My name is Wendy. I am a dedicated mother of three sons and a qualified Nursery Nurse. I have worked in the NHS for over 20 years and have extensive experience working in a special care baby unit at the maternity ward in Hemel Hempstead Hospital.

During my time as a new Mother I worked in a local Primary School as a Teaching Assistant, where I helped with creative tasks and early literacy skills with children of all ages.

I very much enjoy working with children and particularly appreciate the importance of a stable and nurturing environment for the positive development of babies to young children.

I’m Claudia, from Naples in Italy, a place where the sun always shines. I moved to England 6 years ago in pursuit of a career in education.

I graduated in Foreign Languages at the University “L’Orientale” of Naples. I am a CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) qualified teacher and Cambridge Speaking Examiner for young learners, I taught English to Italian children for 6 years. I loved studying towards my Level 5 qualification as I learned leadership is not being in charge, it is looking after the people in charge

I really trust in our children’s capabilities and in the principle of positive reinforcement. All of us can learn more effectively when encouraged and supported with a smile. I’m a very kinaesthetic person, full of energy, always ready to run around and sing along with anyone who dares to follow me. My secret? Just some fairy dust!

Hi, I’m Kathrin from Germany! I moved to England 5 years ago to broaden my horizons. I used to work in nurseries and primary schools in Germany and I also ran a club themed around life in the Middle Ages in Bavaria!

I have lots of hobbies like painting, travelling, languages and reading. I also enjoy exploring nature and history as well as finding ways to help children explore these areas and develop skills themselves.

When making activities for children, I believe that patience and role modelling with friendship and enthusiasm are important. It’s truly wonderful to see how well children can engage and learn. I look forward to sharing my passion with them and teaching what I can, in as many fun ways as I can think of!

My name is Andreia. I was born in Lisbon, Portugal. I lived in London for 7 years before moving to Brazil where I spent over 4 years. Once back to London, almost 8 years ago to be closer to my family where I recharged my energies, I found MP Family. They truly caught my passion for childcare. I started as a deputy room leader but grew into a room leader position within a couple of weeks. Now my opportunity came as an assistant manager where I am confident that all my experience and knowledge will support not only the children that attend this nursery but also be an essential part of this growing rich childcare environment.

I have always been surrounded by children as I have 5 sisters myself. So, having only one child of mine was almost a nightmare! I am now a mother of 3 (13, 3 and 1yr old). Definitely, I am growing my very own big family. I have enjoyed many different areas of childcare including being an English teacher in Brazil over the time I lived there, a nursery setting SENCo for almost 3 years, running my own afterschool scheme and holiday club for almost 4 years, and coordinating holiday camps back home. I enjoy having the opportunity to see and teach the uniqueness of each child, to laugh on a daily basis, and to be a source for someone’s success.

I have always lived in London and I feel working with children is fantastic because of the progression that you can enable. Helping children to learn while playing is an incredibly positive and uplifting experience. As a hobby I enjoy cooking, swimming, and walking, I also like gardening and fashion. I like working with children because they brighten your day up and make me smile. I find it fascinating how they all have different character traits. I like helping children to learn. I believe playing, exploring and being creative is the best way to teach young children.

Hi, I am Lara and I’m so excited to join the Monkey Puzzle family! I recently completed my degree in Early Years and Childhood Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University. Over the last few years, I’ve had a wide variety of experiences as a Nursery Assistant, Play Specialist Team Assistant and Team Leader. Following my graduation, I also worked as an Operations Assistant and Business Administrator in various nurseries. I really enjoy working with different nursery teams to get the best for the children in our care.

I love spending time in a city where there are plenty of opportunities to meet new people. I also am looking forward to starting cheerleading in London as I enjoyed cheerleading during University.

Supporting children to grow and learn, and watching their curiosity develop as they work their way through their milestones is my passion.

Hi, I’m Olivia from London! I’m a true Londoner, I have spent all my life in England and I’m excited to continue my experience with my new adventure in childcare with Monkey Puzzle Angel! I love holidays and going away, I have been so lucky to be able to go to amazing places, such as Turkey, Cyprus and Tenerife.

I love riding my bike with my friends while enjoying the fresh air. Another hobby that I love is drawing, I am very creative, and you will be able to see it in the room. I love working with children, it makes me feel very happy seeing them grow and learn with funny and interesting activities.
