are developing in the right direction but at nursery age your main concern is their health
and happiness and this is a focus.
Meals are varied and balanced. There is also a good variety of experienced staff and keen new starters. I feel like my son is going to somewhere familiar, safe and where he can learn but have fun at the same time. The outdoor area is also a big pull, which gets better every year.

Excellent nursery. My son has been at the nursery for 3 years now and I cannot praise the nursery and staff enough. The staff put a lot of time into the children and you can see how much they care about them. The children are given a healthy balanced diet whilst there which was a big positive for me

No doubt, one of the best nursery from our experience.
The location, access, ambience, open fields, timing, playground, feedbacks and so many other good things about this nursery makes it ideal for us. I can confidently recommend it to others.
I have found the staff friendly and cheerful any time
of the day, even if I am the last one to pick up.
The outdoor play area and friendly staff makes this ideal place for our son.

Sandhills Codsall is outstanding. The range of activities that my son completes on a daily basis is amazing. Everything from cling film painting to the self registering system is amazing. The amount of the day spent outside whatever the weather is great (water and hose play in summer and puddle splashing
in winter). The new access process if great. I feel that all the staff know and love my child and play a huge part in his development!

As a 1st time mother, I was very nervous about returning to work and leaving my son, but the staff at Sandhills could not have been kinder or more helpful. My son absolutely loves it at nursery and knowing he is safe, cared for and having so much fun made my return to work so much easier.


All the

staff are fantastic, they really care about your child. The facilities are excellent, I really love all the outside space the children get to enjoy. The eylog system is a great idea, allowing you to see regular updates on your child.


I couldn't recommend Sandhills Day Nursery (Codsall) enough.
