Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Solihull is part of an award-winning nursery group and is an Ofsted Good rated nursery (September 2023).

Their ethos and values are reflected in their staff and their practices to develop an exceptional environment for learning so that children will never cease to grow.

The facility has dedicated nursery spaces for different age ranges, including mobile and non-mobile babies. Each room reflects the seven areas of learning as prescribed in the early years foundation stage and is designed to be accessible to every child.

All children participate in weekly sessions of Kidslingo Spanish. Kidslingo is dedicated to teaching languages to young children in a fun and interactive way, using songs, dance, Makaton, games and drama to bring the language to life and inspire little learners.

The freshwater tropical aquarium is a key feature for the pre-school and toddler rooms which provides a relaxing and calming environment whilst also providing an enhanced learning experience.

That includes various activities that take place at the nursery such as extra-curricular sessions, trips, and experience days. Its all-inclusive!


    Our nursery is open 51 weeks of the year. We close for the Bank Holidays and the few days between Christmas and New Year.

My son has been attending for over 6 months. The staff have been fantastic with getting him settled in. My son has picked up many new skills and really enjoys all the different activities offered.
Staff are really helpful with any queries/concerns and have brought my son's confidence out. A good comprehensive
update is provided upon pick up. Staff are also really flexible when moving nursery days around, which is such a bonus for busy working parents. Would definitely recommend this nursery to family & friends!

A lovely homely nursery with caring staff that go the extra mile in caring for my child. The facilities and places have been invested in recently to make it a much more vibrant and child-friendly environment. Any queries or concerns are dealt with swiftly. My daughter has settled well into nursery. She was 8 months old when she started and I was a bit nervous due to her being so young.
She happily goes into nursery and has no problem waving goodbye to me as she goes to have breakfast. Meals are freshly cooked by the in-house chef which are varied and
nutritious. She has a good routine and staff ask questions if they are not sure about something. She enjoys the activities and has built positive relationships with the staff. Staff seem switched on and keen to support her development.

My daughter really enjoys her day at nursery. She used to be hesitant going in when she first started but now she really loves it, she walks in and greets the other children. When I go to pick her up she is always happy.
She has made really good relationships with the staff. She talks about her friends
and what she has played with. I Iove seeing her develop and learn new skills. I want to say a big thank you to all the staff.

We started our daughter in this nursery following a disappointing few months at an alternative nursery elsewhere. It was important to us that this time around, our daughter be happy attending and that we felt comfortable leaving her.
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery is super homely and intimate, which we
absolutely loved from the first show around. My daughter can be quite shy, and we found that here, she doesn't get lost in huge groups, which is lovely. Unlike her previous setting, she never cries when we arrive, is always met by staff who are happy to see her and is always very happy at collection time. In addition to this, her speech and confidence have come so far since starting at the nursery about a year ago.
To me, the main positive about the nursery is that any issues or concerns you might have are addressed immediately, and the staff will always try, and support you with any requests you might have.

Our daughter has been attending this nursery for coming up to 18 months. She’s very happy here, and the staff always have plenty to tell me about what she’s been up to during her day. She’s always excited to be going to nursery on her days there, and all the staff are very friendly, communicative and
clearly brilliant with the children. There has been a recent change in ownership, which is always a little worrying for parents; however, there have only been positive changes following this change.
I would highly recommend this nursery.

I only have positive things to say about the nursery, from the staff to the facilities. Even when things go wrong, there is a clear line of communication, which always makes my life easier! They always greet us with a great breakdown of the day and send through pictures via the app.

My name is Gaitri and I am the proud owner of Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Solihull. Being a mother to four young children, I am aware of how the first years of a child’s life lay the foundation for their future. Children need to read and write, but they also need to learn through play. A well-rounded education helps children make the most out of their physical abilities and develops important social skills.
