An absolutely amazing childcare facility. My daughter settled in well, is taken care of by an amazing team.
The app they use to communicate with parents is good and very thorough from the daily diary updates to observations about my daughter's development. I have given 4 stars for facilities only because
they don't have outdoor space of their own but the children go out daily and have access to a local garden a few mins walk away, they have a soft play area as an option for when the weather isn't great and they can't take kids out. I am moving out of the area and I am sad that I have to find somewhere new, I don't think I will be able to match galaxy explorers. They are the golden standard of what a nursery should be for children and parents.

Level of care for the children is fantastic. They all have great relationships with the staff members and develop friendships with their peers.
While there is no outdoor play space attached to the building, they do use the local facilities with daily trips to the church garden and woodlands.

My son started at Galaxy Explorers at 11 months and is leaving just before his 4th birthday. I have nothing but praise for the whole team. They are extremely caring and the child receives a very personal treatment from day 1. The children's development is impressive, as they are highly and engagingly
stimulated since early stages. The preschool room is a solid foundation to learn basic phonics and writing. The kids are also encouraged to be independent in day-to-day tasks as well to explore different activities that nurture their curiosity. The food is very balanced and offers variety.
If I had to point out just one negative is the lack of outdoor space, which is common in London nurseries though. However they take them out on walks twice daily plus engage in various activities in the ecological park 5 mins away as well as make use of a gated green area 3 mins away for free play time.
We are so happy with Galaxy Explorers that my second child will start there soon - I truly recommend them!

Our little one has gone through the whole journey with Galaxy Explorers since he was 9 months old. For us, their key features are:
1. Communication: Always on top of keeping parents informed, from a quick call to let me know about a bump in the head to organised events for parents (like Mother's Day
afternoon tea).
2. Potty training: great support and the transition was rather quick.
3. Structured learning and sensory activities: since our little one was a baby, we got to see all the activities that they were involved through the app, encouraging messy playing, exploring, crafts and music.
4. Recorded stats through the app: getting to know how much was the nap and the foods eaten helped us to understand and manage better the routines on weekends and holidays.
5. Experience, passion and drive from the staff members: you can see and feel reassured every day that you are leaving your little one with people who really care, know about baby and toddlers development and first aid.

My son started at Galaxy when he turned 1 year old and has been there 5 days a week since... he is just about to complete his time there as he turns 4 and starts reception in a month... I can say unequivocally that choosing Galaxy was the best decision we made for his growth and development.
There's
a 1000 character limit, which is not enough for me to praise Galaxy the way it deserves... but first and foremost, the staff are amazing. Real, caring relationships developed between my son and his 'key persons' as well as the rest of the carers during his time at Galaxy... they put in the effort to personalize his experience and to create the kinds of play, learning and development that he wanted and needed at an individual level -- and it showed. I can't thank them enough.
If I had to criticise something I would say they don't have their own dedicated outdoor space... but they also go out to the local parks and playgrounds every day -- so it's not really an issue.

Galaxy has been my kids' "second home" for nearly 4 years. A wonderful nursery where you can feel the commitment from the management staff to every single carer (even if its not from the room your kid is in at the moment) they get to know everybody, so you know how important the kids and families are
to them.
Always a kind word and kind ears when you need further support about a development stage.
I would highly recommend the preschool room for the last year before school, as they truly work to develop the children's skills (phonics and so on) while still making it fun.
Best nursery in the area.

My two boys have been at Galaxy Explorers Day Nursery for two years and they enjoyed every day they spent there. The entire team are so professional and caring and their communications were first class. We moved out of the area, which is why we had to leave, and it's going to be very difficult to find
a nursery to match Galaxy. Thank you so much to you all for your kindness to my boys and the great care you took of them.

Our daughter was given outstanding care from when she started at Galaxy Explorers at 2 years of age and she will be leaving soon to start primary school at 4 years of age. Right from the very start, when our daughter was settling in, she was made to feel very secure and happy. The carers are so excellent.
At the open days, we were provided with reports on our daughter's progress for key stages. We could see how fast our daughter was developing skills such as counting and recognising alphabetic characters. In addition to story time at nursery, the nursery provided a book library at the front door which encouraged us to borrow and read books to her at home. I was so pleased when I saw how happy she was as she ran in the door every morning with excitement and happiness. The carers made every festival special with art showing we live in a diverse city, explaining these festivals and different cultures. We are very sad to be saying goodbye to such a wonderful team.

Our little boy leaves Galaxy Explorers next month after two years. He has received excellent care throughout, the staff are very kind and caring. We have a good understanding of what he does each day, what he eats, toilet trips etc via the app, including lots of nice photos. He has had the same key
worker for the majority of his time there. She has encouraged his development and monitored his progress. The room leader in pre-school has the most incredible imagination and she crafts some fantastic activities. They spend lots of time outdoors visiting the church garden, ecological park, the farm and local playgrounds. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

An outstanding nursery. Our daughter has had a wonderful two years at Galaxy Explorers Day Nursery. The carers are passionate about teaching and genuinely care for the children. The children engage in a wide range of activities and the carers provide novel and exciting ways for them to engage in these
activities.
The children are very safe and parents are informed of any incidents, even if very minor.
Daily reports of activities, what was eaten for breakfast and lunch, as well as pictures taken during the day keep parents informed of their child’s day. Open days provide detailed feedback on the child’s progress and the nursery is keen to allow the children to attain key stage goals. These are reported to parents.
Cultures are celebrated with special lunches, events and activities that contribute greatly to the childrens’ understanding of the diverse nature of London’s population.
The management is excellent and very hands on. They obviously are very experienced in running nurseries.

