The Review Score of 8.5 (8.542) out of 10 for Little Forest Folk Morden is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.
a) The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 2 Reviews in the last 24 months.
b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.5 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.
The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
The Average Rating of 5.000 for Little Forest Folk Morden is calculated as follows: ( (24 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 24 Ratings = 5
b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').
The 3.542 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Little Forest Folk Morden is based on 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:
The 5 points available are broken down as follows:
i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 = 3.125
ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 24 number of registered child places is 4.8. 2 Positive Reviews ÷ 4.8 = 0.417
When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Growing up in the vibrant surroundings of Delhi, Sunarika always had a deep love for learning and exploring the world around her. This passion for education and discovery led her to pursue a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Delhi, followed by a Master's in Early Childhood Education from the University of Hertfordshire.
Sunarika began her career as a Primary Teacher at Krims Lotus Veda, where she taught various subjects, including maths, language arts, science, and social studies, to young learners. Her early experiences in the classroom fuelled her dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for children. Over the years, she has taken on diverse roles, including teaching English at St. Xavier's Senior Secondary School and serving as a French teacher at 21K School. These experiences have deepened her understanding of the importance of adapting teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each child.
Sunarika is a strong advocate for the benefits of forest nurseries. She believes that immersing children in nature from a young age fosters resilience, creativity, and a deep sense of curiosity about the world. Exposure to the natural environment encourages children to explore, take risks, and develop a connection to the earth, all vital for their overall development. In her view, forest nurseries provide children with invaluable experiences that cannot be replicated in traditional classroom settings, making them an essential part of early childhood education. Sunarika is passionate about creating these enriching experiences for young learners, ensuring they have the best possible start in life.

Growing up near Epping Forest Mignon loved playing in between the trees with friends, foraging blackberries and going for bike rides and picnics with her family in the woods. After graduating from the University of Sussex in 2012 she started working on the Brighton and Hove City Council Playbus as a Play Worker doing outreach work across the city.
More recently Mignon has been a member of the Woodland Tribe crew where she has been involved in lots of exciting adventure playground building projects including the build in the Tate Modern’s turbine hall and at the Brighton Fringe Festival. In 2020 she completed her primary PGCE with Goldsmiths University of London with a specialism in Children’s Literature and has had a great time working in different schools across South West London and Surrey as a Primary School Supply Teacher. Having seen the benefits of attending LFF in her own son Mignon believes that all children have the right to play and that access to nature and the outdoors in the early years gives children the best start in life.
