Sunrise Day Nursery provides high quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years from Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.

The nursery is located on Lancefield Street, a short walk from Queen's Park Station and centrally located between Kilburn Lane, Harrow Road and Fernhead Road.

Sunrise Day Nursery incorporates all seven areas of learning into the early year’s curriculum, ensuring the children have a well prepared, inviting, and stimulating environment. Staff provide a range of activities to cater for children’s individual interests and development needs, working towards the Early Years’ Outcomes – Early Learning Goals, across all areas of the curriculum.

The Nursery Chef prepares all the children’s meals fresh on the premises each day, and the menus have been designed using the latest nutritional software to ensure they are nutritionally balanced, as well as delicious.

The dedicated staff team support children to fulfil their potential through a range of engaging experiences and learning opportunities, which are tailored to each child’s own developmental needs and interests, ensuring they are fully prepared for their next steps in education.

We are very happy with our toddler's sessions at Sunrise Nursery. His social and communicative skills have improved a lot. He also learned to be independent, especially with food. He looks very happy both at drop off and pick up. He loves activities they do like baby gymnastics, dancing, and park walks.
The personnel is very friendly and kind. It's also very caring with our child. We never had issues like nappy rash etc.
One thing that could add to the nursery's overall picture is probably the introduction of an app from where we could receive updates on our child's daily tasks and overall progress. At the moment we receive a daily summary in a paper.

We couldn't ask for more from Sunrise. The staff are wonderful, so dedicated and nurturing. Our daughter has been at Sunrise for almost two years now, joining first in the baby room. She enjoys going there on a daily basis, seeing her friends and all the teachers. We are recommending the nursery.

I am very happy with our experience at Sunrise Day Nursery so far. My son started in early August and has a lovely time each time he goes, even though the first month was a bit difficult (as expected). The staff is absolutely wonderful. The lovely cook even caters for our son who eats Halal and it's
close to home.

We love Sunrise. Our eldest daughter has now left, and we've moved much further away but rather than move our youngest daughter to the nursery at the end of our street we continue to commute to Sunrise!
The staff are wonderful, loving and kind. The managers know every child well and always have up-to-date
stories to share. Our daughters love to attend and our eldest enjoys coming back to pick up her sister (but mostly to talk to her teachers!).

Everything that I was looking for in a nursery I found at Sunrise.
My daughter was previously going to a different nursery and now I've seen a positive change in her attitude.
The staff are nurturing and friendly.
The nursery has its own chef.
There are many different activities for the children.
The
nursery has outside space which isn't easy to find in central London and also they have a Forest School.
I would recommend Sunrise to any other parent.

We are really happy with the staff, surroundings & general care at Sunrise. Our son always goes in with a smile on his face & is happy on his way home, telling stories about his day.
The children all get to spend a decent amount of time outside, which is great & we love the fact that they sometimes
even have breakfast outside in the summer.

Both of my kids go to this nursery. My son joined a little over a year ago and my daughter just joined recently.
I find it exceptional. They learn so much and the teachers are so caring and professional!
There are classes every day such as cooking class and yoga - my son adores those activities and
goes to nursery with a big smile.
I can't recommend this nursery enough.

Our daughter has been in Sunrise since she was 11 months old. She is now 4 and still absolutely loves it - the staff are caring, kind, fun and it's clear how much they know and focus on each child, their personalities and development. She has learned so much here from the various activities, and the
environment clearly fosters independence, good manners, social skills, humour and confidence. We're so grateful to the team at Sunrise and all of their hard work.

We love Sunrise! Our son has been with them since he was 2.5 years old and our daughter since she was 9 months old. Their days are packed with great activities, forest school, cooking, yoga, arts and crafts, sensory play etc. They get a lot of outdoor play, including forest school in a nearby park twice
a week for the oldest. Their indoor set-up is well thought out, including a separate nap room. But before all the teams are amazing. The team is very stable and displays genuine care, affection for the children and passion for their work.

