Little Vines Nursery children are nurtured in a welcoming family atmosphere.

The Early Years of a child’s education are crucial to their future development, enjoyment and achievement. Vinehall provide high quality early learning through play in a happy, fun and caring environment. The youngest children are cared for in a vibrant, family environment and participate joyfully in whole school activities and celebrations.

Little Vines Nursery children are accommodated in the purpose-built Pre-Prep School which benefits from a hall for dance, music and gym activities as well as a library and art area. The Nursery opens out on to a large, safe outdoor play area for the youngest children. This area has imaginative and investigation zones as well as a woodland exploratory area with dens and logs for climbing over. Wellington boots and waterproofs are essential!

The nursery works closely with families and has excellent communication links with parents. Throughout the Early Years, the nursery bases the learning and play activities on the children’s existing stage of development and personal interests, providing stimulating experiences for every individual.

I am very satisfied with Vinehall. My child is happy, enjoys every day and is learning more each week. The staff are nurturing and always welcoming to parents and children. The atmosphere of the school is excellent. The class sizes are a particular highlight leading to each child being known and developed.
This is a major draw. Use of the grounds is good my child often tells us where they have been. Management is positive always visitable and welcoming.

My son has settled so happily at Little Vines Nursery. The early days of separation were handled so sensitively and he loves his friends and teachers so much - he can't wait to attend every day!

The teachers and support staff are all absolutely excellent at providing a stimulating learning environment that is safe, secure and exciting for our 26 month old daughter. She has progressed significantly since starting nursery 3 days a week and is now positively approaching all the varied experiences
that Vinehall organise. Our daughter has a milk allergy and yet the catering department ensures that she receives a dairy free lunch to enjoy after all the exhausting activities! Overall I would rate Little Vines Nursery as outstanding and the best possible start to nursery school.

Our daughter has thrived at Little Vines Nursery, Vinehall School. All of the staff do so much to help build a happy and friendly community where everyone knows everyone and they all care for each other and the school. She is always so busy, from nature walks to baking, ballet and gym. The school has
instilled such a love of learning. I would not want my children anywhere else.

We honestly could not be happier with the staff and provisions of Little Vines Nursery. My husband and I often say how great it is to know that our child is in the best possible place, and we have 100% peace of mind that they are in the most caring, nurturing and loving environment. With the most wonderful
staff utilising such a beautiful setting, we really can’t fault it. My daughter genuinely loves attending and speaks so fondly of her caregivers. We are super happy to have found Vinehall for both our children and feel it really is worth every penny. Without a doubt 5 stars all around!

Our son started at Little Vines in April 2022 and he is a different child, having transferred from another nursery. He can't wait to get through the door in the morning and he has already become fond of the staff, referring to them by name. The updates from the nursery via the Teams App are much appreciated
and very detailed, attaching helpful photos. There is good verbal feedback in addition and ideas given as to how you can support the nursery in the learning experiences they are providing. The facilities and general environment couldn't be better and the learning often takes cues from the what the children have expressed an interest in - this week they are looking at constructing an outdoor building yard as the children have all enjoyed using 'real' tool type toys. The food offering is excellent and I've seen photos of my boy eating a very well balanced lunch. I could write about this place for hours - it is simply wonderful and I couldn't be happier for my son.

Our daughter absolutely adores Little Vines Nursery! It is so accommodating in every way, the environment is faultless. The children have so much to explore on a daily basis, not to mention the beautiful outdoor space! The staff are so caring and communicative and have really supported my daughter and

Little Vines Nursery is a wonderful place. The staff are all so kind, caring and nurturing. They really get to know and understand each child, and this creates an environment where children can blossom. I also really appreciate how much the children’s emotional well being is thought about and understood
by the staff, creating a wonderful sense of safety and belonging for the children. The nursery itself is a lovely space with access to an outdoor area, and the children also go on lots of adventures in the wider school grounds. There are always lots of exciting and stimulating activities on offer. Our little girl runs in very happily on nursery days and is very disappointed not to be going in on non-nursery days!

We cannot recommend Little Vines Nursery enough. Both our children have really blossomed in the teacher's expert hands. It is a wonderfully nurturing environment, well resourced and great care is taken to ensure that each child is cared for and taught as an individual. My children have been really happy

Since starting at Little Vines Nursery, our daughter has thrived. She runs in with a smile on her face every morning and often wants to stay behind at the end of the day. The staff have really helped with learning the practical things, brushing teeth, potty training, eating etc. She is out and about
every day learning about nature and getting her hands dirty. We are kept up to date throughout the day. We couldn't ask for anything more in a nursery and can't imagine our daughter anywhere etc.

We sent our son to Little Vines after looking at several other nurseries in the area, it was the clear favourite!
We loved the outdoor approach to play/learning which really suits our son, the teachers are all incredibly caring and nurturing and take the time to understand each child as an individual
and what works for them.
Our son bounces into school every day, it is a very happy environment that I would highly recommend.

Little Vines Nursery, Vinehall School really is in a league of its own compared to other nurseries we visited and have used in the area. After moving our daughter there when she was three, we couldn’t wait for our son to start as soon as he was old enough to! The surroundings and classroom are lovely
environments for the children to learn and develop in and you couldn’t ask for better care from the manager and her team! It is like a home from home. We are extremely pleased we found the nursery and feel very lucky that we have Little Vines Nursery, Vinehall School close enough to us to send our children there. You will not be disappointed!

Our son's nursery life has been so lovely.
He started at 2 years old and loved it immediately. He's now in his final year at kindergarten and has blossomed into a lovely young man who absorbs things like a sponge. The nursery staff are incredible and I wish I could take them with us for every school

The staff and school have been really supportive during these strange times. The setting has worked really well being able to be in bubbles as each room has its own dedicated outside space and different entrances. As always the staff are brilliant, encouraging and proactive. The Little Vines kindergarten is an extremely supportive place for my son. The staff are friendly, very kind, engaging and take time to make sure all the children are involved and happy. I chose the kindergarten because I wanted my son to be exposed to new things and learn new things about the world
around him. (Simply adding a breadth of things for him to do). What Little Vines isn't is a pressured environment; they learn by doing, making and having lots of fun - which suits my son, and I am sure all children aged 3-4. An upshot of this approach is that I am glad to say that his language, understanding of the world and others around him have improved hugely since he has been at Little Vines, something noticed by all those who know him. I would highly recommend the nursery and kindergarten to all parents thinking of sending their child there, its a pretty wonderful place.

A little bit about me:
I have worked within the Early Years sector for over 30 years and believe that every child should have the opportunity to play, learn and have fun. No two days are the same here at Little Vines which always makes the job challenging and keeps me on my toes!


I began my journey training as a Nursery Nurse and have had the opportunity to work in all types of settings, one of which was a Montessori school, where I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge. I am extremely proud to be the Head of Little Vines Nursery and Kindergarten here at Vinehall School and be supported by such nurturing, experienced, passionate and fun Early Years Practitioners.


Interests outside of Nursery:
Spending time with my family, keeping fit and good food.
