Raise to Shine Childcare is a purpose-built childcare care provision, with highly-qualified practitioners and management.

The setting provides fresh plant-based meals prepared daily by the chef on-site, a dedicated outdoor area (roof-top garden) for babies with a self-contained kitchenette for preparing baby meals.   

Every room facilitates a handwash basin and is extensively equipped and resourced to provide the highest comfort and satisfaction for both children and practitioners.

The setting has a large ground floor outdoor area which serves as a free flow area for pre-school children.

For safety, security and wellbeing, the setting is equipped with CCTV and audio recording, security door locks to every room, safety gates, security lighting, a fire assembly point, intruder alarms, a panic alarm, energy-saving lights, toughened glass, antibacterial safety flooring throughout, hand sanitiser stations, staff car parking, a separated staff room and WC facilities.

I was so nervous about putting my daughter in nursery and leaving her while I went back to work and she can also cry around people she's not familiar with. From the day we went to settle her in, my daughter took a liking to Raise To Shine and the staff. All the staff are lovely. I can go to work and
know she has been looked after and cared for with no worries. Thank you to all the staff.

My daughter started her nursery around February time and she has progressed amazingly. The staff is amazing and very friendly. The management of the nursery is brilliant. Couldn’t find a better nursery other than Rise to Shine.

Raise to Shine is an amazing nursery, my son absolutely loves it the staff go above and beyond. My son has settled in so well and that is down to them. The staff have been so supportive in helping him settle as well as the other members of staff. The nursery is modern and accommodates everything you

I’ve had a fantastic experience with this nursery - choosing this nursery has been the best thing for my son. The staff are absolutely fantastic, so supportive and responsive as well as being really flexible to meet the needs of my child. I would highly recommend this nursery and cannot speak highly

The team at Raise to Shine have shown such care and understanding with regard to our little girl, going out of their way to make sure she gets the right support and encouragement with regard to her development. In late January 2020 my daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumour (medulloblastoma), she
was only 15 months old. After surgery to remove the tumour, she endured 11 months of intensive chemotherapy, spending much of that time restricted to a hospital cot. Despite recommendations put forward by her Consultant at the hospital. Obviously, this illness has had a huge impact on her development. Raise to Shine welcomed my daughter in June 2022. Since then we have seen great improvements with her. Rise to Shine has encouraged her and helped her gain confidence with her. We are truly grateful to the team for all the care and dedication that they provide for my daughter. She is very happy there. We can't thank them enough for all that they have done.

From the moment of enquiry, right through to having a look around and bringing my children to this nursery - I haven’t looked back. Everyone who works here is passionate and genuinely cares about the children. They are professional but part of our family.
The children are very happy and comfortable
here, they have smiles on their faces at drop-off and pick-up. They have a variety of activities, delicious homemade food and so much attention throughout their day.
I am so happy that I found this nursery.

Both my children go to this nursery, one is in babies and one in preschool. I have to say when you first walk into the nursery you instantly notice how clean and tidy it is. The staff are very warm and welcoming so it puts both parents and children's mind at ease. So happy my children are attending
Raise to Shine Childcare as they are given a great platform to grow and shine with positive encouragement. The communication between parent and all the staff is excellent. All staff, manager and owners work very hard to ensure that the setting is a great place for the children to attend which is evident in the recent outstanding rating. Our children absolutely love cooking school too! We would definitely recommend this setting as it has been a great 2 years for us.

We could not be happier with our daughter at the nursery. She left her old nursery in difficult circumstances with it closing suddenly. Raise to Shine were so good in giving her time to settle, went the extra mile all the time in allowing us and her time.
Now she absolutely loves going, she bounces
up to the door and is always so happy when we pick her up as she has had such a good day.
The owner and staff are amazing! They really care for the children, it comes across so much! We couldn't be happier.

Fantastic nursery. Very homely with lots of individual focus. Our child loves the activities like cooking and being creative and is always hands-on which I think is brilliant at such a young age.

Brilliant nursery. Have always gone above and beyond for my daughter. Extremely accommodating to extra learning needs and schedules. Great communication between staff and parents. The app which allows me to see my daughter’s progress is updated regularly with information about the day and photos to

My child is currently settling into the nursery having moved from another setting. For a toddler (and me) such a change is very unsettling but I can honestly say the staff here have been absolutely brilliant! The staff are so focused on the happiness and welfare of the children and they are lovely
to talk to - nothing is too much and they really put me at ease. The nursery is very clean, well lit and has lots of different toys to keep the children occupied together with the engaging planned activities. The onsite chef is amazing, making fresh and nutritious food for the kids (yes I have tried it!). The owner/proprietor is exceptional - her vision to create a homely, friendly and child focused environment really feeds down to the staff and really benefit the children - the intention of keeping room intake small is a reflection of this. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to any parent.

My son has recently started in the baby room at Raise to Shine Childcare and has settled in really well. Staff are all lovely and hard working, the manager has lots of time for parents and goes above and beyond to make parents feel settled too. The nursery feels very family orientated. Food is very
