Kindred Salisbury nursery is a warm and welcoming environment where the staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in. By creating days filled with unique moments and opportunities, Kindred are able to truly enrich a child’s development during 0-5 years.

Not only that but Kindred also personally understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful relationships with every parent. Parents will never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of every child’s developmental and learning moments.

Kindred Salisbury is an Ofsted Good (May 2022) rated nursery located within the beautiful grounds of Leehurst Swan Independent Day School in Salisbury. The nursery offers exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years. It is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm (with session times to suit your needs).

The nursery is in a beautifully converted, open-plan building, with an impressive large outdoor space and Forest School.

The team are passionate about loose parts play and follow a Reggio-inspired approach to learning and development.

My daughter started at kindred just after her second birthday and does 2 sessions a week and with the amazing staff she has settled in well and loves playing with her friends and doing dance and many other activities. I highly recommend Kindred at Salisbury the staff are amazing and go above and beyond
for the children and parents. Always have the time to chat to you and always interested in what interests my daughter outside of nursery so they can try and bring it into nursery to make her experience even more personal and Ive never had that with previous nurseries that my son went to 8 years ago. She loved bringing her big brother to the open day play and showed him everything that she does when he's at school.

Great nursery, wonderful staff. My daughter loves going into nursery every day. She has learnt and developed so much since joining this nursery. I would also like to add the food is very nutritious and a variety of food available for the children. My daughter enjoys the crafts and motor skill activities
along with dancing sessions they have every week. Fantastic team and environment.

Kindred is an excellent place for kids to grow and learn. The staff are easily approachable and hardworking. Has lots of activities for the kids and even their parents. My daughter always looked forward to going to the nursery. And in her own words, she will say "I love all my teachers. They are very
kind." These phrases from my little girl gave me a lot of inner satisfaction as I felt my daughter was happy and in a safe place.

Our daughter has attended Kindred Salisbury since March 2021 and our son is due to start in June. We cannot rate the setting highly enough.
Our daughter goes in happy and comes out beaming, wanting to tell us all about her day. The staff turnover is very low, something that was very important to us
and we are kept well updated with what she’s up to. We particularly enjoy the “focus week” work, where we can share her interests at home and see this transfer into the setting. Highly recommend Kindred Salisbury to anyone enquiring.

I am so thankful for Kindred Salisbury. My girl cannot wait to go and learn and play with her friends.
The staff are caring and treat our girl with love and respect. They come up with the most creative and fun activities so the children can learn. They keep us informed throughout the day, which gives
us full confidence that our girl is doing fine, and when we collect her, her key worker gives us a full review of the day.
The management replies to our enquiries quickly. Also, they are thoughtful of doing activities with parents for Christmas and recently for Mother's Day.

I have my second child attending the nursery and they both love it. The staff are so caring and kind. The outside area is big and has challenging and interesting play areas. I love how at the end of the session the staff tells me a little about my child's day, it shows how they really did pay attention
to them individually. It is also very easy and fast to reach the nursery through the app.

Both my children have been going to Kindred Salisbury. It's a nursery with a great ethos and a safe and lovely place. They have numerous activities for children every day, two outdoor play areas. My daughter (now at school) still remembers how staff at the nursery asked them to bring in their swimsuits
as they got the paddling pools out when it was very hot in the summer. The children absolutely loved it! Staff always go with the weather and plan accordingly.
They have separated indoor areas for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, so each age group can get the most out of their time at the nursery.

Our son has been going to Kindred Salisbury Day Nursery and Pre-School for almost two years now and we feel it has been a great choice for him. The staff are fantastic and his confidence has grown and grown. He loves attending and his baby sister has just started and he enjoys spending time with her
before she goes into Curiosity Crescent. Our daughter has settled in so well and we are really pleased with how she’s done. It makes going back to work a lot easier knowing they are both in safe hands.
Staff are always happy to answer questions about anything and management are quick at responding to any messages or helping to get kids in for extra days during the holidays.
On another note, Kindred has been so transparent and helpful with regard to the new funding hours for 2-year-olds. It’s been so easy navigating this and we feel fortunate that Kindred are able to participate in this scheme.
Thank you to all the staff who work with our kids! They love attending so much.

My boys both love their time at nursery so much. My eldest has been there for nearly three years and I didn’t hesitate to put my next son there when he was old enough. All of the nursery staff go above and beyond to give every care to everyone in their care and they are all so knowledgeable about how
the boys have spent their time whilst at nursery. Communication is great and I feel confident leaving my boys there every morning knowing they will be looked after extremely well.

Both our children have attended and thrived here. Our youngest in particular was very shy when they started and the staff have been so warm and really helped their confidence grow. Love the recent change in food provider, a great range of healthy lunches. Lots of arts and crafts and a good rate of learning.

We have two children at the nursery currently, who are both extremely happy, as are we as parents! The diversity of activities throughout the week is extensive and relevant to each age group. The staff are just brilliant. They are all kind, enthusiastic and engaging, and know each child really well.
From a parent's perspective, the communication and admin is excellent which makes our lives much easier! Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Our son really enjoys going to nursery. The staff are warm and welcoming and his day is full of fun and games. He has a lot to tell us about what he's been up to. Kindred offer a safe and caring environment, where the children are encouraged to play and learn. Our little boy loves the staff and comes home every day, full of excitement and stories of the fun he has had. We love that he is encouraged to interact with a wide range of games and toys and be creative
with paints, textures and colours. The children spend lots of time outside, learning to play with others and being imaginative. We are very happy that we made the decision to send our son here.

My two children have recently joined this setting and settled very quickly. It is nurturing and provides lots of opportunities for development. My daughter loves the weekly ballet lesson! The staff are wonderful and the office team are great at communication too. Highly recommend.

Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery! Every day we get great feedback on her day and loads of photos of all the fun activities! The staff are all kind, warm and friendly and know her so well. She's made some lovely little pals and plays outside lots, which she loves! The staff have always
been great about her allergies, and we feel safe and happy knowing she is well looked after every day.

My son goes there every day and loves the staff and kids. Could not expect more from those ladies!! Was a bit nervous at the beginning but he loves people and he already has lots of friends. Staff always helping and trying their best, would recommend to everyone.

We love Kindred Salisbury. The staff are so caring, upbeat and friendly. They have/are looking after both our girls brilliantly and we're very grateful to them all. They both really enjoy going there and have a lot of fun!
