Little Acres Day Nursery and Pre-School is situated on the new Woodlands Development in Cliffe Woods and opened in December 2022.

The brand new nursery is made up of 4 rooms which have been specially designed to suit different ages and stages of development.

Designed for the youngest children, the Baby Room provides a nurturing and caring environment for babies. The team work with parents and families, following the routines you have set up at home to keep babies happy and content.

The Toddler/ Nursery Room offers a stimulating environment in which the team introduce children to a range of activities and resources, to promote their learning and development. Purposefully laid out, children have access to low level resources, ensuring they can independently explore and make active choices throughout the day.

In the Pre-School room, the team focus on promoting learning through real life experiences and ensure each child is engaged and stimulated, developing their own interests. Following the Early Years Foundation State Curriculum, children learn practical skills such as putting on their own coat and using the toilet independently. There is also a a self service system at all meal times to promote gross motor skills. Along with the Nursery Room, this space offers direct access to the garden, which has a variety of natural wildlife, encouraging children develop a love for the natural world.

The friendly team are committed to giving each child the best start in life, and believe in making every opportunity a learning opportunity whilst also ensuring each day is filled with fun and creating happy memories.

As parents and especially first-time parents we were anxious about choosing a preschool for our son. From the first visit around, to see the warm welcoming, clean, inviting space he would have to learn in. We felt reassured.
We had some difficulties at first with him adapting to Pre-school and we
cannot thank Little Acres Day Nursery and Pre-school staff enough for how they approached this. They supported him, and us in a sensitive way. They were modern thinking, well informed and reassured us with their knowledge of support and ways they could help him. He has benefited from attending pre-school and loves to go, often telling me how much he loves his teachers.
The forest school has been amazing and Emma's approach to learning is fantastic.
Little Acres provided a fantastic environment to learn in all areas, in a safe and supportive way.
We truly cannot thank you enough.

I absolutely love Little Acres Day Nursery and Pre-school Everyone is so lovely and caring, I never feel sad leaving my baby with them as I know she is in such good hands! Two members of staff, in particular, are amazing, we couldn't have wished for better people to look after our daughter and will
miss them once she goes up to the toddler room. But I am also excited to meet other team members and build a bond with the people who look after our daughter.

My little one started Little Acres Day Nursery and Pre-school in January 2023, since starting, he has thrived, and my husband and I could not be happier with the care he receives whilst in this setting. The staff are always so helpful and are always available should we ever have any concerns. Since
being in the pre-school room, he has formed special bonds with the staff and is a lot more confident with his numbers, colours, letters and general knowledge it is a joy to see.

Little Acres Day Nursery and Pre-school has been amazing for my little one. He has grown in confidence, and you can tell he has the best time whilst there. I want to give a special mention to two members of staff who are truly excellent. They are so attentive and welcoming and really make my little
one feel safe and at home. They also make sure that I am always updated regarding my little one's development and activities, which gives me piece of mind whilst I am working. I could not recommend this nursery enough.

Little Acres is the home-from-home setting my little one needs when I return to work following maternity.
The staff have an amazing relationship with the children and have made the transition for me and my little one so easy. I would 100% recommend.

I am committed to providing the highest standard of care for children. At Little Acres, we strive to provide your children with endless opportunities for play and learning. We like to work closely with our parents and other agencies to ensure the very best for the children.
