We recently relocated to the UK from overseas. The nursery is very nice and welcoming, plus they do their best to accommodate to our daughters needs i.e the language barrier. I think the best review is itself the face that our daughter who didn't speak a word in English three weeks ago was able to find
new friends both in teachers and in other children and wants to return to the nursery everyday. I don't think we could have chosen better with this place.

We have two boys at Woodstock Road Nursery and despite them being polar opposite personalities both boys have received fantastic care and had a wonderful experience. We, as parents have felt welcomed and supported, and are extremely glad that both boys have been able to attend the same wonderful place.
We're looking forward to their little sister starting in Spring and feel reassured that she will receive the same excellent care.

Our son is in the preschool group and he feels completely at home there. I can say only positive things about the preschool. The transition from Rising 3's was seamless. I like how the team encourages independence in the little ones while still being supportive and caring.

The nursery is extremely caring and responsible. There are lots and lots of activities for the children and parents are kept informed all the time with photos. I am really impressed by the amount of thought and attention to detail that is put into planning the day for the kids. The food is excellent
and balanced. Overall we feel it's very good and could not ask for more!

This nursery provided a great atmosphere for kids. We have a great time here with my daughter. My daughter goes very happily to the nursery, always happy, always smiling. The staff of the nursery are fantastic with kids giving them an opportunity to develop their personalities and express themselves.
They do organise a variety of learning and creativity activities that my daughter adores. Overall, an excellent experience.

We are incredibly happy with the nursery. Our daughter loves coming here and gets on well with all the staff. They are very responsive to anything we have asked (for example specific requests around a recent health issue), and flexible to changes in dates. Nothing but positive things to say!

My son has settled into Kids Planet Woodstock Road from a very early (baby!) age, and it is lovely to see how the environment in each room has evolved and helped shape his development. The expectations have shifted slightly, each time he goes up a room, but he has come on having fun and feeling included.
The staff always pay attention to his individual personality, and set boundaries in a kind and mutually respectful way. We have put a lot of trust in the nursery to navigate his development and keep him safe - thank you!

The nursery is an amazing place. My kid loved going here from day one. Fussy for five minutes in the first two days, but absolutely settled for the rest of the day. The staff made elaborate arrangements for the kids' activities for the day. My kid also seems to love the food here.

I started at Woodstock Road in 2013 as a Nursery Practitioner and have progressed my way up to Nursery Manager. I spent some time managing one of our sister nurseries before going on maternity leave in early 2022. I then returned to Woodstock Road Nursery in late 2022 as the Nursery Manager.


In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and exploring new and authentic places.


I am passionate about providing children with awe-inspiring resources and experiences and finding unique items to add to the rooms to provide a magical environment.

I have been in childcare since 2013 and started my career here at Woodstock Road as a Nursery Nurse. I then progressed to a Room Leader of the baby unit. I worked at Woodstock Road during the Covid lockdown where we were the hub nursery, I then relocated to York for just under two years. I then returned back to Woodstock Road as the Deputy Manager in January 2023. I have many years of experience working with under 2's and love helping families settle into the nursery life.


In my spare time, I enjoy taking care of my nephews, spending time with my friends and swimming.
