Under the Willow Nursery is located in the heart of Dulwich Herne Hill, Brixton, in a purpose-built, eco-friendly building.

The nursery follows the teachings of Maria Montessori, a pioneer in early education whose teaching methods promote independence and a love for learning. The Montessori method, along with the EYFS curriculum, allows children at Under the Willow to flourish as individuals and build their social, physical and emotional skills.

Indoor and outdoor play areas provide a wide variety of sensory play equipment designed to boost children's learning and creativity.

The experienced cook provides three meals and two snacks a day, which are made from organic, free-range produce as much as possible.

Wonderful, caring, attentive staff and fantastic facilities, my child has been extremely happy at Under the Willow for the past two years. My child's confidence has grown and he’s excited to go to nursery each day.
I’d highly recommend this nursery.

Warm and caring staff. A commitment to dealing responsibly with allergies. Food cooked on site is basically like home-cooked food. Promotion of independence and a Montessori-lite approach. Light and airy rooms, with outdoor space divided by age range. A link to Forest School locally. Highly recommended.

Lovely middle-class nursery in Dulwich. I sent both my children there. I felt my children were in a safe and nurturing environment. The owner is very caring and understanding. There is also a chef there who makes fresh nutritious meals daily, I highly recommend it.

Both my sons go to Under the Willows (UtW) and they both really enjoy going and my eldest always talks positively about his teachers.
I feel UtW has done a great job putting in all the measures to make the nursery as Covid-19 safe as possible.
I would definitely recommend UtW to friends and family.
