Victoria Park Kindergarten is situated in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow. It is registered to provide care to a maximum of 42 children. Both my children have attended Victoria Park Kindergarten. It is a fantastic nursery with engaged and welcoming staff. They make a huge effort to get to know children as individuals and the strong relationships they build with parents and young people are excellent.
Victoria Park Kindergarten has
provided both of our children with a strong foundation for developing in education and as people.

I have two children currently attending Victoria Park Kindergarten and am so happy with the care they receive. The team are caring and kind, they are approachable and responsive when we have questions or the kids have a change in their care needs and they are fun!
One of my kids is particularly shy
and struggles with transitions, she has been supported throughout and thrives in nursery as a result.

I have sent both my boys to the nursery and am very happy with their care. The staff show great relationships and understanding of both boys' needs and everyone within the setting is friendly and welcoming. Any correspondence has been dealt with quickly and efficiently. The range of activities is excellent
and being able to view these on the social media page is great. It would be nice if the weekly plans could be shared digitally since this would allow for discussions to be had at home as well.
In the younger rooms, daily feedback forms are provided which is great but is there a way this could be done digitally (perhaps on an app) as I feel at handover the ladies simply read the paper and then it's handed over. Having a digital app would save on paper and would allow handover to be more focused on the child and the activities they took part in.
Having the staff photos displayed outside the rooms and in reception is a great way of getting to know who is looking after the boys.

The staff at Victoria Park Kindergarten have been wonderful with us and our daughter. Our wee one started at just nine months and the care and support offered her from the start has been incredible. She is so happy and her development has been so clear to see. The staff are highly skilled, incredibly
careful, warm and supportive. We are grateful for their care and couldn't recommend the whole team highly enough.

Victoria Park Kindergarten has been a great, safe space for my little one to settle into the two years that he has attended now, he absolutely loves it and the staff are amazing from the minute you enter the building and are greeted by the receptionist and the room staff for the children. The activities
they do with the children are amazing and I have noticed an amazing improvement in my child since attending this nursery. I understand how daunting it can be selecting a nursery for your little one but hand on heart, I would recommend Victoria Park Kindergarten to any parent as it has been amazing for me and my child.

Annie Campbell has been a dedicated member of the Victoria Park Kindergarten team since 2010 and became the manager in September 2024. With a deep passion for Early Years Education, Annie takes an inspiring and nurturing approach to ensure every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Her extensive experience and local knowledge, built over 20 years working and living within the community, allow her to connect with families and provide exceptional care and guidance. As a mother of two grown daughters, both of whom attended the nursery, Annie brings a compassionate and empathetic understanding to the needs of both children and parents. Her commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment makes her an invaluable leader in the kindergarten.

Lauren McLeod

Lauren Joined the VPK team late last year.
With her she brings over 10 years experience in Early Years Education.
Lauren is very adventurous and energetic. She adores the great outdoors and is often found making rainy day dens behind the big tree at the Bowling Green, going on critter hunts in the nature walk or making mud pies in our secret garden.
