Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Stafford is part of an award-winning nursery group and is an Ofsted Good rated nursery (May 2024).

They provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children to discover and learn through play. The team of dedicated staff are selected to ensure all children's daily needs are catered for in a warm and caring environment.

Their ethos and values are reflected in their staff and their practices to develop an exceptional environment for learning so that children will never cease to grow.

The facility has dedicated nursery spaces for different age ranges, including mobile and non-mobile babies. Each room reflects the seven areas of learning as prescribed in the early years foundation stage and is designed to be accessible to every child.

All children participate in weekly sessions of both yoga and Kidslingo. Calm space yoga will introduce the children to stretches, movements, stories, songs, relaxation and sensory play. Kidslingo is dedicated to teaching languages to young children in a fun and interactive way, using songs, dance, Makaton, games and drama to bring the language to life and inspire little learners.

The freshwater tropical aquarium is a key feature for the pre-School and baby rooms which provides a relaxing and calming environment whilst also providing an enhanced learning experience.

An eye health screening service is also provided for all pre-school children by an in-house optometrist.

The staff and management at this nursery are amazing! My son absolutely loves coming here ever since he joined when he was 9 months old. He has formed very good relationships with his peers and staff as well. The team are very supportive and accommodating and my child learns so many new things. I’m
jealous of how well he eats, the food is really nutritious and varied! I am very happy that we chose this nursery, we wouldn’t be without them. They put on lovely events so that you can be involved with the children and see them in their learning setting. The numbers in the rooms are quite low so I don’t feel as though my child is lost in a large number of children, the team are able to provide 1:1 time with him if needed. I would recommend this nursery to anyone. It’s brilliant!

Fabulous nursery! I have a child who attends the nursery now and one who has now left and gone to school. Both of them loved it here. It is always daunting taking your child to nursery, but my mind was put at ease as soon I stepped through the door. My eldest started at this nursery just as it opened,
it was amazing then and has gone from strength to strength. My youngest runs through the door every morning! Think that may have something to do with the outdoor area, which you must have a look at. The staff are welcoming, friendly, professional and extremely supportive. If you are at the stage of looking for childcare, give them a call to have a look round. I would highly recommend Monkey Puzzle.

My son loves coming here. In fact, he loves it so much he convinced us to extend/ add on extra hours.
The staff are always friendly, everyone greets us with a warm welcome.
Were always kept up to date with curricular activities and what food my child has eaten on the app which was a real peace of
mind especially when he 1st began.
I have no doubt my second child will be attending here too when old enough.

I couldn't recommend this nursery enough, the staff are amazing. My son loves his days at nursery, he has come on leaps and bounds since starting here. With my son being born in lockdown I was worried about him not being confident, and being unable to adjust to being away from me, but he loves the staff
and the other children and goes into the nursery without a fuss everytime. I feel I can relax when he is there as I'm confident he is being very well looked after and I am kept up to date throughout the day.

Incredible nursery, my son absolutely loves all the staff. Extremely committed and capable staff, that help to encourage children's learning and independence. I don't think it's possible to recomend this nursery enough, my son loves coming home every day to tell me about what he's been up to throughout
the day, even to the point where he is teaching me French!

Such a wonderful nursery, all the staff are lovely. My son has been going for a year now and it’s amazing to see how much he’s grown into the cheeky boy he is. He looks forward to going and it’s great to see the relationship he has between himself and the staff members.

My little boy started Monkey Puzzle when he was 10 months old, he is now 31 months and thriving.
I love how the nursery keep me updated on his progress throughout the day (which is unlike other nurseries when I speak with my friends of other children).
His development in terms of speech and learning
has come along leaps and bounds. We are so happy and have peace of mind knowing he is safe and happy.
I love how they offer yoga and Spanish lessons to widen my child’s development and special days to include us (such as a Mother's Day afternoon tea).
If I ever have any questions I use the parent app which is great and one of the team come back to me very quickly.
They have also have been very flexible when I have needed to add a day or two, which is important with working full time.
I would recommend this nursery for anyone who wants to see their child develop, like to keep updated and know their child’s well-being comes first.

My daughter loves this nursery. The staff are brilliant and always keep us updated live via their app with what our children have eaten, if they’ve slept and for how long, and if they’ve been to the toilet, with regular image uploads of the activities and learning our children have done that day. Was
quite anxious when starting back at work but I know my daughter is well looked after here. Really would recommend!

