Every day at Craigclowan Nursery brings a new adventure. The experienced, committed and caring staff make learning fun, with a healthy balance between free play and a more teacher-directed, structured approach to learning through play. They value children’s input in planning activities. This engenders curiosity within each child and promote opportunities for every child to explore, progress and flourish at their own pace.
The aims and ethos of Craigclowan nursery are to:

Days at Craigclowan nursery consist of a mixture of teacher-directed activities, free flow play, structured play, outdoor activities and art and craft sessions.
Children spend time in the Gym Hall on a daily basis. There they can use the equipment and apparatus to get plenty of exercise. They have Forest Adventure sessions in the amazing forest within the school grounds. Children also take part in specialist teaching lessons in Gym, Music and French with the Heads of these various departments. Older children have the opportunity to do blocks of swimming lessons and weekly biking skills.
