Woodlea House has provided our son with a safe, nurturing environment and we have seen him excel in his speech and play! We love the variety of food on the menu for our son and the never-ending activities offered to him.
Sometimes, he doesn't want to leave!

My daughter, two and a half, started at Woodlea in February. The staff were so welcoming and made her feel comfortable in no time at all! She can’t wait for her days at nursery and is always so happy to go.
The facilities are amazing, the children are always doing lovely activities and there is a
real warmth and homely feeling.
After viewing many nurseries I chose Woodlea and I’m so pleased I did!
The on-site nutritionist makes a variety of meals that my daughter very much enjoys!
The staff are so kind and friendly - I feel very confident leaving my daughter in their capable hands.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. Beautiful surroundings and the staff are so caring and loving. It feels like home the minute you walk through the door. My daughter goes to two sessions a week and her development improves each and every time she attends. Feel so lucky and grateful to be a part of the Woodlea

I can't fault this nursery - my son started when it first opened and I am so glad I changed his nursery to Woodlea House. The manager is approachable and genuinely cares about the children and their families. The nursery staff are friendly, full of enthusiasm and it is clear that they love their jobs
and helping the children develop.
They supply lovely home-cooked food and they have encouraged him to try new foods he hasn't tried before, the outside area has been perfectly created for toddlers.
I love that they update the app during the day with photos and food, nappy changes and naps. It's such a relief to know that your child is in the safest of hands whilst at work.

Our daughter started when the nursery opened, having come from a childminder it was important the environment has the right feel while allowing the opportunities for her to develop more and Woodlea has that! Since starting we have seen a huge leap in her and she loves being there, always happy to go,
not always happy to leave! At the start I was told the aim was to be a home from home and a little nursery family, they have achieved that. When you walk in not only is the environment stunning and very clean with a good range of activities offered, but the atmosphere is calm and warm. The staff are fantastic, you can see how much they care about the children, nothing is too much trouble and they are so accommodating! They have an on-site chef/nutritionist, seeing the range of food offered is amazing, our daughter is having the opportunity to try new things all the time. Also, with us both working shifts the breakfast club is so handy (something we struggled to find). Can’t recommend Woodlea more!

My daughter started with Woodlea House when it first opened in January, she’s never been to a nursery setting before so this was a first time experience for both me and my daughter. When I went to look around it was in the process of being built. But when I walked through the door and had a conversation
with the owner about the nursery and what they had to offer, I knew I wanted her to come here. I wanted somewhere that’s got a homely feel but also somewhere her development could thrive and I generally feel that this is the place for that. But I can honestly say I’m so happy that I chose to send her here, she comes out happy every single time which makes me happy.
The owner and all the staff are so lovely and I feel like nothing is ever a problem.
Would definitely recommend this nursery.

Our lockdown baby (who’s not so much a baby anymore) started at Woodlea when it opened. Being a shy child that had never been without myself or Dad starting nursery was a challenge but the staff were completely supportive and met him where he was making the transfer into the nursery as smooth as it
could have been. He loves it there and has blossomed and become far more confident in the month they have been open. The staff are always so attentive and caring.

Absolutely cannot fault this nursery/preschool, staff are very welcoming and professional.
Drop off and pick up is very, very smooth!
The children learn really good life skills but at the same time, they can still be children and have fun without even realising what they are learning.
The facilities
are outstanding and the cleanliness is incredible.
No hesitation in recommending Woodlea, it is fantastic.

The best nursery in Bournemouth!
We visited a few nurseries before choosing Woodlea and even though it was still under construction and was to be a brand new nursery, we knew it was the one for us.
Our daughter started in January when the nursery first opened and settled in very quickly. I put this
down to the homely environment and the amazing staff.
The facilities are brilliant, all-new toys, books, swings etc everything you could ask for is at Woodlea.
The app they use keeps us updated with the day including letting us know all food and snacks she eats…there is always a good variety of homemade food, she eats better at nursery than she does at home!
Our daughter will be there for the next three or so years and I am confident she will receive the best start in life.

Our son started at Woodlea House in January 2022. He has settled in so quickly and loves being there.
The staff have been so supportive when mummy has had a few moments. It can be difficult leaving your child for the first time but I just knew straight away this nursey was special.
They have an
on-site chef/nutritionist, how fab is that! It’s nice to see so many activities taking place and the outside space is fantastic!
I was impressed with the toilet facilities as they have a wet room where the children are completely washed down should they have an accident - I hadn’t seen that anywhere else.
I feel my son is going to grow and develop as he is already showing this in his first 6 weeks.

Woodlea House is a beautiful setting for my child and the owner and her team are 5 stars! They have invested love and care into my son and he has settled beautifully in such a short space of time. He is only 8 months old, 7 months when he first started, and he is already thriving. I see changes in his
development every time I pick him up and he comes home happy and content. I feel at complete ease leaving him knowing he is being looked after just as I would want him to be. I can’t thank the owner and her team enough!

Sending your child to a brand new nursery is always daunting when you have no feedback to read, no Ofsted report or any recommendation but honestly, I wouldn't let this put you off. The staff are great, my little one loves going in and they always offer a wide range of activities for the children. I
would highly recommend Woodlea and think they are doing a great job. The app is also great and we love to see the updates each day.

Joined: 2021

Just over 17 years ago, I dropped my son off at his nursery for the first time. Choosing his nursery was a difficult experience for so many reasons and there began my dream to create a nursery setting that was different from any other. Fast forward 17 years and here I am today bringing to life my passion to create an exceptional early years provision. My mission is to provide an environment of enrichment and engagement, where children become happy, independent and resilient lifelong learners. Our nursery is a beautiful and inspirational space where individuals will learn the fundamental skills for life, developing respect and care for others and the wider environment.


My team and I are devoted to providing each child who joins us the building blocks they need to be confident in their next steps.
