Established in 1982, Toddlers-In Nursery School welcomes you to their family run setting, situated in a beautiful location, on the edge of St. Albans, near Verulamium Lakes.

Offering exceptional care and education for children aged 2-5 years old, the nursery offers 2,3 & 4 year old funding for 15 & 30 hours per week, including the new extended funding from April 2024, as well as private places.

The nursery has a long standing, highly qualified and experienced team, including two full time SENCOs, and is a proud holder of the Gold Early Years Quality Standard.

Very good service .staff are very professional and helpful.


I would like to say thank you to all for their help also to look after our children.

My daughter has really enjoyed her time here , the staff are Warm and friendly and made my daughter feel very welcome and comfortable from day one. She has gained a lot of confidence and made lots of friends. She always comes home with loveky things she's been doing and making, overall a lovely experience.

My 3yr old has been attending Toddlers-In Nursery since January and absolutely loves it. The staff were extremely welcoming from the first look around and continue to be ongoing, we are very happy with everything. The little one comes home very happy, we don't have a single concern!
We'd recommend
to anyone!

My daughter loves attending Toddlers In. She settled quickly and has grown so much in confidence. She has made lots of friends and loves all the staff, is always happy to go in and always comes out buzzing having enjoyed all the fun activities. She particularly likes when she gets to play on scooters
and bikes, especially when they have the opportunity to play outdoors. Our experience of the nursery has been 100% positive and I am grateful she is in safe hands and is very happy.

My daughter loves toddlers inn nursery, all the staff are really caring and considerate and she has learnt and progressed so much since joining! My daughter leaves every day with a big smile on her face. The staff go above and beyond for myself and my daughter and I genuinely couldn't recommend a better
nursery for any child to attend too.

Both of my children have attended the nursery, one is currently there now.
Toddlers-in is a welcoming, friendly home from home environment with enrichment and fulfilment for all the children. The team are incredible and care so much about all the kids. I highly recommend them to everyone.


The

only thing that isn't perfect is limited outside space however their caring nature and knowing my child is safe is more important.

I have now sent all three of my children to Toddlers In and would not think to go anywhere else. It is such a warm and fun atmosphere and the staff clearly care so much for the children. The children enjoy so many different activities and I have always appreciated how the staff makes note of each child's
interests and encourages them in that area. It really feels like an extension of family and has been a wonderful start to our family's early years education.

Amazing nursery. They go above and beyond for the children. Always pleasant and polite and keep you informed about your child. My child is always happy when I drop them off and tells me all about there morning. Amazing nursery amazing staff.

I have had a number of years experience with Toddlers-In nursery as both my children have attended there and I truly couldn't be happier with the care & education they have both received. They have only ever come out of nursery delighted about their day and all the fun things they got up to!
The team
are so warm and friendly and you really can tell how much they care about the children.
The recent 'Outstanding' ofsted report is just a small reflection on the wonderful, nurturing atmosphere here. I would recommend this nursery whole heartedly!!

This nursery is fantastic, my little one had not been left with anyone before. They were so reassuring during the settling in period and made both me and my child feel better.


My child has delayed speech but since starting here the speech is he slowly coming. They are very good at working together

with multi-agencies for the progress of the child.


We have regular updates and reviews and discuss how best to work together to assist.


The staff are amazing always go the extra mile, they all dressed up alongside the children for world book day in to make such a magical day for the children.


The activities they do are great, always thinking outside the box and the Christmas show put on with parents able to watch was lovely.

We have used toddlers in for my son and now my daughter. They have both loved the nursery, everyone is so kind and welcoming. You can tell they really care about the children. They do a lot of activities and always updating on the app which we love to see.

My daughter has been attending Toddlers-In for the last year and absolutely loves her time there. The staff are all so warm and welcoming, always greeting her with enthusiasm and a smile on the door in the morning. She comes out after a session and always excitedly tells me about the fun activities
she has done that day. I like that the staff keep parents informed as to what is going on, and the regular updates on Tapestry fill me with confidence that my daughter is happy and thriving there. Thank you to all of the staff for ensuring my daughter is safe and happy whilst in your care. Toddlers-In is a very special place!

We could not be happier with the staff at Toddler's-In; they go above and beyond to ensure our child has an enjoyable, educational and unique experience every time she attends. The level of care she receives is exceptional, and we wholly trust that all staff members look after her and the other children
like they would their own. We will be sending our son when he is of age and would recommend the nursery to any prospective parent.

I was a very nervous mum, I didn't want too send my daughter too any nursery but I new I had too as it would benefit her in the long run specially with her starting reception this year. My daughter has been attending toddlers inn for a couple of months now and wow , what a difference in her behaviour,
her vocabulary her confidence. Not only has her confidence grown but the nursery and staff have helped my confidence as a mother grow too. The staff and headteacher are so welcoming, kind and just genuinely so lovely. My daughter absolutely loves it at toddlers inn and to be honest I know she is going to be heart broken when she starts big school and isn't going to this nursery anymore. If I could rate this nursery more than 5 stars I would. Toddlers in is just an all round amazing nursery. I will be recommending this nursery to anyone I know with young children. Thank you toddlers in for making my daughter so happy and making her feel so welcome.

Incredible, caring staff who are always smiling. They go over and beyond every day, and we're so lucky leave our child with them knowing they'll be looked after by the kindest people. They do the most amazing crafts too! My son is always happy to go in, and have a fun morning playing and learning.

Toddlers In Nursery are absolutely outstanding! The staff are amazing, super friendly and like one big family. My 2 sons both attend the nursery, they are both non verbal and autistic and absolutely love nursery. Their autism means that their learning and behaviour can be difficult but the staff are
phenomenal with them and they both love attending and always leave with smiling faces. All the staff are so supportive and are always helping with any form filling in or supporting me in requesting outside agencies and going above and beyond to make sure my family feels supported. The children that attend are always so happy, they are polite and kind and the staff support them in their understanding of autism and other additional needs. I honestly can't thank the nursery enough for all they have done for me and my sons.

Toddlers-In is a warm and friendly nursery run by a highly experienced, kind and caring team. I was amazed at how quickly the staff got to know my son and this helped him settle in so quickly. He has really thrived at the nursery, growing in confidence, building relationships with teachers and making
friends, and he has loved going in each day. Activities are varied, exciting and engaging - from cooking to experiments, lots of outdoor play and academic activities in preparation for school. A real gem of a nursery, highly recommend it!
