Olea Care Group are successful family owned and managed enterprise who have operated healthcare services in and around Greater Manchester for the past 30 years in 2018 they committed to developing their first 30-place day nursery on the grounds of their flagship service, Fernlea plans to open in 2022.
        
Situated on the grounds of Fernlea, intergenerational work is planned into the service. By engaging with people of all ages and all walks of life, children have excellent opportunities to improve their understanding of the world and experience a wealth of important life experiences by listening to the stories of the older generation. Key studies have shown that interaction with the older generation can also have long term effects on the development of key social skills as children who regularly interact with the elderly have been found to develop a greater level of self-confidence, self-esteem, and empathy for others.

Fernbees aims to provide the highest quality of childcare in an environment that has been designed to promote curiosity, nurture imagination, and encourage children to be accepting, empathetic, and confident through the formation of strong relationships with people of all ages and from all walks of life.

The experience that my granddaughter has had at Fernbees is second to none. The variety of activities and experiences provided as well as intergenerational opportunities are above and beyond any other setting. The staff a friendly and engaging and demonstrate a wealth of knowledge. The management team
are approachable and will answer all questions promptly. I constantly recommend this beautiful nursery to friends and family. Thank you Fernbees.

My little boy started at Fernbees Nursery a few weeks ago and I am over the moon.


The environment is amazing for his learning and development, he does a large variety of activities over the day including lots of outdoor time and use of the interactive station The staff are so lovely and I can already

see my little boy making lovely relationships with them all. The staff have all taken time to get to know him very well.


I can see already he is very happy and content. I look forward to what’s to come.
