Curious Explorers Day Nursery and Preschool Crookham Village

Curious Explorers in Crookham Village is set within the former village shop and family home, that has been transformed into a home away from home children’s day nursery. The nursery has its very own priority post box, where the postman visits three times a day, and a very spacious garden that backs onto and overlooks the farmer’s field, ensuring for plenty of fresh countryside air on a daily basis!

The children move freely through all the rooms that are light, spacious, and purposefully organised to create a welcoming, fun and warm atmosphere. The team encourage free movement between the outside area and indoors.

Curious Explorers has a fantastic team of highly qualified, committed staff, providing high quality care for children between the ages of birth and 5 years of age. Staff ensure children's social; personal and communication skills are developed via the nursery's many fun activities and child-led play opportunities.

They do believe children learn so much more by being outside, therefore they have Forest School Sessions throughout the week and encourage lots of outdoor play whatever the weather.

The inhouse cooks plan and prepare healthy, well – balanced and delicious meals for all children to enjoy.

Following on from the owner's teaching background, she ensures that all children are planned for and developed to their best potential at their own pace. An online learning journal tracks each child’s progress and can be accessed by parents and carers.
