Giggles is a purpose-built nursery, offering inclusive childcare and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years old. Giggles provides both government-funded and private places. The children and families at Giggles are at the heart of everything that they do, their highly qualified and experienced staff provide a professional environment that responds to each child’s individual needs, nurturing their strengths and developing their unique characters whilst following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Children at Giggles are cared for in developmental and age-appropriate rooms for babies, toddlers and preschool children. Each room has an extensive amount of space and access to its own, private outdoor play area. Giggles also has a specialist sensory room and equipment for children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities.

I was worried about my son starting nursery as he never really liked to be away from me so I was scared he wouldn’t settle. It took a few weeks for him to settle and then he loved nursery more than ever! He even asks to go to the nursery on a weekend! His development has come on incredible! He can talk
so much since starting nursery when he could only say a few words. The management and staff always keep parents in the loop by sending photographs and messages on their development. The nursery staff are lovely and I’m glad I chose Giggles for my son. Overall, I am going to miss my child attending giggles nursery but look forward to his future at big boy school

My daughter started when she was 8.5 months old. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and obviously enjoy working with young children. Her welcome to nursery really settled my nerves and although she had a couple of days when she was getting upset, the staff are so experienced about settling children
this didn’t last long. The communication between nursery and parents is great and I love seeing the updates on the parent app. My daughter really enjoys going to Giggles Day Nursery and enjoys all the activities, it’s really helped with her development. Thank you to all the staff for supporting my daughter.

My child has really thrived since joining. She will be transitioning to primary school this year and has really had an amazing year with Giggles. All staff are warm friendly and welcoming. I cannot fault the nursery at all the staff really do go the extra mile to help your child succeed.

My daughter only goes once a week but she absolutely loves it and talks about her day all weekend. She's settled so so well and has an amazing bond with the staff. She's made friends. The staff were amazing helping us with potty training and helping us sort out her separation anxiety. The communication
is fantastic. We can message via the app and have an answer within an hour. Overall I'm so glad we chose this nursery for our daughter and I can't wait to see what the next year brings for her

Giggles Day Nursery, Gipton is really an outstanding nursery, as my boy has been filled up with a lot of energy, joy, curiosity and happiness at the end of every day he has been here. There is a range of toys in all rooms, which makes my son really happy to be here. Although he moved to England for
just around two months, he has gotten used to a totally new environment much faster than I was afraid of before, thanks a lot to the dedicated childcare of Giggles Day Nursery Gipton.

We have been with Giggles since it very first opened its doors in 2017 my then 5-month-old daughter had her very first day in the baby room. A year later our little boy started in the baby room too.
From the first day, it has been a wonderful experience.
There was a period of high staff turnover which
at the time concerned us but this has settled.
Nevertheless, the consistency in the childcare was unaffected and every single day has been filled with love, happiness, amazing activities and genuine interest, knowledge and understanding of every child they care for. They work together with parents to achieve the child's full potential and for this, I am so grateful. Both my children are happy, confident and caring. I know this is because of the time and effort that has been put in by all the amazing staff.
Even when transitioning to school the time, effort and collaboration with the school are above and beyond.
Thank you Giggles you truly are special.

As a nursery nurse myself I found it very difficult to find a nursery I loved for my son. I knew as soon as I walked in I wanted him to go to Giggles. My son has a severe speech delay and receives additional funding. The staff at the nursery go above and beyond to support him. The manager is always
open to talk and support. Giggles always accommodate when I need extra sessions. My son is always happy to go to nursery and all staff know exactly how to support him.

Giggles have been fantastic with my little girl. All staff members are approachable within the setting.
My little girl had a speech delay, she is a fussy eater, she suffered from nerves/anxiety from using nursery toilets
All of my concerns and issues I addressed with the manager and she was fantastic
at addressing each issue making sure all the staff were reading off the same page so we had consistency. She drew a plan of action up and we kept in touch to review my little girl's progress. The manager was great at listening and reassuring me and advising me on what would be the best course of action.
Staff helped her with her speech, she has come along so much since she started at Giggles. The staff always share her achievements and give feedback.
I highly recommend Giggles, the staff go above and beyond and I'm so glad I have such a good relationship with the staff as they do with me.
Thank you for all you do for us, your efforts are greatly appreciated.

