Proudly located in the heart of Cambridge, the nursery is well situated to serve the families of this great area. Monkey Puzzle offers exceptional childcare from this specially-equipped nursery that provides that home from home feel, with each room being equipped especially for the children.

They are open 7:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks per year, providing you with the reliability that you need.

Our two girls started going to Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Marleigh from April 2024 onwards and they absolutely love being there. The staff both in baby room and toddler room are caring, knowledgeable and very loving. They keep us up to date with our child's progress and they do listen and accommodate
our needs. We look forward to the observations, their learning and the assessments we get from the staff - it tells you the staff knows your children so well. The girls love all the different activities they do - specially singing and dancing and it's great as parents to see such developmental leaps since they've joined the nursery. Lastly the on site chef is amazing, prepares nutritious food and has catered to our dietary requirements well. Thank you to all the staff and the management for taking such good care of our girls, I can't recommend the nursery enough!

Hello. This is the best place for children. The staff are friendly and will always find a way to the heart of a little person. Lots of educational activities, games, reading books and fun dances. We couldn't be happier with the care and attention our son receives at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and reassured that our little one was in the best hands. The whole team are amazing.
A special thank you to two members of staff in particular,
who go above and beyond every day. One member of staff has a remarkable bond with my child. His enthusiasm and dedication truly evident.
Another member of staff is equally wonderful, with her kind and nurturing approach. She has an incredible way of making my child feel seen and valued, and her patience and warmth are unmatched.

Outstanding early years education experience at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Cambridge, Marleigh. It has been an amazing choice for our 7-month-old daughter. The staff are warm, professional and attentive, ensuring each child feels valued and cared for. The clean, safe facilities are thoughtfully designed
with age-appropriate toys and sensory materials that support development. Our daughter loves the engaging activities like sensory play and music sessions, which have helped her thrive.
We're especially impressed with the daily updates, including photos and notes on her activities and milestones, which keep us connected and reassured.

Our daughter has been attending for over 6 months to the baby room and we are so happy with the care and service provided by the nursery. They were wonderful at helping her settle in and all staff are so caring and loving of the children. She loves the different activities, particularly singing and
dancing, and we like getting a report on how her development is going and new skills she is acquiring. The chef on-site is great and she gets to taste so many different foods, which we are really happy about. We highly recommend it!

Lovely setting with very dedicated staff! They have been brilliant at helping my daughter settle when she started a year ago, with a good number of settling-in sessions that involved both stay-in sessions for parents and leaving her for a couple of hours. The transition was seamless for her. Since she
started, she made leaps in her development, language and social skills. Great set of activities and they spend loads of time outdoors. The staff are lovely and very attentive to her needs. Management is great and very good at communicating everything! The on-site chef is brilliant and the food range is super healthy and delicious! Cannot recommend this nursery enough!

We have two children attend Monkey Puzzle Marleigh and cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are nurturing, creative and professional and it is clear that they really know our children well. Our preschooler is full of positive energy at the end of every day and our baby has had all the cuddles
he needs as he settles in. Special things of note include Monkeynastics, a gymnastics session every Monday that my preschooler adores. Every day has outside play time and the rooms are designed to free flow to the garden. The curriculum is engaging and individually personalised. Last but not least, the chef is a genius - the menu is balanced, varied, fresh and tasty. Whoever can get my plain pasta-eating kid into fruit, veg and second helpings of lunch and tea is doing something right!

Our two boys have been attending Monkey Puzzle Marleigh for over 18 months and we could not recommend the nursery enough. They have both developed so much and absolutely love attending and seeing their friends and the staff who are brilliant. Communication between parents and the nursery staff is very

Both my children love going to Monkey Puzzle Marleigh. We are so pleased with Monkey Puzzle Marleigh. I feel that my child is in safe hands and I think for a parent that says it all. All the staff are amazing, very knowledgeable, caring, and loving people. They keep us up to date with our child's progress and they do listen and accommodate our needs as
soon as possible after careful discussions and thinking. The nursery is clean, tidy, and full of fun. They do so many creative and well-thought-out activities. Our child adores the staff and they love him too. When we sent him to the nursery, I was so nervous as a new mum, but now I feel so relaxed knowing that he is in safe hands and he has been developing so nicely in a happy environment full of lovely little ones and caring adults. Our son has been going to the Monkey Puzzle Nursery, Marleigh for the past few months. The motivation and encouragement he receives from the staff everyday has helped him to settle down confidently. The food that he eats everyday is exceptional. It makes us happy as parents when we see that he has
tried something new or has eaten most parts of his meal. We have also seen changes in the way he does things which might likely be due to the daily routines he follows at the nursery or by watching his peers. Communication has always been seamless verbally and via the app. As parents we are very content with the child led learning atmosphere at Monkey Puzzle.