We have been a part of the Sunrise family for 5 years with all three of our children, now aged 3, 6 and 8, and thrilled with our experience. The staff are caring, professional and fun, and thoughtfully develop customised play and learning paths for each child. We love the combination of forest school
and Montessori education, alongside the early years curriculum. Every milestone at the nursery is meticulously recorded in learning journals, plus detailed daily feedback, a weekly newsletter, and more formalised progress reports. We feel so fortunate to have found Sunrise and benefitted from the dedicated and nurturing team, led brilliantly by two members of staff in particular. In addition to the wonderful community and education of Sunrise, the opening hours (full year, 8 am-6 pm) and delicious meals are incredible support to working parents and enable us to continue our careers knowing the kids are happy and well cared for.

My daughter has been at Sunrise since she was a pre-toddler (almost 2 years ago now) and our experience has been nothing but excellent. The staff have all been warm, welcoming and professional since day one and the days are filled with plenty of activities, learning and outside play. My daughter absolutely
loves going to nursery and we are sad she will be leaving it to start reception in September. I would recommend this nursery to anyone with my eyes closed!

Both of our kids go to Sunrise and they couldn't be happier there. It is such a lovely nursery with the most amazing staff who clearly enjoy their work and offer the best care, love and joy to our kids. Their days are full of play and learning and they have so many varied activities that keep them busy
and engaged. They always come home with lots of stories to tell about everything they've done and learned. We couldn't have asked for a more nurturing second home for our kids!

As parents of two children, aged 8 and 4, who attended Sunrise Day Nursery, we wanted to share our positive experience.
From the beginning, we were impressed by the warm and nurturing environment. You can see the staff genuinely care for each child's development and well-being and have created a safe
and stimulating atmosphere.
The forest school approach has been particularly beneficial, fostering a love for outdoor exploration and learning. The nursery has a great outdoor space and is close to a community park with a rewilding area.
The kids enjoyed their meals which were interesting and diverse, we often played the thumbs up or down game based on the food they'd had during the day and we rarely got thumbs down!
Sunrise has been a wonderful place for our children to grow and get ready for school, we'll miss being part of the community.

Sunrise team led by a brilliant manager and her deputy are incredible and like a second family to us.
My son goes there now and my daughter went there from the age of 10 months and enjoyed every minute of her four years at Sunrise.
All the teachers at the nursery know the kids very well, they know
their friends, families, likes and dislikes, and they give great advice on potty training and other topics. They are also very open to feedback and invest a lot of energy in continual improvements.
It is pretty amazing how much love and nurture the kids get there, my kids always admired their teachers at sunrise. This clearly has a direct effect on their development - my daughter learned how to write her name at the age of 2.5. The kids get very excited about the things they learn there and feel very proud of their achievements.
The food is freshly made and the menu is very healthy and tasty.
The activities are fun especially all things forest school related.
I highly recommend it!

Such a wonderful nursery. Both my children love Sunrise, and we love it too. The staff are happy and energetic, and the care and developmental support they give the children is exceptional. The children learn so much every day and mine love being able to spend lots of time outside and at the forest

We love Sunrise! Our son is there at the moment and our older two used to go there. The staff are amazing, very kind, thoughtful and fun. The manager is extremely organised and professional. The setting doesn’t look like much from the outside but once you’re inside there’s lots of space including an
art room, a little library and a garden. I would (and have) recommended it to everyone.

Sunrise is a superb nursery, with diligent, kind and loving carers who allow the children to flourish and nurture their curiosity
All three of our children have been through Sunrise and they all loved it. Our youngest is still there and comes back each day with paintings and lovely gifts.

We have had 2 children at Sunrise. Our youngest is only a few months away from leaving, so been with them for nearly 5 years all told.
If there is a better nursery anywhere in London I would be massively surprised. Both of our kids have been extremely happy there.
The staff are caring, kind, supportive,
friendly and most importantly experienced. It’s pretty much the same lineup as when we first joined in 2019.
The manager is a superstar and whatever she is doing to keep such a wonderful staff is clearly working.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Sunrise Nursery.
