I cannot recommend Rainbow Corner Windlesham highly enough. The manager, owner and the rest of their team are absolutely incredible with the children. The surrounding fields, woodland and especially their Forest School are such a bonus which you don't get in many nurseries. My daughter is positively
thriving from learning outdoors and indoors through their interactive and nurturing approach. She skips in and out every day excited to spend time there and tells me the most wonderful stories about her day and what she has learned.

My daughter has attended Rainbow Corner for over 10 months, she is 2.5 and during her time there I have watched her grown from a toddler into a very confident and self-sufficient little girl. I put a large part of this amazing transition down to the incredibly dedicated and intuitive staff surrounding
her. When I say goodbye at morning drop off my daughter barely looks back, she’s far more interested in seeing which of her many friends has arrived and where the toy animals that she dearly loves to play with are. She is always so happy to see the staff when they open the door and is full of the day's excitement and activities on the journey home after pick up. She loves the forest school and I love to view all the pictures of her fun activities and listen to all the songs she has learned that week. The care my daughter receives truly is second to none, the staff know her so well and I always find it heartwarming when they share stories of funny things she’s done that day!

Excellent nursery our daughter has loved coming every day and the staff are absolutely amazing and treated our daughter with so much care like she was their own child. The forest school is an extra bonus and the location of the nursery is in a beautiful and wonderful community. Freshly cooked meals
while our daughter was there and easy access to an app to view what she had eaten and photos of how their day was going. She has made excellent friendships and can explore outside areas rain or sunshine. She will greatly miss coming now that she has to start reception.

My little boy started here in June 2021. He was just over a year old and being born during lockdown he had very little experience of mixing in groups. He is doing so well at Rainbow Corner. He has grown in confidence and is coming home with so many new skills.
All of the lovely staff really do care
about him and look after him so well.
I am so pleased that I chose Rainbow Corner!

My daughter is very happy here. She attends full-time and counts the staff among her many friends at the nursery. The staff are excellent and the facilities are great. Being able to do forest school every day is a bonus too.

We are so happy to see how much our son is enjoying his time at Rainbow Corner. Since joining after lockdown, his communication skills have come on leaps and bounds and he’s so comfortable socialising with his new friends. He loves taking part in forest school and enjoys being outside immensely. Dessert
time at lunch is his favourite time of day and he really enjoys being independent and eating with his friends! The staff at the nursery are brilliant and are always communicating well with us. It is a great nursery and I have recommended it to some of my friends.

Our daughter loves Rainbow Corner! Being a father of 4 I know from experience, since all of my children have attended nursery, and I must say Rainbow Corner is by far the best. Our youngest who attends Rainbow Corner absolutely loves it! The staff are incredibly attentive, engaging and thoughtful -
it's clear from my daughter's eagerness and cheerful and happy disposition that Rainbow Corner is where she's really content and in super-safe hands! All the staff are amazing, friendly and polite - nothing's too much. The activities are also great - she particularly loves the Forest School. I often pick up my daughter and she always comes out happy, and her repertoire of songs, nursery rhymes is amazing!
Thank you Rainbow Corner!

Our son started at Rainbow Corner at 8 months and he is now 1-year-old, we have nothing but positive feedback for the nursery. Super organised, friendly and accommodating. Our son always comes home in a happy mood and we can see how nursery has been helping with his development - we love getting regular
updates too. Daily updates online from his keyworker each day (who is brilliant) and more comprehensive ones throughout the year.

I am so happy and proud at how well my son has settled into nursery and his key worker and all other staff have been amazing. I love to see all the fun activities and yummy food they have. My son seems to be really happy at nursery, he always is so excited to go in, and sometimes doesn't want to come
out. All the staff members are lovely and I couldn't put my son in better hands!

My son attends Rainbow Corner Windlesham and has flourished. Their ethos of learning through play and letting the child decide on the activity they want to do and for how long is of great importance to them. I have found this style to be extremely confidence boosting. I now feel that kids have plenty
of time for structure as they get older and start school, this phase is all about confidence and encouragement. The manager and staff are all very friendly, professional and caring and always have time to chat through any questions. There is a great mix of experience within the team that I feel is important. The owner is very much hands-on in the day to day running and passionate about the industry. The Forest School has been a particular highlight of the nursery as they are located on a wonderful community field. The children are encouraged to go out daily with the Forest School leader, who the kids all love. I highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter joined at sixteen months old and absolutely loves her time there. The staff are very approachable, friendly, fun, loving and caring towards the children. The location on the Windlesham FoR and the Forest school initially drew us to the nursery and we really like the amount of time our daughter
spends outside, as well as the diverse indoor activities. The food is fresh, nutritious and varied and the children are encouraged to taste uncommon foods at snack times, we love the variety she is being exposed to. It's great being able to see in real-time via the app, the nappy changes, sleep length, food and drink consumed throughout the day. It’s easy to connect with the staff through the site and we love seeing observations with pictures as it makes us feel connected to what she has been up to. We are really pleased with how settled she is and can’t thank the staff enough for making every day she attends enjoyable. If you are considering this nursery we highly recommend it!

The staff at Rainbow Nursery are so kind and understanding. Our son found it hard being away from home at first, but now he loves going to nursery and is very happy at the end of the day. He takes part in so many different activities indoors and outdoors - it's reassuring to know he's learning and having
fun.

I couldn't recommend Rainbow Corner Windlesham enough. Our son joined at just over 9 months old, and after being initially a bit nervous sending him to the nursery after my maternity leave, Rainbow Corner quashed all of those fears from day 1. Our son has settled so well and is so happy there, he absolutely
loves it. The food and the menus are amazing, he eats like a king! Hearty, healthy and homemade meals and great healthy snacks. The activities are age-appropriate and engaging. Outdoors and indoor space is brilliant with such a variety of things for the children to do daily. The children are also taken on walks, into the amazing woodland on site. Sometimes we get sent home surprises and crafts that are so lovely. Full access to Tapestry app to monitor food, nappies and sleep for every day and photo updates which is amazing to see. We are so happy with Rainbow Corner's support (also during Covid-19 lockdowns), and despite moving home, it's certain we will keep our son at Rainbow Corner!

Current Review Score: 9.4 (9.420)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.4 (9.420) out of 10 for Rainbow Corner Windlesham is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.620 for Rainbow Corner Windlesham is calculated as follows: ( (95 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) + (4 Poors x 2) + (6 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 108 Ratings = 4.62

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.8 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Rainbow Corner Windlesham is based on 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.8

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 36 number of registered child places is 7.2, which has been reached with 8 Positive reviews. Points = 1

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