We love our nursery! It’s a beautiful setting with so much natural light and free flow between outside and inside. My 1 year old daughter is so happy coming into nursery and loves the staff! I trust them completely and can go to work knowing that my daughter is loved and cared for. I love coming into
the baby room to collect her and see where she plays and what she’s been learning. When she’s been poorly or had a bump the staff have been amazing taking care of her and keeping us informed. The chef is amazing and I love seeing what she’s eating at nursery for new meal ideas at home. I can’t recommend them highly enough, wonderful team of professionals!

Lovely, friendly staff, receptive, communicative. My son loves going to the nursery and joyfully walks in independently in the morning, something I wouldn’t expect if he wasn’t given the diligent attention the nursery offers. The chef caters an amazing food menu for the children.

My children have attended Marleigh Monkey Puzzle for 10 months now and I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Both my children have come on leaps and bounds and their vocabulary, numeracy and communication has improved dramatically since attending this setting. The staff are extremely caring

Every day our daughter leaves nursery happy and energised. She moved from another nursery, aged 15 months, and she settled really well. The meals are nutritious and varied and the sleeping environment is spacious and comfortable, so we have peace of mind that she is eating well and getting good rest.
Every week the staff plan interesting, engaging activities and the open inside/outside layout is fantastic. We could not be happier with the nursery.

My child has been attending Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Cambridge, Marleigh for seven months now and I have had nothing but a positive experience. My child loves to attend and always talks about his day and what he did with certain members of staff. His learning is far beyond what I would have expected
for his age and I put this down to the care, attention and patience he receives in the setting. The nursery also provides a variety of nutritional food which has also helped with my child's eating habits. The staff are always polite and friendly and will tell me about his day, as well as providing regular observation updates through the app. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend Monkey Puzzle Marleigh.

Job Title: Nursery Director

My name is Thulie and I am a mother to three beautiful children. I spent a considerable amount of time in Sweden and I was very impressed by their take on nursery and pre-school learning, which focuses on child-led learning and creativity, in addition to using the outdoors to encourage exploratory learning. I believe this helps the children at this tender age to develop in leaps and bounds, compared to their peers who are not actively exploring and utilising the natural spaces around them.

I have worked in the City specialising in Finance roles, within multinational companies. Prior to that I worked and managed settings in Social Care, supporting young adults with Autism and Learning Difficulties. The experience I gained in this sector has given me a solid understanding of the importance of Safeguarding, Health and Safety and Compliance within a setting as well as providing a caring and stimulating environment for the people we care for every day.

My promise to parents, who choose to entrust us with their children, is that I will personally work with our very experienced manager and team to create a home from home environment for their children and can be confident that their children are getting the best care, cuddles and comfort.

My name is Karen and I am the Manager of the Marleigh nursery.

My passion for working with children began when I had my own amazing family and I found myself looking at the world through their eyes and seeing how their personalities and interests developed with their experiences. I moved from my career in finance to specialise in the Early Years childcare sector working at a preschool and primary school whilst supporting children with autism and SEND until finally joining the senior management team at Monkey Puzzle Cambridge 3 1/2 years ago as a Deputy Manager.

I am supported by an incredible team of educators who use their skills and care to nurture the children at Marleigh. This includes planning for their next steps and development, using activities and resources to inspire awe and wonder in their learning, and most importantly, giving the best cuddles if needed. I am proud to say that my deputy, Louise, was recently a finalist for the Nursery NMT Top Practitioner award. Another important member of our Marleigh family is our talented chef, who keeps the children safe and healthy every day, using the freshest ingredients to produce tasty and nutritious meals.
We also love to share the nursery with our parents and welcome them to our open events, which are filled with activities and celebrations.
