Little Dragon’s Day Nursery is an OUTSTANDING (read their Ofsted report, November 2023), state-of-the-art, family-run childcare setting located in the picturesque village of Snitterfield. Little Dragon’s is an inspirational early years setting that has been specially designed to create a superb enabling environment.

At Little Dragon’s Day Nursery, the team strongly believe that when children are allowed to select where, with what and how to play, they are truly invested in their learning, become deeply involved and therefore make dramatic progress (after all, a child’s play is seriously important business!). They strive to ensure that the children in their care are happy and immersed in their surroundings, and in doing so, the children are constantly demonstrating all the skills required to succeed - concentration, creativity, energy and persistence! Through Little Dragon's creative and ‘down to earth’ take on the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, children experience diverse and spontaneous child-led activities supported by skilful practitioners that promote early years goals.

At Little Dragon’s, all children are happy and flourish. They encourage and develop lively, enquiring minds and children ascertain a zest for life-long learning. The team does this by enriching children's early years experiences and fulfilling every child’s innate desire to explore and learn. They provide a truly ‘child-focused’ enabling environment that ensures all children are fully immersed in high-quality, purposeful play and are happy, learning and developing at all times. The team are highly qualified and have an excellent understanding of child development. Having had my last little one by surprise I have been holding off sending him to nursery, mostly because it's really hard to find a nursery that ticks all the boxes and where you feel confident leaving them.
The moment I walked through the door of Littles Dragon's Day Nursery for our initial show round
I instantly knew it was the right place, here is why: Lovely clean, warm, inviting environment. Lots of outside space, even for the babies! Freshly cooked food onsite, all of which is varied and well balanced. The staff are caring, experienced, friendly, and very professional. The values and attitude towards the individual child's learning journey are by far the best I have ever experienced (on my 3rd and last!) I look forward to seeing the progress of his journey with Little Dragons.
My little one is so settled and so very happy which means I do not even think twice when leaving him, I know he is safe and secure in the very best of hands.

As a grandparent, you can often feel pushed out, especially when collecting your grandchild from the nursery setting. However after my son and daughter-in-law chose Little Dragons as my grandson's nursery, I have never felt so welcome. The staff are so attentive and will often help me if needed. All
the children seem happy and calm whenever I arrive. The nursery is well established, clean, and organised well.

Since Little Dragons opened I can not begin to describe how happy I am as a mummy sending my little one to such a wonderful family driven beautiful nursery that clearly have the passion for childcare. My little one went to a nursery prior to this but we wanted one closer to our home, when I saw Little
Dragons had opened I was still very worried about whether my little one would settle! How wrong was I! The way in which the staff do things is incredible they are so attentive and caring towards both the children and worried parents! I could not be happier.

I cannot praise Little Dragons Day Nursery enough – the facilities are truly amazing! My granddaughter has been here since they opened, and she gets so excited to attend each day. The staff are very caring, helpful and so knowledgeable. We love the newsletters and photos via the famly app. It’s great
to see what my granddaughter has been up to in such a beautiful nursery and fantastic outdoor area. For anyone looking for a nursery then I highly recommend!

I honestly couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. My daughter is always so excited to go and I have no concerns when she is there, knowing she is fully looked after and loved. They have proven, especially over the last month just how much her best interests are at heart. It’s such a family atmosphere,
along with an open and honest communication system. The meals they provide are also amazing, it impresses me daily. I’ve also had to increase hours over the past week and this has been dealt with smoothly and quickly! Absolutely no negatives!

My two children have been going to Little Dragon's since they first opened. We couldn’t be happier! The staff are incredible, always go above and beyond, always positive and accommodating. The kids always love going into nursery and they do so many different activities every week. Facilities are brilliant,
everything is brand new, always clean and well looked after.

Genuinely can not recommend Little Dragons enough. From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel so comfortable and knew confidently we were making the right decision sending our daughter here.
The staff have all made the effort to learn her name even though she is not in most of
their rooms.
Their devotion to high-quality education is second to none. It is so clear that everyone has such a high understanding of child development and I don’t feel anything would be too much to make a child in their care feel comfortable and thrive.
Little Dragons make being a working mum much easier!

Supporting and inspiring children to be the best that they can be is really important to Kerri, she always strives to build positive relationships with children so their unique and individual needs are met. Kerri is passionate in making sure that children develop a real love of learning, that will take them through their school years and beyond.

Kate has always been passionate about working with children and has thoroughly enjoyed flourishing into a proficient practitioner from Early Years Foundation Stage through to the end of Primary School, having gained her Qualified Teacher Status back in 2008.
Kate has enjoyed understanding the ‘learning journey’ that children embark on, and is particularly passionate about their early years experiences.
Since becoming a mum to her 3 children, the world of early childhood development has been a journey that she has experienced first-hand and one in which she has absolutely loved being immersed in. Kate finds early childhood development extremely fascinating, and gets an immense amount of reward and job satisfaction when working with children. Providing children with ‘awe and wonder’ learning opportunities is what inspires Kates interactions, she achieves this through knowing the children in her care, and being able to spot those magical moments where you can make a difference and enhance children's learning. Giving children the opportunity to learn in a meaningful context is something that Kate feels strongly about. She takes pride in creating a learning environment that is rich with opportunities that ‘spark’ that innate desire for children to explore and learn.
