The Cobham nursery has been fully refurbished to a very high quality specification. The building is fully air-conditioned throughout and has CCTV in all rooms. There is a garden area and a fantastic range of toys and equipment for the children to play with and learn from. There is also a separate sleep room for babies.

The staff team are carefully selected, trained and inducted so that they can deliver the high standards of care and education that Perfect Start expect.

In order to maximise each learning opportunity for the children, the nursery use 'in the moment' planning, which enables the staff team to develop each individual 'teaching moment' that occurs during the day, without the burden of additional paperwork to complete. This results in a tailored learning programme for each child that is adaptable, full child-centred and leads to maximum individual development for the children.

The Company Directors have worked with over 100 day nurseries previously, including as Practitioners in the nursery rooms. This invaluable experience has been ploughed into Perfect Start to ensure that each of the nurseries have all the tools that they need to embrace the company ethos of the Children being at the heart of every decision that is made.

Every child has their own bespoke settling-in programme and individual care plan written for them before they undertake their first visit to the nursery. Parents are then able to watch their child settle in on the CCTV cameras in the parent room.

We couldn’t be more pleased with how our little boy has settled into Perfect Start Cobham. It’s a beautiful new nursery with stunning facilities that just make me want to stay and play for the day! The nursery has such friendly staff who really take time and really care about the development of their
children. As parents settling children into nursery is scary especially during Covid but the staff have made the whole thing as stress-free as possible for both us parents and the children. We are kept updated daily on the activities with photos - and I couldn’t be happier with the fact I picked for our little boy to start at Perfect Start.

It’s a huge step in any mother and baby’s life putting your baby into a nursery away from the love, care and attention that only a mother can provide, so it was not without much scrutiny that I made the decision to send my little one to Perfect Start in Cobham. They’ve been wonderful from the very start,
guiding me through their offering which has long been in the making and aims to anticipate and overcome all potential negatives that you could get with other nurseries. The induction was as long as we needed, to ensure it was right for both of us and the ease of accommodation of breast milk and weaning my little one onto healthy freshly-made-on-site solids brought peace of mind. The setting is stunning with amazing toys and lovely experiences that I could never offer him at home. What’s more, the exposure to other children especially during these difficult times is making my little one into a very social little guy. Most importantly the staff give him such love and affection; he’s very spoilt!

Our two older children went to nursery where we used to live and we loved that nursery. So it was an extremely difficult decision to send our third child to another nursery. However, from the very start, we have never regretted that decision. The nursery and its staff have been excellent and our child
is extremely happy - and so are we. Thank you.
