Blossoms Day Nursery is a purpose built setting, based within the village of Hambleton, providing childcare for children aged 0-5 years old.

The nursery operates from four rooms; a baby room, an infant room, a toddler room and a pre-school room. Each room consists of pathways for children to browse their environment at their own leisure. Rooms are carefully designed to ensure that when a child is browsing their environment, they are still learning within every area of the room.

The nursery adopt the Reggio Emilia approach in their practice. The Reggio Emilia belief is that all children are capable, creative and intelligent. At Blossoms, practitioners work with the child as an active collaborator, both adult and child learning together. They encourage children to investigate and explore their own questions, theories and ideas about what is happening in the world around them. They support their investigations into these questions through creativity, allowing children to lead and develop their own pieces of work.

Blossoms Day Nursery promote learning outdoors as it develops the children’s relationship with nature, and also include resources that are as natural as possible for learning whilst indoors. The children are supported in their creative ideas, and they believe no idea is wrong. Staff study and learn from the children and extend their ideas to see where it leads.

Lovely nursery. Staff always give a lovely greeting when you start the day and my child loves it there. They do so much and learn so much! The app is updated throughout the day so you know what your child is doing day to day.

Our daughter has been to Blossoms Day Nursery since 9 months old and has settled so well and I cannot recommend them enough! The staff are so caring and nurturing, you always get a warm welcome every time you visit and my daughter's progress has come on leaps and bounds with her speech and confidence.

The nursery goes above and beyond for my daughter. She loves the staff and she has come on leaps and bounds.
They do amazing activities constantly and they learn French in preschool. This year they held a carol concert for all preschool which was beautiful!

The care the staff at the nursery provide for my child is exceptional. They have all been so supportive to my daughter as she has experienced a time of big change in her life, the birth of her new sibling. I feel that all the staff have an excellent knowledge of my child and plan appropriate activities
to further her development. Most importantly, she absolutely loves coming to nursery and looks forward to her nursery days every week.

Our 18-month-old son has been at Blossoms Day Nursery for seven months and it has been a wonderful experience for us all. I was really anxious about sending him to nursery but the staff have been amazing. He absolutely loves going and all the staff. I've always been really impressed by how well the
staff know each of the children, how well thought out everything is (e.g. "high" chairs which are actually little so the babies have their feet on the floor) and that the staff really understand how big of a deal it is to trust others with your baby. I can't imagine sending him anywhere else!

My son currently attends this setting and I couldn't be happier with the care he receives.
Like most, I was incredibly nervous for my child to start nursery when my maternity leave finished but all my fears were quickly quashed when he started Blossoms Day Nursery.
The staff are outstanding. Every
member of management knows him by name, every member of staff in his room (both current and former) have really taken the time to get to know him and we have found both his key workers brilliant.
My son has benefited so much from attending - with weaning, cruising, walking, learning actions to songs and now with his talking too. The setting has great facilities, ample age-appropriate toys and regular one-off activities. They advocate time outside and everything in the room is on the children's level so they have the freedom to choose. The app keeps parents informed on key activities, nappy changes, naps and food intake and staff are always happy to chat about the day too.
We would highly recommend Blossoms.

Such a lovely nursery. My son loves going, he loves the staff and has made good friends with the other children. Staff are very attentive and always have lovely stories to tell at pick-up. The Blossoms Day Nursery app is great as I get updates throughout the day as well as reports, golden moments and
newsletters/updates through it. The children regularly have exciting and new things to do, whether that's someone coming in to do a session with them or new experiences linked to national events, it's great to see so much variety in their day-to-day. As the children progress through, their independence and sense of self is really nurtured with things like lunch monitors and a student council.

Our 10-month-old has been at Blossoms in Hambleton since January 2024. His staff are fantastic and we have not once felt uncomfortable leaving him there. He comes back covered in food with a smile on his face; and 95% of the time we drop him off with no tears (Can't ask for 100%!) Very happy with these

My son has been coming for around 1 year and a half. I could not fault the facilities or the staff. The key workers have been brilliant at communicating and making myself and my son welcome. They focus on the unique child by purchasing additional resources to ensure his learning is challenged. They
have all gone above and beyond in their role to ensure he has his full needs met and more. The managers have been exceptional in ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and ensuring strong parental communication links. They are an exceptional nursery and my son has come on leaps and bounds in their care.

Our eldest daughter attended Blossoms from the baby room through to pre-school. We had no hesitation in sending our second daughter and we cannot recommend Blossoms highly enough! Blossoms is a happy, fun and caring environment and staff are always smiling. Activities are really creative in all the
rooms and there is a wonderful outdoor area! Any queries are responded to very quickly. Our eldest daughter now at school, loves returning to Blossoms to help pick up her sister and seeing the staff who cared for her and she always receives a lovely welcome. Thank you to everyone at Blossoms!
