N Balham joined the family in 2020. A sensitive restoration of a beautiful period building, the space is filled with character while equally purpose-built to support every element of the early years curriculum. Packed full of features including a dedicated art studio and mini children’s kitchen, the huge garden has an adventure playground, gardening patch, sports area, water play area, mud kitchen and sandpit.

N Family Club are striving to rethink early years education. They're preparing children for life in the modern, ever-changing world. Working with leading early years experts, N have created their own bespoke curriculum, covering and building upon the EYFS, and featuring their N extras: yoga, Spanish, cooking, Doodle Dance, and the N passport - a series of cultural trips that N expect all children to have been on before the start school.

N Family Balham is a fantastic nursery. Our two children (aged three and two) have thrived there from the start.
The staff are proactive, caring and effective, and the huge garden means the boys get to run off all of their oodles of energy every day.
We absolutely love the nursery and feel very lucky
to have the boys set up for success there.

We joined N Nursery when it opened and have two boys there, aged three and almost two. It's been an overwhelmingly positive experience. The building is large, well-equipped and decorated to a high standard and the garden is particularly good, full of activities and is where the children spend a lot
of time. We have been consistently impressed with the staff and the genuine love and care that they display for the children. In line with many nurseries, they've suffered a bit of staff turnover over the last couple of years, but have recruited to a high standard and crucially the management team has remained consistent. We owe them a particular debt of gratitude, due to their incredible patience and care attending to the special needs of one of our boys, which they could reasonably have declined to do. We also like the app, communication with parents, pragmatic approach to illness and the food is excellent and often better than what we eat as adults. Would highly recommend.

We love N Family Balham! We couldn’t have hoped for a better nursery to care for our child. The staff and management team are superb and our child runs into nursery every day, looking forwards to seeing his friends and his favourite team members. We’re thankful for all the hard work N Family do.

Overall a great experience. The staff is extremely attentive and has made great efforts to get to know my child. I appreciate the regular updates and evaluation of my child’s progress and feel confident my child is in good hands while I am working.

My son has been at N Balham since he was 18 months, now 3 years years old. I’m very happy with the nursery, particularly the staff, the facilities, and the quality of the learning. This is my second child and N Balham is head and shoulders above my eldest’s previous Balham nursery.
We chose this nursery
because of the amazing outside space, the food menu and on-site prep, both of which I continue to be very happy with. Like most London nurseries there is a bit of staff turnover but the care and education has been wonderful. We are very happy with N Balham and would highly recommend it.

Our little girl has been with N Family Balham since she was 8 months old and now she's almost 2! We have only had good experiences with the entire team. Everyone is passionate and nurturing and everyone (not just the educators in our specific room) knows our little girl by name and knows who we are
as her parents.
The facilities are beautiful - big open classrooms, lots of different activities for the children to do and the garden is stunning.
We have also been through a room change with N and it was managed smoothly - lots of settling-in sessions in her new room, her new educators spent time in her old room - did we have tears at the beginning when she moved rooms? Yes, but we always get there in the afternoon to a happy, bubbly little girl who has had a wonderful day!

I am pleased to express my appreciation for the outstanding care and support N Family Club Balham have provided to us. The entire team has created a nurturing and stimulating environment for my child and I am delighted with their progress.
The staff members are genuinely passionate about the well-being
and development of each child. The activities and learning opportunities are thoughtfully planned and executed, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience. The constant feedback, which is supported by photos, is fantastic and allows you to track progress real-time.
I have seen my child's confidence, social skills and knowledge flourish during their time at the nursery. The open communication and warm, welcoming atmosphere have always made us feel valued as a parents.

We are very happy with N Family Club Balham. It is very apparent that the management and staff genuinely care about the children. They make every effort to ensure your child is happy, learning and having fun and also try their best to put parents’ minds at ease. The facilities are impeccable, with the
largest outdoor space of any nursery in the area, and the weekly menu for the children is impressive.

We feel so lucky to have found N Family Club, Balham - they have the most lovely staff, incredible space and the communication is brilliant.
Our daughter has already grown so much since starting in January. We were nervous going back to work and leaving but she loves it so much and gets excited every
day going into ‘The Castle’. The app is excellent and we get updates daily.

Our son started at N Family Club when he was 11 months old. The high standards the nursery holds were evident from our first visit. The staff are incredibly caring and kind, the environment created in each nursery room is beautiful and functional, the menu is inspiring, and the large garden is something
that is very hard to find in London. In the first few months at nursery, our son has developed quickly in many new areas and we have to credit the staff and curriculum for this progress. On top of that, he LOVES his key worker and others in his room and is genuinely excited to be dropped off every morning.

We have put our daughter in N Family Club from the start of her nursery journey. We specifically wanted to be at this nursery because of the location, the quality of the building/setup and the very large garden to play in.
Since day one, the staff have been super amazing. They communicate well, they
handle different situations with care and attention, and shown to be compassionate and flexible at times of parental stress (especially when our daughter is ill.)
The varied activities are super, and clearly have pushed our daughter's development further. She's super happy to the point that some days she doesn't want to leave. She actually ends up being a little too tired from the fun she's getting, but that's all fine with us to be honest because she's happy.
We couldn't be happier to be honest with our pick of nurseries.

I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. All of the workers are friendly and caring. They make the time to get to know you as parents as well as your child. My son happily goes into his room every morning and straight into his key worker’s arms! The nursery space is the best in Balham - lots of safe,
outdoor space for the children to play. The nursery rooms are all brand new, clean and well equipped. The curriculum incorporates Montessori as well as Forest School, both encouraging independence which I’ve really noticed the positive impact of in the 2 months my son has been attending.

Fantastic nursery and our daughter loves it.
Biggest standouts for me;
1. The team. Every single one of them really seems to be loving their job and love working with kids
2. All food is freshly prepared on-site
3. A massive garden area

Our little 2yr old boy absolutely loves going to N Family in Balham, he’s so happy there and always has a big smile on his face when we drop him off & pick him up. The facilities are fantastic with the most amazing garden - the best we could find in the area. The food is so good as well, we are very
jealous of the yummy weekly food menus we see. The staff always go out of their way to make sure the children and parents are all happy, we have recommended all our friends send their little ones there too.

Our 11-month-old daughter has been attending N Family Club Balham for 2 months now. We are super happy with the nursery - the staff go above and beyond to make sure she’s happy and keep us as parents in the loop with her development. They have made themselves available to answer any of our questions/concerns
during the settle process and beyond. The facilities are amazing - the children get to spend a lot of time in the garden, and the indoor rooms are lovely and very well equipped. We had our first family event at Easter which was so nice to spend more time with the educators and meet other parents and children too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nursery!

We couldn't be happier with our experience with N Family Balham. Our son joined shortly after they opened. The settling in period was as stress-free as it could be and our little one quickly developed a relationship with the educators and his new friends. The nursery's approach to learning is exemplary
and our son is thriving at the nursery. The children spend a lot of time in the large outdoor play area where they learn about nature and develop their gross motor skills. We get daily updates on the key learning areas and activities available to the children which helps us understand what our son is learning about and engaging with.


The educators in the room and management go above and beyond for our son, welcoming feedback to ensure all our needs with regard to our son's experience at the nursery are met. They truly care about our son and they each have their own special relationship with him recounting stories and exchanges they have with him during pick up. Highly recommended!
