Little Agnes Nursery is the first French & English bilingual nursery in central London.

Opened in July 2021, the nursery offers 55 places for babies and children from 3 months to 5 years old.

The setting offers extended day-care with a bilingual approach for the local families around the Vauxhall area: from Battersea to Oval, Stockwell and Kennington.

Little Agnes Nursery directors are also part of the founding team of other bilingual schools including College Français Bilingue de Londres (Kentish Town) and Lycee International de Londres W Churchill (Wembley).

All staff are highly trained, friendly and welcoming and the children will receive early immersion in French and English by native speakers. The nursery offers a safe and stimulating environment for learning and playing activities and two outings per day are organised.

Little Agnes Nursery benefits from direct access to Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, and two large children playgrounds and even a city farm are just a few minutes’ walk from the setting.         

Healthy meals are prepared in-house for children each day with the use of organic ingredients wherever possible.

Little Agnes is a wonderful nursery and we are so pleased that we chose to send our son here once he turned one. The staff are so warm and welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure the little one's days are filled with playtime, activities, reading, songs. There have also been themed days such as
Lunar New Year, World Book Day, and recent 'spring'exploration with daffodils and little duck toys.
The little ones also go outside every day (often more than once) on an outing, either to the local farm, play park or for a walk along the river.

Great experience with Little Agnes.
Good small nursery with a sense of community. Staff are professional and polite and quickly reply to queries and keep you updated on the child's progress.
My son has come along so much in development in the last 12 months of attendance. As a bilingual family, we
love the setting.

My son recently left Little Agnes as I was no longer able to do drop off/pick up. Had this not been the case, he would've 100% stayed at the nursery for much longer. The staff at Little Agnes are all really passionate about what they do and clearly love the kids at the nursery. My son used to go off
really happy every morning and was always smiling when I picked him up. There's no outside space at the nursery but the kids go out every day to the playground, down along the river or to the farm. The kids eat like kings. Freshly made, balanced meals with a good variety and lots of healthy snacks. There are regular posts on the app about nappies/naps/meals that day plus pics. They have regular parties and events for parents which is really nice. You get a report and a chance to sit down with your kid's key person to talk about their progress which is helpful. Fees are a bit pricey but so, so worth it! Could not rate Little Agnes highly enough.

Absolutely delighted with Little Agnes Nursery! My daughter has been attending for the past year, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff is incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's development. They create a warm and welcoming environment where kids feel
safe and loved.
The curriculum is engaging and diverse, filled with activities that stimulate creativity, curiosity, and learning. My daughter comes home every day excited to share what she learned, from arts and crafts to early literacy and numeracy skills. The outdoor play area is fantastic, providing plenty of opportunities for physical activity and exploration.
Communication with parents is great. We receive regular updates and photos, which keep us informed about our daughter's progress and daily activities.

My daughter has been attending Little Agnes since Feb 2023. She is very happy there. The most important thing to me when I was looking for a nursery was genuinely caring staff in a setting with a homely feel and Little Agnes is exactly this. My daughter loved her time in the baby room and was extremely
fond of her key person, as well as all the baby room staff. She would ask to attend nursery and ask after several of the staff members when she is with me at home. She has recently moved up to the preschool group and has remained very happy. The staff in preschool room are warm, and caring towards the children and I feel at ease knowing my daughter will be happy and thriving here. Little Agnes also has a fabulous in-house chef. Although they don't have their own outdoor space, they go out at least twice a day and there are multiple parks nearby. Keep up all the good work, you are all greatly appreciated!

Wonderful nursery! Very professional and attentive. We really liked the multilingual aspect of the nursery. The staff are all wonderful, the rooms are kept clean and tidy and the whole nursery is well run. Our little baby girl adores her carer and the older children often come and play with her. We
get daily updates on pick-up and also daily photos and other updates via their app. They have an in-house chef so the food is really good. They regularly go to one of the nearby parks and organise little day trips. We get weekly newsletters full of plans for the weeks ahead with lots of group activities. Looking forward to our child's continued attendance until she's ready for big school!

Little Agnes is awesome! My son has been here for almost 3 years and they have prepared him very well for what is to come next. The staff are very professional and seem to both understand and truly care about Early Childhood Development. They encourage curiosity by discussing and sharing ideas in a
warm and nurturing atmosphere. The chef is an integral part of the team and serves up nutritious food. The daily reports are very helpful in arranging a menu and also serve as the basis for dinner conversation. Initially, I was concerned that the nursery did not have their own outside space. Now it's something that I regard as a positive as the team reinvent themselves daily and come up with an astonishing range of activities and challenges for the children rather than just letting them out. So overall, I could not be more complimentary about Little Agnes. I will be forever grateful to the manager and her team for the love and care they have provided to my son and myself.

Our daughter started with Little Agnes when she was 10 months old, she is now 3.5 years old and loves it. She has made a lovely circle of friends who have remained constant. The meals are on the whole organic and nutritious. The staff are fully engaged with the babies and children and all enjoy the
activities, there are regular trips out to the theatre and local places of interest such as the Tate Gallery and Lambeth Garden Museum. The nursery itself is very clean and well-maintained. The staff encourage regular parent interaction through 1:1 meetings and festive occasions. 10/10 from me.

Little Agnes has been fantastic. We initially discovered them on an open day and joined a few months later once we felt our child was old enough. They were very accommodating when we wanted to join.
The app means that we get photos, daily updates on nappies, meals, naps and daily activities - which
are structured by week (you get more info in the weekly memo). It’s very clear that our child is digesting information - as they are coming home with new baby signs, learning how to communicate emotions and more. You also get a little debrief at pickup.
There are also parties which parents are invited to join. All the staff are lovely and the vast majority of the food is homemade.
Probably the biggest testament is that my child has only been going for a few months, and she now takes off her own coat and shoes and walks right past me letting herself into the playroom excited every day.