My daughter has been coming to Giggles full time since September 2021 and we all love it! Her speech has come on leaps and bounds and I put it all down to her getting to do so much interactive play with her peers under the guidance of staff. She adores her Red Room workers and tells me what she’s done
and who she has played with every evening.
I really like the app as I can message the Red Room directly with any questions/answers and I get the updates throughout the day on what she’s doing or eating.
Knowing she is having the best time in this setting makes me so happy.

Management and staff at Giggles are really friendly and willing to help where they can.
My son loves attending and even asks to go on his days off!
They provide useful resources, which keeps me updated on my child's progress, day to day activities as well as what they’re eating.
I love how they
include extra physical activities such as Rugby Tots, which my son loves!

My daughter has been at Giggles for over a year now and she absolutely loves it! Always asking if she is going to the nursery. The staff are brilliant and so is the care. My daughter has come on so much with her letters, numbers, shapes, motor skills and overall confidence. She is definitely ahead for
starting school. I cannot recommend this nursery enough. It is number one in my opinion.

My children have been in this nursery since it first opened in 2017, I have seen it grow and change and adapt with the times, as well as undergoing a management change. The care and facilities are both excellent, and the care staff are extremely competent and supportive, I cannot fault the care one
bit. However, I have been disappointed on numerous occasions to hear staff members talk in a very negative way about how they were treated by upper management (not the current setup). There also seems to be a very high staff turnover, I see members of staff I have never seen before too frequently for my liking, so consistency may be an issue. The current management setup is very approachable and friendly towards parents, and they deal with any issues promptly and effectively. Overall I am very happy with the service I have had as a parent and my children have been really happy there for a long time.

This is by far the best nursery in Leeds! My daughter absolutely loved it there! Fantastic staff who genuinely care about the children! The manager is always so helpful and friendly and always dealt with any questions I had swiftly. My daughter's nursery nurse taught my daughter how to walk (she was
premature and delayed in her development). My daughter came on in leaps and bounds since starting this nursery! Can’t recommend this nursery highly enough!

Honestly, I couldn't recommend Giggles Day Nursery enough. From my first initial show around, I was put at ease. The manager was so friendly and the whole setting had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff all welcomed me, straight away interacted with my little girl, and made us both feel comfortable.
Giggles use an app which is AMAZING! I get regular video and photo updates. I can see how much my daughter has eaten, slept, and drank as well as nappy changes. The nursery has amazing resources, outdoor areas and is very clean. The high-quality level of care and detail you receive on your child's day is just phenomenal. The staff have built an excellent relationship with me and my little girl, they take such good care of her. I couldn't be happier or recommend Giggles enough. Thank you so much for everything you have done for my daughter, she has progressed so much!

My daughter has attended giggles since September and she loves it. She has made so many friends and every evening she will fill me in on all the fun things her and her friends and the staff have been doing! They update parents throughout the day via the app with activities the children are doing and
what they will be learning about that week. It took a while for her to settle in but the nursery did everything they could to make sure she enjoyed it and settled in eventually. Her favourite activities at nursery are the wake-up shake-up they do each week which involves getting the children active and dancing. I would recommend this nursery never had any problems and nothing is too much bother for the friendly staff.

Terri is the Nursery Manager at Giggles Day Nursery (Gipton). She has over 16 years experience of working within the childcare sector and has developed a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience. We are proud and honoured to share Terri's 16 years of service have all been within our nursery sites! Terri has her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Nursery management training and also Advanced safeguarding training and many other qualifications which contribute towards providing the highest quality care and education for your child. Terri has extensive knowledge of child development and experience of supporting children with additional needs, behaviour and EAL children.

My name is Holly. I am an enthusiastic and passionate person who has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the childcare and education sector. My career started more than 16 years ago, working at one of our other nurseries whilst gaining my Level 3 in childcare. I then progressed within my career and gained my SEND Teaching Assistant qualification and Qualified teacher status, teaching key stage 1 in a primary school. I am delighted my career has gone full circle, I am now back where my heart belongs, working in Early years at Giggles Day Nursery as Assistant Manager. I am really looking forward to the years ahead, working to build and secure positive relationships with the children, parents, our staff team and the community.
