I had been in the nursery during the settling time for my daughter. She is a covid child who turned three in December 2021, she goes two full days a week here.
The teachers, setting space, activities, food, and hygiene are well maintained.
Following the Montessori curriculum helps kids to be independent
and close to nature.
For anyone who is looking for such space around Coombe Road, this one is a better place.

My son started going there when he was 8 months old and continued to learn there until he turned 4 and moved to his current school. Months after settling down in school he says he likes the manager and wants to go there. This for me is proof of the excellent efforts put in by the manager and her team.


They provided adequate feedback on the daily routine and any suggestion was put into effect immediately. Cleaning and hygiene were given utmost importance. On occasions that my child was unwell immediate care was taken and things were always recorded. Food is cooked in-house at the nursery and it was always very nourishing and satisfying.


I am glad we choose to send my son at LWM, Nikki and her team have been very accommodating and worked with me in every growing stage of my child. My son has only thrived at this nursery and come out as a very happy child.

Let me introduce myself, I am Nikki, Nursery Manager at Learning World Montessori, Croydon. I started my career way back in 2002 after gaining my Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management. Over the years, I have gained a great deal of experience working within the Early Years sector. I also hold an NVQ Level 4 in Montessori Pedagogy and have successfully held my position as Nursery Manager since 2015.


Together, Learning World Montessori and myself have a clear vision for the future in raising the standards for all children. I have high expectations in driving the Montessori ethos forward, ‘Leading the way, shaping the future’ and our dedicated team are embracing the fantastic new journey that lies ahead. Here at Learning World Montessori we have built good relationships with parents and the local community, where our friendly yet professional approach has always achieved success.


I consider that every child is important and unique in their own way and that they should all receive the very best care and education available – providing fun and engaging activities for learning through play. I believe that I have the drive and vision to contribute to making a difference in this wonderful Early Years setting, providing the highest quality care, so children can reach their full potential.