Our daughter started at Little Agnes just after her first birthday and we immediately felt at ease. From the moment we first entered the nursery, we were deeply impressed. The facility offers a wonderful space to learn and grow. The staff are fantastic! It's apparent that both staff and management truly
care about the children: they are attentive to the needs of the children, are innovative in learning instruction and design, and are so very receptive to children and parents alike.
Although originally anxious about sending our daughter to nursery, Little Agnes made the transition so smooth. The staff allowed us the space to ease our daughter into full-time care (a settling-in period), and we experienced our daughter build trust in her key practitioner. Communication is excellent, we receive regular updates from staff and an online app.
Our daughter is thriving at Little Agnes, and we highly recommend the nursery to any parents.

We love Little Agnes Nursery! The staff and management are wonderful. As a bilingual nursery, they weave French into everyday activities so it’s really easy for the children to learn the language.
The regular outings and range of classes provided by external professionals add an extra layer to the
educational experience.
We are really impressed with how they have prepared our pre-schooler.
Their approach to education is very relaxed so the children don’t realise they are learning. Within six months of starting our son was able to hold a pen correctly, and trace letters/numbers on paper.
His education specialist is fantastic and makes learning so much fun for him every day.
We would highly recommend Little Agnes.

Our son started at Little Agnes when he was 17 months old. It was incredibly important to us for him to have a good settling-in experience, we had originally been due to send him to a nursery nearer to us, but we really didn’t like their settling-in process and immediately decided to find somewhere
else.
Little Agnes Nursery's settling-in experience was far more thoughtful, child-centred and well-paced. It is still tough but he quickly established real trust and a bond with one of the staff, who is wonderful (all the team are).
We hear new words from nursery, English so far, we don’t speak French at home, so that will take time. His eating at Little Agnes is better than at home. Little Agnes has made him more confident and relaxed with other kids. We can see from the photos that he really enjoys the activities, especially the outdoor ones.
The team have been really good to us as a family. The nursery’s culture encourages sharing, respect and a good attitude to food! He is thriving there. Thank you all.

Our daughter has been at Little Agnes Nursery from nine months, and they have taken exceptional care of her. The baby room practitioners have been so helpful and have allowed our daughter the freedom and nurture to explore the world as she knows best (which is to be very independent!). They have allowed
her to do so in a safe way, and we are so pleased they understand her.
The nursery has excellent facilities, is clean and tidy, and the range and number of activities they do each day are brilliant.

Our child had a fantastic time at Little Agnes Nursery where he was surrounded by brilliant and kind educators who took exceptional care of him and provided a first-class educational experience. From the outset, we had a very good impression about the operating standards of this nursery. The owners,
the nursery manager, the baby room manager and our child’s key people were always helpful and attentive to our child. One hugely positive aspect was that we were provided in-person detailed feedback on a daily basis by our child’s key person. This allowed us to understand our child’s developmental trajectory at a crucial time. The bilingual French/English element was brilliant and enabled our son to be immersed in an environment we highly valued. The nursery is really good, they have two separate rooms to separate the kids depending the age. The teachers are lovely and will give you detailed info of the day. As well they have an app where you can see what your baby has done through the day.

The nursery feels like an extension of home and we are so happy to have chosen Little Agnes. Our little boy goes to nursery with a smile, and we immediately saw his development accelerate when he joined.


The reasons we chose Little Agnes:
1. Truly bilingual with native Francophone staff
2. Set

up by parents with backgrounds in education (so, not part of a corporate chain)
3. Lovely premises - clean and new - with easy access to Vauxhall Park and its urban farm.


The additional reasons we now have to love it:
1. Not just bilingual! English and French are the focus, but the team also speaks Spanish, Polish and many other languages
2. The caring staff: It’s not easy to trust strangers with your baby but the team is so caring and all smiles
3. Activities: Science week, book day, cooking, playing with textures, digging for dinosaurs!
4. Communication: newsletters and an app (but without feeling like your child is being “tracked” or the team spends their time logging data)

Finding a nursery can be really daunting, you don't believe anyone can look after your child as well as you can. My daughter has been at Little Agnes for just over three months now and absolutely loves it. It was hard at the beginning as we both missed each other but the staff are so warm, enthusiastic
and affectionate that I think she began feeling like she was at home, only better because she gets to play with other children all day, she's taken to the city farm park round the corner (a luxury in central London!) eats good wholesome food cooked by an Italian chef, speaks French with the ladies and engages in the most amazingly creative activities I could never invent myself! The management are great and keeps us parents informed, and includes us in lots of activities and celebrations. The nursery's app is wonderful - it keeps me updated throughout the day to see what my little one is up to. Needless to say, it makes me smile whilst I'm at work knowing she is having so much fun.

Our manager Patrycja holds a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Studies from Roehampton University.


She has accumulated nearly 10 years of experience in childcare including 5 years at the management level.


Patrycja comes originally from Poland but grew up in Greece and lived for some time in Australia. Thanks to her true multicultural and multilingual background, she speaks fluent Greek and German in addition to her native Polish and of course English. She is a strong believer in the benefits of early immersion in a bilingual environment.


Patrycja has a passion for children’s education, seeing their development, and supporting them throughout the nursery journey. she is convinced that children learn best through play and through using natural resources, loose parts or plays with what they already know, for example- cooking activities, dressing up, learning walks in the park, etc.
