We opted for Norfolk House Nursery for our second child because of the staff, and they have been excellent.
Everyone is very happy to help and incredibly friendly.
Our girl is tube fed and a team of the staff signed up to learn how to tube feed her, which really made us feel welcome and valued. They
all go the extra mile and communication with us is excellent.
There are plenty of regular activities week in week out for the kids, but also family events where we can all visit and join in, like Halloween, Christmas and story time.
The team have a genuine passion for the kids and our girl loves going in.
We cannot fault the nursery, the facilities or the team.

My daughter has been at the nursery for four months now, and I couldn't be happier. Her transition was very well done. The team has communicated with me throughout to make me feel comfortable. My daughter loves going there and has learnt so much. I love to see the crafts she makes at the nursery. We
are always kept updated with any new events by email, which is great!

Our daughter has attended Norfolk House Nursery since September and is in her pre-school year. The staff are incredible and have taken the time to get to know her, her likes and her development needs. Activities are tailored to her individual needs and activities are suggested and provided to continue
learning and play at home.
We feel like she is getting the best possible pre-school year. Her confidence has grown, she is more willing to participate and try new things and she is keen to expand her social circles and make unprompted conversation.
As a family, we feel very much part of Norfolk House life and love being treated so warmly. Our children all love it and look forward to going.

We are really pleased with Norfolk House nursery and how they have settled in our child. We really enjoy the parent and child activities that the nursery puts on. There is really good communication with parents and the nursery has been kitted out to a high standard. However, what has most impressed
us is the staff themselves and how much they really care about the children and interact with them, our child really loves going.

My daughter has been at the nursery since opening and has had a truly wonderful time here. She started in the babies 2 room and was given the best care and support from the room leader. She gained a lot of life experiences and has truly become a very confident and happy baby. She has recently moved
up to the toddler room and is gaining more language by the day and becoming a very well-rounded child participating, in leapfrog sports on a weekly basis and forest school sessions, when they are provided. The level of care and attention to her needs is exemplary and all staff are a credit to the nursery, with a high level of care provided across the board. We get regular updates and photos sent home of activities and our daughter is always chatty about what she has done in a day.
There are plenty of extra activities and parent and child sessions to get involved with and there is always lots of feedback and things to take home to help with your child's development. A fabulous place.

This Nursery has worked hard to ensure my baby is happy and comfortable in their setting. I am a first-time parent and was slightly nervous about my baby starting at the nursery but my anxieties quickly disappeared when she did. The staff provided an honest and smooth transition into nursery life for
me and my baby. The nursery has provided many opportunities for parent partnership which gives the nursery a family-like feel. They also provide regular visits from an on-site health visitor which is very helpful for a first-time parent. The staff in the baby room are always positive, polite and always happy to help. The baby room is a very good size for the babies to crawl and walk in with lots of toys. There are plenty of tailored activities set out daily for the children and my baby is never bored!

We have been so impressed with Norfolk House Nursery (Moseley) since moving our two year old daughter six months ago after it had recently opened.
The nursery itself is lovely inside, well-equipped and always clean.
Staff are always kind/caring, enthusiastic and keen to help in any way that they can.
Staff seem to enjoy their roles and have formed great relationships with our daughter. The services offered are beyond our expectations - with parents invited in for regular celebrations and parties. Importantly - communication is great through emails from the nursery's senior leaders.
I'd recommend this nursery to any parent. Thanks for all that you do.

We couldn't sing enough praises about Norfolk House Nursery Oxford Road! We have one toddler who has attended throughout the last six months and she loves every day there. When we drop her off in the morning she gives the staff a big smile and handover is always easy, thanks to their enthusiasm and
energy. The staff at Norfolk House are absolutely brilliant, constantly providing new activities and games for the kids to partake in. We also receive thorough reports every day about the children's meals, what they got up to and anything new they learned each day. It really helps you feel connected when you're missing them at work. Would thoroughly recommend to any potential parent looking for a home away from home for their kids!

My children moved to the nursery after quite a difficult experience at another where they were very fearful of going in. The staff have been absolutely amazing, both in dealing with their allergies, in welcoming them into the setting and in making them excited to go to nursery again. We could not be
happier as a family with our experience to date.

We couldn't be happier with how Norfolk House Nursery in Moseley has been for our daughter. Every day she is happy to go to nursery and the staff go above and beyond to create a stimulating and warm environment for the children to thrive. Every drop-off and pick-up there is a friendly welcome and a
detailed update on their exciting day. The facilities are excellent and the activities they organise for the children are fun, educational and varied. I have seen so much development in my daughter since attending nursery and really feel like she is getting lots of attention and the space to learn and grow. It is a hard decision to choose a nursery but we are so pleased with our choice.

We have two children at Norfolk House Nursery Oxford Road and both are delighted each morning as they enter. The variety of activities that they do each day is amazing! This is supported with great equipment in each room and the garden! There is plenty of space in all rooms which are well laid out and
welcoming! The nursery also plans regular trips to local amenities such as the supermarket, petting zoo and soft play facility and recently had a visiting farm! The staff are all enthusiastic and caring for all children and give great feedback each evening. We are so lucky to have our children there!

My daughter has been at Norfolk House Nursery in Moseley for several months now and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The facilities are fantastic and all of the staff are outstanding, very caring and the communication is very good. Our daughter has an allergy and this has been fully respected and

We are delighted with this nursery. We have had to be at a few nurseries in the last 2-3 years due to job moving etc but this is second to none! The facilities are fantastic, the staff so caring, and attentive, the activities for the children are imaginative, stimulating, and educational and they genuinely
care for your children. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough and have not a doubt in my mind when they get their first Ofsted rating they will agree that it is outstanding. Well done girls for creating such an amazing place!

Hayley Fox

Job Title: Senior Nursery Manager

Joined: 2009

I am Hayley Fox, the Senior Nursery Manager. I oversee all three of our nurseries, sharing my time between them and working closely with the Nursery Managers who are responsible for their day-to-day operation. We have found that this arrangement further enhances the level of service we are able to provide and keeps us at the very forefront of Early Years education.


I have worked in Early Years education for 22 years. I started work at our Norfolk Road setting in April 2009, some five months before it opened its doors. I have therefore been able to recruit staff, plan and implement policies, and develop best practice in all areas from the Nursery’s very inception. My own daughter attended the Nursery and progressed through every age group, which has enabled me to view it from a parent’s perspective.


My team and I would be delighted to show you around our setting, explain further the service we provide and answer all your questions. Please do not hesitate to make contact, and I look forward very much to meeting you in the future.

I started working at Norfolk House Nursery, Norfolk Road in 2012 as a Modern Apprentice. Between 2012 and 2016, I worked my way through positions from Senior, Room Leader, Deputy and then Manager. Since 2016, I have enjoyed every second of working as the Nursery Manager to implement the highest standards of care and education. Not only that, but it has been an absolute pleasure to build up such great partnerships with the hundreds of families I have had the pleasure to meet.
