N Family Club in Hackney Downs is located in a beautiful listed building. The property has been sensitively refurbished so that the nursery is filled with character while equally purpose-built to support all aspects of the bespoke N curriculum. There is a specialist room which acts as both an art studio and children’s kitchen featuring state-of-the-art equipment. While outside, the enormous 8,000 sqft garden is packed full of features including a sandpit, mud kitchen, adventure playground and slide.

N has worked with the former Head of Nutrition at Jamie Oliver, Laura Matthews, to make sure that the balanced, nutritious menu supports every child’s developmental needs. The chefs prepare fresh meals in the nursery's café kitchen every day.

In 2023, Nursery World named N Family Club the UK's highest-quality nursery group by. With the help of leading experts, they designed their own unique approach to early years education. Their bespoke curriculum is designed to be unique to each child based on their development, needs and interests. The curriculum is delivered through play-based experiences, supported by educated educators. N invest in their team, supporting them in their own learning and development via their in-house training programme, in order to provide the best possible learning environment for the children at N.

We couldn’t be happier with Hackney Downs N Family Club Nursery. The nursery itself is a little kid's wonderland offering loads of space, including a lovely big outdoor space to go on daily adventures. They do lots of crafts, music, cooking, reading and play. They have an incredible in-house chef that
produces the most amazing meals such as beetroot falafel with vegetable couscous and mint yoghurt dip. The staff are wonderful and attentive, they feel like an extended part of our family. We couldn’t recommend them more!

Wonderful staff who are warm, kind and caring.
The facilities are great and the activities that we see them getting up to are lovely.
We get lots of updates through the app and love seeing the pictures of all the little ones having a lovely time.
We are so happy with the nursery and our son is thriving.

We couldn’t be happier, from the behind-the-scenes to the teachers and TAs and lunch ladies and absolutely everybody has been lovely, accommodating and above all very caring. It is easy to see how much love and care for children they have and the passion everybody has for their jobs and therefore how
much effort they put in.
The peace of mind I have when my baby is dropped off there is priceless, I can walk and go back to work with the absolute certainty my baby is loved, cared for and safe in a perfect environment for her development not just educational but also emotional.


Seriously the best decision we made was starting her at N Family Club.
