At King’s House Nursery you will find an oasis of warmth and laughter, with an abundance of resources to inspire little minds and create a love of learning. Nestled in the Alberts in the heart of the community in Richmond, King’s House is an educational Nursery where boys and girls become happy, confident and thoughtful children who respect each other and the wonderful surroundings they share.

Each child is taught and supported by a highly experienced team of staff who wants the best for your child and strives to ensure they flourish and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.

All children in the Nursery are guaranteed a place in Reception at King’s House School, preparing them for their next steps at schools. From September 2024, this will also include girls as the school transitions to full co-education.

Funding & Fees Guide for King's House Nursery

  • In the 2023-24 academic year, fees range from £2,870 to £5,580 per term, depending on the combination of sessions.

  • King’s House School offers the Universal 15 hours Early Education Funding for 3 and 4 year olds. They do not participate in the Extended 15 hour Funding scheme. Fees per term vary dependent on the number of sessions your child attends. For more information on fees please visit their website.

My daughter has just completed a year at Kings House Nursery from age 3 to 4. I was impressed from my first viewing. Whilst other nurseries did viewings outside of opening times, Kings House showed me around during the morning whilst the children were in class. I was able to see the lovely nurturing
environment and how different groups of children were engaged in meaningful activities. The building and gardens are beautiful and well-equipped. The children are given mostly healthy snacks but also occasional treats. I also liked the online platform for sharing updates to know what the children have been up to each week. It has been a pleasure to see my daughter grow in confidence in their care. Thank you to the manager and the team for giving her such a positive start to her school life.

Amazing nursery with the best teachers. They care for my daughter like she is their own, it's a joy to send her here. Every day the teachers welcome us with a smile. We get daily/weekly updates of what our child is doing at nursery as well as what she will be doing for the term. My daughter has a lot
of energy and I found this nursery was perfect for giving her some structure but still having loads of fun! I can't recommend this nursery enough!

The absolute best nursery I’ve ever seen. The staff go above and beyond for the kids there. My son learned so much and it was a positive caring nursery environment. I don’t know one parent that wasn’t impressed and happy with King's House Nursery. I can’t recommend them enough.

Incredible nursery with amazing staff.
You can see and feel the love from everyone that works here.
They are really engaging with our little son and care for him like one of their own, it’s so reassuring to know he’s safe and happy.
I honestly can’t praise or recommend this nursery highly enough.

My girl has been in the nursery for 2 terms (both caterpillar and butterfly class), starting from speaking no English, too shy to speak to people after a long covid stay at home period. To my surprise, she settled in straight away, running into nursery without looking back every morning, even asked
me to cancel the summer holiday because she wanted to stay in nursery! The nursery staff are so supportive, they are really taking care of and monitoring my girl’s development, giving honest and useful suggestions about how to bring the best out of her, never rush, very gentle, I can tell they have a step by step plan of getting her language out. We can’t believe after just two terms, she’s now a chatterbox, and even received a 4+ assessment offer! Most importantly, thanks to King’s House Nursery, my girl has developed a very positive attitude in going to school, which I think will benefit her in the long run.

Our daughter started nursery without knowing English.
The nursery staff are really gentle and understanding for my daughter and for us as parents. They are really lovely and they always encourage us to settle at the nursery.

Our son has had a wonderful experience at King's House Nursery, the nursery heads and their team have made his introduction to nursery a very happy affair - they are all so welcoming, kind, patient, and caring. We continue to be impressed by the wide range of intellectually stimulating and fun activities.
We really appreciate so much continual feedback via weekly letters, updates and the parent app. The nursery always appears clean and tidy and the children look very happy. A huge thank you to everyone.

My daughter goes to the nursery with a smile every day. The nursery has great facilities both indoor and outdoor. The staff are very friendly and caring. The atmosphere is relaxed. Communication with nursery is excellent. The children are always busy with amazing activities. The best nursery ever.

King's House Nursery School is a very special place. From the teacher's genuine smiles that greet you at the start of the day to the beaming smile from my daughter upon pick up every single day, I am delighted to have found what I believe is the best nursery in Richmond. King's House Nursery is such a lovely nursery where children are nurtured, supported and encouraged and the communication with parents is excellent. The staff is warm, welcoming and very engaged with the children and their families. Both our sons attended and received an excellent preparation for school.
The teachers put a lot of thought every day on the activities they prepare for the children which are fun but also help them develop all the skills they need. I would highly recommend it.

Amazing staff that truly care about my daughter’s wellbeing and development. I love that my daughter runs to the front door every morning itching to get to nursery. She loves her teachers and enjoys taking part in daily activities like planting sunflowers and dancing and singing to nursery rhymes. King's
House is a happy nursery that nurtures their pupils. We definitely made the right choice in deciding to send our little one here.
