Management of the nursery is very good, and the staff are very friendly, nice and respectful - always welcome you at the main gate when you pick up the kids and share with you all the activities that have been done with your kids throughout the day.
The facility inside and outside is very good.
Overall,
kids like it very much to be in the nursery.

I cannot recommend Lark Hill enough, the staff are caring, experienced and knowledgeable. They use a child centred approach which has helped our child to develop at his own pace, he loves going to nursery and often runs all the way there. They have picked up on areas our son may need more support and
helped us with this, he loves the free flow of the provision and the independence he is allowed there but also feels safe with the lovely staff.

Lark Hill Nursery School has a lovely indoor and outdoor play area for all ages to play in. They do external activities with the children and organised an end of year trip to the zoo which was a great day out. The staff are wonderful, compassionate, and really supportive of the children and their carers.
They give regular updates and are always happy to have a chat and have carers pop in and say hi. We used another private nursery previously and after only a few weeks saw what a significant difference there was in our child going to Lark Hill Nursery School. Everything was better and I only wish someone had recommended here earlier on. I highly recommend Lark Hill Nursery School. The manager and her team are fabulous.

This nursery is an amazing place for children to play and learn inside and has a great outdoor space. The teachers are great and take pride in the children's well being. My son loves going to nursery always happy and has fun.

We chose Lark Hill Nursery School for our son (after looking at lots of private nurseries and other preschools) because of its amazing outdoor space and free flow play environment. This felt right for our child as an introduction to being away from home but not yet in a formal classroom environment.
I was also impressed with the caring and experienced staff, with low staff turnover which is a rare find in many settings.


We have since sent our other son to Lark Hill as well when it was time for him to go to nursery and I would 100% recommend it to anyone.


The children have so much fun and are looked after so well, as little individuals. The staff really get to know each child and their needs and personalities. There is such thought and careful consideration that goes into each activity and play space, and we have found it to be an extremely caring and supportive first learning environment for our boys.


Go and have a look around, you don't regret it!

Honestly can’t recommend them enough. My son absolutely loves it at Larkhill and you can see that he’s excited to be there every day he runs in with a “woo hoo” he loves the garden and I can see why it’s always set up with some great games and given us some ideas for our own garden like the chalks.
The staff are lovely and very supportive not just to my son but also to me. We sadly lost my mum last year and the nursery checked in on us often and even offered to move my son's hours around to accommodate arrangements if needed. For me, this shows that they care not just for the children but the families too and understand that family dynamics have such a massive impact on children’s development. On top of that, the support for my son individually is amazing. He has a speech delay and the staff have worked with me and my husband to help encourage his speech, and the activities they do all help this and we are seeing so much progress now.

This nursery is amazing! The staff are so caring. The nursery has an amazing outside space and an amazing inside space. There is loads of stuff always going on for the kids. The food is amazing and I 100% recommended it. The kids love it and love being there!

I sent my little girl to nursery when she turned three. All of the staff have been amazing in helping her gain confidence and love school. She has come on so much since starting at Lark Hill Nursery School. They have an amazing outside area and lots of different things to do indoors. The staff are very
compassionate and caring, and always make my little girl feel comfortable being there. I am very happy that I chose this nursery and would recommend it to anybody.

Our little boy started at Lark Hill the term after he turned 3. He went to a childminder as well, who regularly dropped off and picked up from the nursery. Because of this, and the nurturing environment of Lark Hill, he settled in really quickly.
He learnt so much while he was there, made some very
good friends, gained self-confidence and always looked forward to his nursery days.
Unfortunately, his time there was cut short due to Covid 19. But we were so impressed with the way the staff dealt with lockdown. He thoroughly enjoyed the videos posted by the staff, the storytimes, and was keen to join in with the suggested activities. He is nearly at the end of reception now and recently said that he missed nursery and the staff there, who really made an impact on him.

I have sent three of my children to Lark Hill and they had a fantastic time. The staff are brilliant with the children, nurturing them but also helping them to develop their independence. The garden area is great with lots of natural play areas and outdoor equipment. Communication with parents is good
and my children came home happy every day. Would happily recommend this nursery.

My son attended Lark Hill Nursery in the years of 2018/until June 2020. It was the best thing to happen to him. The freedom the kids have to learn and express themselves was next to none. My little boy loved the outdoor space. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The support we got during
the difficult times of lockdown was amazing, we felt our son was not forgotten and included in multiple activities, keeping a connection with the staff and other children. As a family, we would highly recommend this nursery.

Lark Hill is a wonderful nursery, both of my daughters attended with my youngest moving on to reception in 2020. Pre pandemic the nursery encouraged family involvement with events and stay and play sessions. During the pandemic, they provided video content, resources and food parcels. The staff are
simply wonderful and both my children still feel deep connections to their favourite key workers months (and even years for my eldest) after leaving. The learning environment supports independent choice with different areas for activities and independent development, mixing paints from powder, washing up after etc. The information on development provided to parents and the opportunity to speak to key workers is brilliant. I cannot fault any area and I'm sure this is why it is consistently 'outstanding'. I have no more children to send to Lark Hill but I will have fond memories of our time there.

Two of my children have been to Lark Hill Nursery School, one now in primary school where they heavily contributed to the skills he needed to transition smoothly, teaching and cherishing him. All still remembering him now!
My second child is currently here and by no surprise has settled in very well
and loves it.
This is all because of the wonderful staff and care that is given to the children.
The rooms are great to provide a safe, happy learning environment, with an equally fab outdoor area to explore.
I am very grateful to all the staff, each and everyone wonderful. A special shout out to my daughter's key workers who have been and continue to be amazing.
There is a great working relationship between the staff at the nursery. Communication is regular and activities are varied, most of all, they care wholeheartedly. Overall, this nursery is an outstanding environment where children flourish. I couldn’t recommend more!

Lark Hill Nursery has been a fantastic choice for us. I have felt so at ease and confident in sending my little boy there for his first steps into the big wide world of education. The staff are all so friendly, he has so much fun when he attends and the gardens are brilliant for children who love the
outdoors. I’m looking forward to my little boy spending more time at the nursery once he goes into the next classroom. I always thought I wouldn’t use a nursery as we don’t need it for childcare but I’m so glad I found Lark Hill as my little boy has come on so much in his personal development and we think that is definitely from attending nursery and socialising with the teachers and other children.
