Good Manors Day Nursery Queenswood Lodge is located in the market town of Waterlooville. The nursery building previously served as a doctor’s surgery until its refurbishment into a nursery in 2020.

The nursery has three light and open plans rooms, which are carefully designed for the children to become independent learners. There are plenty of natural resources and furniture, inviting children to control their own learning and development. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The large garden has room for exploring, with space to run and explore, as well as areas for the children to discover the world around them.

The setting is lucky to be located opposite the Queens Inclosure woodlands, which allows the children to use this 100-acre woodland for adventures outside of the nursery.

The team liaise with local primary schools to ensure that children are well prepared for the next stage in their education when it is time to progress on to ‘big school’.

We have very recently moved our little boy to Good Manors at Queenswood Lodge and we are already so pleased with how things are going. My son loves going to nursery and we are over the moon with the level of communication from the nursery. They have worked to ensure all of our questions are answered
and have accommodated our requests to meet the team within Covid-19 restrictions, which has been reassuring. We love the app which means we get daily communication and daily photos of our son, we can see he is having a great time. The staff all seem lovely. We are excited to see how our son progresses. Thanks to the team at Good Manors at Queenswood Lodge for making us feel so welcome!

Very happy. A recently opened nursery close to where we live. The manager has a very visible presence and his team have hit the ground running considering when they opened was in the middle of Covid-19. The amount of work they put in building wise over the Christmas period too. Our little boy loves
going in. The staff react to his individual needs and he comes home a very happy boy. With all parents, apprehension around sending your child to nursery is always there when you first send them in. This disappears straight away in the knowledge they are well looked after, fed well, have lots to play with and a have a great outdoor space! Thanks Good Manors at Queenswood Lodge.

We highly recommend this nursery, my daughter started in January and loves it. We have no complaints or faults with the nursery and are very happy we send our daughter there. My daughter started attending Good Manors at Queenswood Lodge in January at nine months old and they have been fantastic with her settling process. She has built really nice bonds with the staff and as she is more than happy to be passed over in the mornings and always comes out smiling. She is a happy
girl, which we are so pleased about due to her lack of experience of being with others, due to the pandemic. The information received from the nursery is amazing, we love going through her daily diary at the end of the day, looking at the pictures of activities she has done and having a record of her food, sleeps and bottles. She is always taking part in so many activities and exploring the many resources they have to offer and we have seen how well she has come on in these few months. I cannot recommend this nursery enough, it is friendly, welcoming, tidy, clean and the resources are incredible.

We moved our one-year-old son from another nursery to Good Manors at Queenswood Lodge in the hope of having a better experience and we have been absolutely thrilled so far! The nursery itself is beautiful but the staff are absolutely what has made it for us, they are warm, welcoming and all have a genuine
interest in caring for our son, who now comes out of each session smiling and laughing! Their communication with us is second to none, and I cannot praise the staff and recommend this nursery enough.

So happy with the way my son has settled into this nursery. His keyworker is amazing so friendly and warm. My son was pretty much a lockdown baby and taken so well to his surroundings and always comes down cuddled into his key worker. The nursery are so informative and helpful. The app is fab keeping
me up to date with his day with nappy changes, what he gets up to and eating and drinking which is fab. I have already recommended it to others and they have signed up. Couldn’t be more grateful for this lovely little nursery. Thanks.

Our little boy is due to start in a few weeks. We had a nursery visit and tour end of January and were so pleased with the layout, quality of toys and equipment, and also the knowledge from staff who we met on the day. Food is made on-site from scratch, the outside area is amazing and they have plans
to improve it further. After spending nearly two years (most of which at home) with my little man this is a big step for both of us! However, I feel so comfortable and assured that Good Manors is the best place for him. We did look at a couple of other nurseries in the area, one of which I have always wanted my children to go to, however, once we visited Good Manors there was no comparison and my mind was very quickly changed. I have two friends that children also go to Good Manors and they are so happy with their choice.

We have been so impressed and happy with Queenswood Lodge from our very first viewing. The setting is beautiful, the facilities are outstanding and the staff are wonderful. Our Son loves going to nursery and has a fantastic time, he seems to be developing brilliantly and his confidence is growing every
day. The garden has been designed to be usable in all weathers and is one of his favourite activities. The staff really knows how to capture his imagination and to use his interests to help him learn. He raves about the food and has made really close friendships. From a parent's perspective communication is always great, we get daily updates on Blossom and it’s so lovely to see what he has been doing. We also get wonderful updates on his development. I can not recommend this nursery enough, I feel genuinely lucky that our family are a part of Good Manors and have no concerns, thanks to their care, that our son will be ready for school in September.

My daughter started at this nursery in January 2021 following a year out from a preschool setting due to the covid pandemic. I was worried that after so long at home she would struggle to settle back into pre-school life - but what can I say... Queenswood Lodge have been absolutely amazing! So welcoming,
warm and supportive, my daughter instantly felt at ease and made strong connections with the staff from day one! She absolutely loves her preschool! A huge thank you!

Hi! Claire and I are the Nursery Managers here at Good Manors Day Nursery Queenswood Lodge. I am also qualified for Level 6.


Having worked in Early Years for 12 years, I have loved every minute of it; from watching babies take their first steps to waving our pre-school children off to school. I am passionate about my job and my team, and I strive to support each child to develop to their fullest potential through a range of fun and exciting activities; while also getting to know their families. Here at Queenswood Lodge, we love the outdoor environment and making use of the local wooded area, taking the children on exploratory walks and picnics, and supporting them in exploring the world around them.
