Absolutely marvellous nursery! I cannot fault it! They have been so hands-on in helping our little boy develop and have been fundamental in him achieving milestones. They go on exciting trips regularly and I'm just thrilled my son has had these experiences at such a young age. They are also very loving
and thoughtful towards him. The only thing is the preschool room is not that large for our bouncy boy but like I say they do go out a lot and they have a nice outdoor space.

Our daughter has been with Maryam's now for coming up to 8 months, we are very happy with the quality of care and education she is receiving. She continues to impress us with new words and skills she has learnt when she comes home.
I appreciate the attention to detail when it comes to the security
and safety of the babies and toddlers.

The nursery staff are excellent, they give you a personal handover about their day on every collection and keep you updated on the app throughout the day.
They are easy to contact if you need them. The menu for the children is great and very healthy. There is a weekly outings chart which is great as
they try to get them out every day and with them being so close to the river, the Tate Museum and lots of parks so there are lots of options.
There is only a small outdoor area but this is the case for most nurseries around the area. It is clean and if they do get a case of illness in a room they will do a deep clean of the room ASAP.

Our child has been at Maryam's for 4 months now and we are quite happy with the decision we made. Maryam's stood out amongst the others when we toured nurseries in the area and continues to stand out when we hear stories from other parents as to their own experiences elsewhere. The staff at Maryam's
seems to really care for and enjoy being around the children. Additionally, the food menu is superb, there are plenty of activities and overall our child seems to have a really good time.

Our daughter has been attending Maryams for over a year now and we are very happy with the nursery. Her teachers in particular are amazing and we love knowing that we are leaving our daughter with them for the day, as she enjoys being with them so much. Our daughter also has Coeliac disease and is dairy
intolerant and this is never an issue for the nursery, she is well-fed and catered for. The cost of the nursery is on the more expensive side compared to other nurseries in central London and is run like a business, but we are happy overall - especially with the teachers.

My child has settled into Maryams with ease, the staff do so much to entertain the little ones that I simply would never get around to at home, I adore seeing how much fun they get up to together. The staff take looking after so many different babies in their stride and I look forward to seeing them
every day to hear about what fun my child has had. Having new and interesting faculties is exactly what you want for your children when you're not around to look after them yourself.
Home-cooked food, made on-site daily, with diversity and nutrition at its core is also the icing on the cake. I feel happy and secure knowing my child is supported and cared for in the best way possible.

I would really recommend Maryams to any parent in the area - our daughter has been going since she was nine months old (a year ago) and the standard of care and attentiveness of the staff is fantastic. Our daughter loves going and has clearly had a really special bond with the women staffing the baby
and pre-toddler rooms, which has really helped her settle and move between different stages of the nursery.
Being in zone 1 the nursery is obviously space-constrained, which the staff really make up for with how they use the garden and the quality/frequency of trips to local playgrounds, libraries and other settings as the children get older. We couldn't ask for a better nursery!

My daughter started at Maryam's in February 2023 and she enjoyed her time in the nursery and felt supported ever since.
The team nurtures a welcoming and playful environment. A lot of theme activities have been organised over the years. The staff and the management are great and always available when
needed.

I am so happy with Maryam's on Great Guildford Street. My child has been going for just over a year since she was 8 months old, and she loves it. She starts dancing with excitement as we approach and barely says goodbye as she runs in each morning! She has learned a lot, including skills I did not think
were possible at her age (counting, turn-taking, hand washing). She also seems to enjoy the varied food on offer. More importantly, the care and attention she gets are obvious, and I feel confident about how safe and supported she is there. I think the communication is great and the staff are all warm and professional whilst being affectionate and authentic with the children. I also appreciate that she gets to do messy play there, instead of at home! It is slightly more expensive than some competitors, but this is clearly used to provide a great experience for the children.

Maryam's Nursery has been fantastic for our son. The diverse staff and inclusive culture create a warm and welcoming environment. The food menu is fresh and nutritious, and the activities are both fun and educational. Transitions between rooms were smooth, and our son has always been very happy here.
The staff is always available, listens to parents, and takes feedback seriously. Developmental updates are provided regularly, and we believe Maryam has uniquely contributed to our child's growth. Maryam's provided a truly exceptional nursery experience. A warm thank you to its amazing staff. We'll miss you all.

Maryam's Nursery is hands down the best daycare for any child. The staff is lovely and really hands-on with babies/children's development. The children have plenty of different activities (painting, dough making, story reading) and they also enjoy the best food. My baby just loves going there, which
is so reassuring and makes me really happy as a parent. Maryam's Nursery is highly recommended.

The team are very helpful and our son loves it at Maryam's.

I have been sending my child for almost eight months now and super satisfied with the assurance that the nursery's carer and management give to me and my husband as parents.
They were accommodative during our early days to get my child acclimatised to being sent to a nursery. They were loving and
caring for each child. The carers seem to even remember each child's name and make the reception time so personalised.
The carers and management are usually quick to reply to any questions we have and share any important news as quickly as they can with full guidelines and clear action to take.

As soon as I put my daughter into Maryam’s, I knew she was in the right place. Not only do I believe she is safe, happy and well looked after there, but they truly understand her personality as it grows. The activities, the meals and the extracurricular sessions feel very well-rounded, fun and nurturing.
The full team are always in a great mood at drop-off and pick-up. Recently, the communications with parents have improved too, and I can see that further improvements will benefit both children and parents. Extremely happy with Maryam’s and recommend it to a lot of local parents.

Both of my children attend this nursery and it is truly fantastic. There isn't a comparative nursery in this area.


The menus are varied with nutritious food from around the world.


The staff are welcoming and friendly and there is a range of activities for the children to participate in, from language

to sports.


Completely happy with this nursery and highly recommend.

Job Title: Owner & Director

Azi Alamani is the owner and director of Maryam’s Nursery and has worked in early years care for over 10 years. Having grown up amongst the children her mother cared for, Azi experienced Maryam’s passion and dedication first-hand.


After completing a degree she decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps and took over the family business. Azi’s dedication and commitment to the children in our nurseries are immeasurable.
