King's St Alban's Nursery is a brand-new nursery and pre-school in the heart of Worcester city centre.

The nursery forms an integral part of King's St Alban's Prep School - an established and thriving independent school which is part of the King's foundation.

The nursery offers a warm and welcoming environment for pre-school children aged two to four, with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities within the modern, purpose-built pre-prep site.

Working closely with the early years foundation stage teaching team, the experienced nursery staff stimulate young minds and encourage a love of learning through an exciting programme of free play and teacher-led activities, helping children to thrive while they prepare for their transition to school.

The King's School has an extensive range of indoor and outdoor facilities for nursery children to enjoy, including an exciting forest school, spacious outdoor gardens and learning zones, an early years library, and a stunning purpose-built pre-prep hall.

Whether children enjoy imaginative role-play, exploring outdoors, reading and drawing, or expressing themselves through movement and dance, there really is something for everyone at King's St Alban's.

The King's Toddler group takes place at King's St Alban's every Wednesday during term time from 9:30 am - 10.45 am, for toddlers and their parents or carers.

Run in partnership with Monkeys in Motion each session provides plenty of opportunity for children to play, explore and make new friends. Activities are aimed at ages 1 to 4 but they welcome younger siblings too.

This is a wonderful nursery, with kind and gentle staff that really know the children individually and take genuine joy in their achievements. The team are always supportive and kind of my son, who has been with them more than a year. Communication is excellent; adult ratios are generous; and staff
turnover almost zero, which is so good for the children and speaks volumes about this being a happy place. My son has a fabulous time at nursery and I never have to worry about his care at all.

Our daughter joined St Albans shortly after the New Year having moved from a different setting after we moved home. She was teary to start with but the team made sure she was well taken care of and as such, she settled quickly. The team also put us at ease by sending communication throughout the day
with details of how she was doing.


We love how many different activities the nursery puts on for her which she throughly enjoys.


Thank you to all at St Albans for making us and our daughter feel so welcome!

As a mum, I feel incredibly grateful and relieved that my daughter is cared for, supported, guided, and educated by the wonderful staff at her nursery. She is always happy and excited to go in the morning and just as cheerful when she comes home in the evening, often with lots to share about her day.

We couldn't be happier with King's St Alban's Nursery for our son. He is now in his 4th month and is absolutely thriving! He settled in quickly and clearly feels very comfortable in the purpose-built setting. He's enjoyed making new friends and particularly loves the Music and PE sessions. The staff
are kind, fun and nurturing. The thought that goes into everything they do is impressive. It's also great to see all the staff working as a team, rather than only one key worker knowing your child well. Our son has developed rapidly over the last few months with better behaviour and improved speech and language. He is really happy. This is a credit to the wonderful Nursery Team at King's St Alban's.

From the moment we were interested in our son going to this nursery to this day, we have felt nothing but positivity. He has thrived in the time he has been here and we could not be more pleased. The dedication of the staff should be lauded as the definitive reason on why this is the perfect nursery.
The expert knowledge they have on child development, the small efforts day-to-day they put in all culminate to make this the best experience for our little boy.
They are also highly specific in the feedback, providing constant updates that allow us to get a clear understanding on how he is progressing and in which specific areas i.e. emotional development, motor skills, etc. A truly wonderful place. Thank you!

Wonderful nursery have truly helped my children so much from being very worried and nervous to now thriving and being so confident and happy the staff are exceptional. Drop-off is a pleasure, all the children are smiling and busy. The staff are amazing and always helpful and enjoy the task of nurturing the children. Our little one has developed so well at King's. She is entertained and enjoys the learning experience. The outdoor walks and forest school are legendary.
On pick-up she is positively buzzing and can't wait to tell us about her day. All the children seem to be so happy which is always a good sign. The outdoor play area is great with plenty of activities to keep them occupied. The education program is well documented but delivered in a fun-to-learn manner which seems to engage our granddaughter. She has been at King's for 14 months and has gone from strength to strength in every aspect of her development. I would highly recommend Kings to any parent, you will not be disappointed.

We are so happy with how caring and kind the nursery staff are. When we pick up our daughter she is happy and clearly has excellent and warm relationships with the staff who really understand her and help her thrive. It's a very small setting and has a little garden but the children love heading off
to forest school and for walks along the river and the cathedral. I love the small size and the tight-knit school community and camaraderie of the parents. A very social and happy place.

This is an outstanding nursery, every single aspect of what they do is exceptional. Each morning drop-off is an enjoyable experience with kind and friendly staff who greet you every day with a smile.
The facilities are lovely and except well kept. The nursery is based in a beautiful bright open-plan
room where the children spend most of their day. They have so much variety in the space and lots of fun to be had. I love that they also venture out to other areas of the school able to use the outdoor play area, forest school, large indoor hall and library which adds a nice variety to my son's week at nursery.
The care he has received in his time there has been wonderful, knowing he’s being looked after by such lovely people really does make all the difference.
Highly recommend.

The nursery is very well run and my child really enjoys his three days a week with the friendly staff and interesting activities that all of the children are encouraged to do. The staff are so friendly and very caring.
He is learning so much too and we are very happy with his development.

We are beyond happy that we chose Kings, St Albans for our son's nursery. He really enjoys his time there and has made some really strong relationships with children and teachers. There are lots of activities available, from P.E, walks around the town, swimming and cooking to Forrest school and visits
to the local coffee shop! It has been a pleasure for us as parents sharing our son's early years experiences with King’s! I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
