Both my children attend this nursery. Knowing that they are both well cared for and have plenty of activities planned for them during the day makes it so much easier to drop them off each day for work. All the staff are incredibly friendly and all have the children's interest at heart. My little girl
has been coming here since she was 8 months old and in the baby room. She is now 3 in the preschool room and I have never had any issues. She has come on so well over the past few years and learns so much at nursery. My little boy started when he was 8 months old and is now 18 months old and he is coming on so well in the baby room.

The Little Sparks family are all so friendly and welcoming! They have taken such good care of my little boy over the last few years! It is lovely to see how much his confidence has grown and just how happy he now is to go to nursery each day and this is down to the Little Sparks staff team making him

My daughter has attended Little Sparks for 10 months now and has absolutely thrived in that time. She loves attending nursery, playing with her friends and taking part in activities. Staff are very caring and have a good understanding of her learning and development. The nursery is very good at making
me feel involved in her nursery experience through daily updates, photos, stay and play, parents' evenings and conversations during drop off and pick up time. There are always lots of different activities, outside playtime and occasional trips out of nursery providing a good range of experiences. I am also very happy with the meals she receives at nursery being nutritional and providing choices to help her feel independent.

This nursery is definitely one of the best in Clayton! With a home-from-home feel both my children have settled in so well and made to be part of the Little Sparks family. With different rooms like sensory and library lodge and forest school activities, they have thought of it all. Communication is
fantastic and all staff are likeable, approachable and always on hand to help

Amazing staff. Absolutely great work with my children who are not English and were strong with understanding. But the team started working with him and he is singing and speaking at home and I am so happy for that.

I don’t know where to start; from our very first settling in session it was so clear that my daughter absolutely loved it here. She’s built the most beautiful bonds with the staff in the baby room and it’s made me feel so at ease. We’ve been here a month now, alongside another nursery, and based on
how enormously happy she is at Little Sparks we’ve been lucky enough to increase her days. The staff in the baby room have gone above and beyond not just for my child, but for us as parents too. The structured learning through play and the gentle and caring approach is everything you’d want from people caring for your child. There’s a therapeutic attention and you can feel it in the atmosphere. I cannot recommend this nursery enough to anyone. I have an app that I am updated with very regularly and it’s so nice to see her wanting to go to her workers when she’s dropped off.

My little boy has attended little sparks from being 11 months old (he is now almost 4) he adores the staff at nursery, always loves attending, eats delicious meals he often won't entertain at home (quite often seconds too) and falls asleep usually as soon as he gets through the door which to me shows
he has a jam-packed day playing and learning.
All of the staff at Little Sparks are friendly and approachable and will help with any problems in any way they can. I really can't recommend this nursery enough.

This is the first nursery my son has been to. I was quite scared to send my son to nursery because no one looks after him other than me and dad. But Little Sparks Nursery and Preschool have put my mind at ease. I’m glad I went with them, they treat my little boy amazing as the other children. Because
my son is a very fussy eater when he won’t eat what the other children eat they accommodate for him and go above and beyond for him. Definitely 5 stars

My daughter started here at 2 years old and is due to leave in July. I'll be so sad to see her leave, the whole team has been fantastic, she's made friends and has come on so much in all areas. The nursery is spread over three terraced houses and it really is like a home from home feel. The support
from the staff is always amazing and even if you have an issue they are always on hand to help. Would recommend to anyone.

Little Sparks does everything and more. They treat our child like their own, and they do base days around their likes and needs. My daughter went into the baby room shy and cautious and now she is a whirlwind of happiness! She took her first steps at the nursery she is learning words and dancing and
socialisation. The ladies not only have the children’s welfare at heart they take care of each other and do staff treats and appreciation and it’s a great example of showing how to treat each other. I can’t praise the place highly enough, if you are thinking about taking your child there don’t hesitate and sign them up, I can’t wait to see our daughter's further development with the Little Sparks family!

My little one absolutely loves going to nursery and can't wait to get out the door on a morning, bringing me her coat and bag (even on a weekend). She settled in so quickly despite my worries before she started. All the staff are fab and she loves the baby room! She eats lots of yummy grub and gets
up to loads of activities indoor and outdoor. She comes home every week with something new she has learnt. She has her own book so that we can know what she's been up to and when she's eaten, slept and been changed. Plus an app with pics! Staff always have time to offer support and to tell tales of what they've been up to with the little ones. I know I can call and check in anytime which I do quite a bit and the girls are always great at keeping me informed and monitoring anything I'm worried about with my child. They've helped and supported going cold turkey with the dummy and with removing certain foods from her diet. Couldn't ask for better communication or a better nursery.

Hello my names Sarah,


Welcome to Little Sparks Nursery, I am the nursery manager of our outstanding, home from home childcare service. We provide quality childcare, offering a family approach when welcoming our children, parents, carers and staff with our Little Sparks Family ethos. We have a highly qualified staff team with myself holding a Masters degree working with children and young people and our very own early years teacher in preschool. All our staff team are first aid qualified and have completed safeguarding children training including our amazing chef.


I am a very hands on manager, I love being with the children and staff to see how the nursery is progressing and ensuring our learning environments and practices support the children's care and learning needs. I am very passionate and believe children, parents, carers and the staff team should work together to ensure both you and your child's experience at Little Sparks nursery is outstanding.
