Submitted this as 2025 because my boy currently attends but used this nursery since my first born who is now 21. Many of the staff are still the same! I think that says alot about work environment! Not just a couple, i mean most! Have had 3 children now attend here between 2002 and 2025 and i really
wouldn't want my preschool kid anywhere else! He's an absolute handful but they are honest about his behaviour, eating, sleeping etc so we are aware. They massively reward his good behaviour, he loves his stickers and he loves his time there!

My son has been attending the nursery for 2 years now and I don't have any regrets in choosing this setting for him. As full time working parents, it was important for us that he created bonds with the nursery staff. From the early days in the baby room, through to the pre school room, all staff have
nurtured him and supported his development needs. As a first time parent it can feel quite overwhelming leaving your child in a childcare setting, however I have complete peace of mind that my child is well taken care of in my absence. My son enjoys outside time which is encouraged in all weathers! A highlight for him is also mealtimes due to the nursery's wonderful cook who prepares healthy balanced meals with lots of variety. Every week the children also partake in an arranged activity provided by an external company that my son loves to tell me all about when he gets home. The staff at the nursery have played a big part in shaping my sons wonderful character!

I have nothing but good words to say about all the staff and care provided to my children, mainly my son who has been there since September last year. Not only has he started talking since joining this nursery which has been difficult, the nursery has fully supported me in anything for his needs. You
truly are great!

All three of my children have attended the nursery, all settled really well, and very well looked after, all came on in leaps and bounds within a few months of attending, professional caring staff. Excellent meals cannot fault anything.

Kids Planet at Basford is a lovely nursery.
My little girl has been going since she was 6 months old and has thoroughly thrived since attending. They make you feel welcome and keep you updated throughout the day.

My daughter has been coming to this nursery for 3 years and would recommend it to anyone. I also have a niece and nephew who have attended and enjoyed the nursery setting. The staff are all lovely and go above and beyond for parents and the children. Lovely, clean setting and has lovely staff members
throughout. My daughter enjoys attending nursery and talks about staff daily to family members, 5 stars throughout for all areas.

Both of our children have been to this nursery. Our eldest son has left now but when we were pregnant with our second, we immediately knew which nursery she would go to. Some of the staff have been at the nursery for years and it's so lovely to have such familiar faces over the years. Our son loves
coming back to pick his sister up as everybody loves to chat with him. Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and has made such great connections with the staff. We love sending her somewhere we know cares about her to such a great standard. I would always recommend Kids Planet Basford.

Amazing staff. Such a warm environment. The manager and the girls are absolutely lovely and caring. When I started looking for a nursery, I visit a few and didn't feel safe. As soon as I entered there I knew it was the right place. My son adapted fast, soon he was not even crying when we left, and I
could see he is very well treated as he smiled and jumped in his teacher's arms, happy and excited to get inside. He feels safe there and I am so grateful to all the staff for giving me the best time and support since the beginning. Thank you.

Our little girl settled really quickly and enjoys going, despite only being a little over a year. The staff are phenomenal and are super friendly and accomodating to different needs. The play equipment (toys, books etc.) they have is fairly modern and the spaces are warm and inviting for both children
and adults. Staff keep parents up to date often via the app and are generally quite communicative, keeping our peace of mind. Meals given to children are mostly well-rounded and healthy and seem to vary a lot day to day.

We've had a wonderful experience with this nursery! My child has so much fun and feels completely secure in the warm, welcoming environment. My child has attended Kids Planet in Basford since she was 1 and she loves it. She has made friends, her confidence has grown and her speech and language have developed wonderfully. I love that the staff have the best interest of the children and get to know them on an individual basis. Being able to
see what she's done that day and eaten is also very reassuring to me as a parent to see she's having fun.

My daughter started this nursery in January 2024. I was super nervous as it was the first time I had left her with someone other than family. The team at Kids Planet offered such a warm welcome and welcomed my daughter to their little lovely family. Every morning we get full smiles, my daughter loves
going to nursery and she is thriving! The app is fab that they use so you can keep connected on what your child is up to in the day and what they are having for meals. The girls are fantastic at what they do and they generally love the little people they care for like they are their own children. I couldn't be happier with the nursery. Keep doing what you're doing girls as you are all fabulous!

Our little boy has been attending Kids Planet Basford since August, just before he turned 11 months old. I felt immediately at ease with the staff here and the three gentle settling in sessions were brilliant. Meal times, naps and nappy change updates are available via an app along with occasional photo
updates on nursery activities.
What stands out to me is how dedicated each member of the team is to each child. My son is always so excited to be dropped off in the morning, which sets us all up for the day knowing how happy he is. It is situated on a busy residential road, but there's always safe parking spots available. I would highly recommend Kids Planet Basford!