Both of my children have been under the care of Monkey Puzzle Stafford and I cannot recommend the place enough. The support and education they provide is second to none, so much so they teach both Yoga and French which is not something you find in other childcare settings. The staff are super lovely
and keep you informed of your child’s progress in person and in the parent's app. All commodities such as nappies, milk, breakfast, lunch and tea are included in the price which is fantastic too

Can't recommend Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery enough! The staff are so lovely and always keep parents up to date with goings-on. They use an app that tells you what your child has eaten that day, about toileting etc and even post pictures on there for you to see what your child has been up to during the
day.
Our 3-year-old daughter has come on absolute leaps and bounds since starting there in September 2021. Her confidence and speech have really improved.
She loves doing the extra activities they offer, whether it be yoga or French lessons. She loves trying new foods there for lunch/dinner too.
End of term we get a progress report to show us what they will be working on with her in the new term and what progress she has made.
The communication between the staff and parents is second to none. They reply very quickly, nothing is too much trouble. They respond quickly to issues to ensure safety of children and staff.
Best decision we ever made choosing Monkey Puzzle for our daughter.

Wonderful staff who always give me lots of details about my little one's day when I come to pick him up. My son is a very fussy eater, but since going to Monkey Puzzle he’s eaten a big variety of foods...even fruit! Which is fantastic. They have an app that I can log on through the day to see what he’s
been getting up to. My son has spent nearly half of his life in lockdown, I was really worried about how he would cope around children and other adults, but he settled in very quickly and he loves going. He’s also learning lots of new things and I’m very confident that he will gain all the tools he needs for when he starts school.

We chose Monkey Puzzle in Stafford for our child after looking at a number of nurseries. We knew that I wanted somewhere with an engaging, fun and enriching environment for our child and we believe we found that with Monkey Puzzle.
The staff are very friendly, professional and approachable, our child
has bonded well with the staff and feels safe and comfortable staying with them.
The nursery uses an app that we think is brilliant for keeping updated on what our child is doing throughout the day. On the app, we are able to see how well our child has eaten, whether they have used the toilet and we are also kept up to date on activities, progress against milestones and news within the nursery.
Our child especially loves the outdoor area where the children have the opportunity to play outside most days.
We love the nursery and would highly recommend it to any prospective parents/guardians looking for an excellent environment for their child.

All the staff are so lovely and welcoming toward my son when he attends nursery.
He also eats amazingly when he's in nursery with a fabulous massive range of foods, I don't think I've ever remembered him having the same meal twice!
The staff work so hard, my son does so many lovely activities!
Plus
it's such a relief for me as an anxious mum to know I can drop him at nursery and he is safe and in a thriving environment.

Our daughter has been a cheeky chimp at Monkey Puzzle nursery for 6 months and we are amazed at how she has progressed!
She used to get upset when we dropped her off and now she cannot wait to get through the door!
She has developed so much, in such little time. She has become very independent and
vocal, along with having great relationships with the staff - their care is second to none and we couldn’t be happier!


We couldn’t have chosen a better nursery for our little girl and couldn’t recommend it enough.

My daughter joined the nursery three months ago and settled in very quickly. The nursery was very supportive and accommodating during the settling in period.


The staff are all very friendly and we are assured that she is in the best hands when she is there.


Day to day she has a lot of fun at

nursery, enjoying lots of painting, water play, playing outside and singing songs. The facilities are really great there, particularly the outdoor garden area.


There is a parent app which allows you to see some real time activity such as what your child has eaten and if they are currently sleeping, as well as updates that staff members post with pictures of what your child is up to.


I’ve been very impressed by how the nursery is led and managed and by the staff members who look after my daughter there.

My child has attended this nursery for the past year and absolutely loves it there. The nursery owner and manager run it excellently. The staff are friendly and approachable giving good feedback daily on my child. And the nursery environment is really nice with a fantastic outdoor space. My daughter

Beautiful nursery, with lovely activities for children alongside and including educational tasks. My daughter has settled in really well and loves the staff and everything she does there.
The meals are great too, a really good variety and they've managed to get my daughter to try some different things
that she now loves.
The staff are all lovely and make the place very welcoming. They did visual screening last month for the older children too, which was a bonus for us.