The nursery sets a really high standard. We have to move to a different area and struggle to find anything as good as Galaxy Explorers Day Nursery. They have been excellent over the last two years in terms of care for both of my children, easiness of communication, flexibility, etc. The premises is

Galaxy Explorers has been an excellent nursery for our daughter from seven months to two years.
The staff are caring and friendly and she has bonded with them well. We are sad to be leaving due to moving out of the area and we know she will be sad to leave.
They are very good at getting the children
out and about on a daily basis and we have enjoyed the events where parents are invited in.
Thank you for making our first experience with a nursery so painless and we can only hope our new nursery will live up to the same standards.

We were extremely lucky to have our daughter starting her nursery life at Galaxy Explorers Day Nursery. Both our daughter and us were welcomed by the lovely staff and felt so reassured from day one! The nursery is extremely well looked after, the rooms are amazing, and the food was freshly cooked every
day. Hygiene and safety are also second to none. Our daughter absolutely loved the staff and her activities, the nursery pays a lot of attention to child development but also allow children to learn at own pace. I cannot recommend the nursery highly enough! Thank you for everything you've done and for making our daughter's first learning experience so special!

We could not be more grateful for the excellent care this nursery has always provided while ensuring our son's development in a safe, fun and extremely friendly environment.
He was only a baby when he first visited Galaxy Explorers and he was only capable of crawling and through all his journey (intellectually,
emotionally and physically) he has grown so much and gone through so many different stages thanks to the greatest support from Galaxy Explorers.
With this nursery, my son began to adjust to the world outside of his family while we felt supported as new parents in the middle of a global pandemic.
From the moment he joined Galaxy Explorers, I will never forget how easy the separation has been, as he was always so happy to be there.
Great daily updates about his development and meals, which made us feel included in his day-to-day routine.
Overall, I could not recommend a better nursery!
We feel truly lucky!

We don't live in London anymore but we have very fond memories of Galaxy Explorers. Our son was at that nursery for about a year and he enjoyed it a lot. The teachers are really warm and friendly and the nursery management very helpful.

We felt very fortunate to have had Galaxy Explorers Day Nursery Ltd care for our son. He received the utmost care, excellent support and attention from every staff, carers and teachers. Galaxy also engaged external classes such as the Forest School, Sports Coach and Poppin’ Bunnies which created a safe,
positive and stimulating environment for children. Our son really enjoyed these activities and has developed very well to a happy, confident toddler with notable communication. Both Nursery managers are very personable and helpful who always listen and accommodate parents’ needs. Everyone at Galaxy welcomed constructive feedback from parents positively and worked towards reaching the best resolution for everyone, especially during the pandemic. Galaxy is truly an excellent nursery and we highly recommend it to parents. We feel sad that it is time to say goodbye; we will definitely miss sending our son there and interacting with all of the dedicated staff. Suffice to say, our son misses his time at Galaxy too.

Absolutely wonderful nursery with an exceptionally supportive and friendly team. After the last year (and more) of lockdowns, we weren't sure how well our son would adjust to his first experience of formal childcare and wanted to go gently. But he's absolutely blossomed in their care, getting chattier
and more confident by the day - he's always full of stories when I pick him up, telling me about the walks he's been on with his nursery friends, the games he's played, the puppets he's met. In fact, we increased his hours after he kept persistently asking for 'more nursery'! He's even introduced me to a couple of local parks I hadn't discovered (as the nursery doesn't have its own outside space, I wondered about whether this would be a problem - but they really make the very most of the nearby woodlands and parks). I would unhesitatingly recommend this nursery; we've been so impressed by the whole team's enthusiasm, dedication, and affection for the little ones.

My son started at Galaxy Explorers a few months ago and it felt great to see how he was embraced by all the staff. Little name tags had been made for him, printed placemats with information about his diet and lots of other small touches that made us feel like this place is organised, has good policies
in place and really cares about the individual children. Nothing has made me think otherwise in the months since. The nursery has been reliable during the pandemic which has been invaluable to us. Communication is great, the activities have a developmental angle as well as being fun and most importantly, my son is delighted to go in every day. We feel like we're paying for quality.

Bhavika is a co-owner of Galaxy Explorers. Bhavika has over 17 years’ experience working in childcare. She has worked both in the US as a nursery manager and as a nursery manager in London. Bhavika shows a true passion for the work that she does and this can be verified by the parents as well as the children for whom she has been responsible. She has won numerous awards and prizes in her previous employment including employee of the year across all nursery sites. She has also demonstrated her dedication to her career by achieving Outstanding OFSTED ratings on all the sites where she has worked and managed. Whenever she has a chance, Bhavika enjoys travelling and is also a keen reader.

Trisha is a co-owner of Galaxy Explorers. Unlike the rest of the management team Trisha is new to childcare.
