Offering reliable and flexible childcare options for families in the local area, the nursery caters for children aged from 6 months to 5 years old, with full-time and sessional day care options available. Every child enjoys hot meals, extracurricular activities, language and yoga lessons throughout the week. Creams, nappies, wipes etc. are all included.

My son has recently started going here, as a first-time mum you worry whether it's the right choice but I've seen such a difference in him. I'm very happy with how the staff communicate, it's always clean in both rooms.

Staff are very lovely and great communication and very approachable. My daughter always comes home hope. I love the extra things they do like visits to the park and outside companies they hire in. Overall a great experience so far.

The staff at The Gingerbread House Nursery have been wonderful from day 1. Our little boy started attending in January 2024 and it has been amazing to see him grow and flourish. Even as a premature baby, we have seen his development been well supported and cared for. The staff at The Gingerbread House
Nursery have assisted him every step of the way (literally!) by helping him hit those milestones and he continues to be more curious and inquisitive every day! The schedule of activities and meals they prepare are always varied and it's wonderful to see all his updates during the day, via the app with pictures and comments. Thank you Gingerbread House Nursery, you have made the transition for returning to work so much simpler!

My child has really strived from attending The Gingerbread House Nursery. His confidence levels have improved and he is learning to socialise with other children. A huge thank you especially to three staff members in particular for making me feel like my son is really cared about. We love receiving

The manager has been amazing! Nothing but helpful.
The staff overall seem good. My son only started last month, but has been very welcomed and he loves it.
I personally think staff could/should improve on tone of voice/language towards the children. I don't think any staff should be shouting at toddlers
but overall what I have seen they seem good.

A fantastic setting, very friendly staff who really care and take the time to get to know your child. All the staff at The Gingerbread House Nursery are lovely, they have taken the time to get to know my son and what he likes/dislikes. They understand his personality and always have time to give him
a “hug” if he needs one in the morning or sing songs with him so he can show off his moves! I regularly get updates showing how happy he is through the day playing with a mixtures of resources (both indoors and outdoors) which I love to see. He also goes to the staff for cuddles and looks to them for reassurance which shows the trust and connections they have formed with him. I honestly thought it was going to be the hardest thing ever settling him into a nursery but it’s actually the best thing I’ve ever done. Thank you so so much for all the love and support you all offer to my little boy, it means the world to me that he is in such a wonderful environment every day whilst I’m at work.

My daughter has attended the setting for just over 1 month and so far we have had a great experience. The staff are really friendly and the baby suite has been set up to meet the needs of the younger children. They seem to be doing very well here.

I like that they always keep me in the loop about my child's development. They do athletics and musical mini-sessions every week. They are easy to communicate with and they are able to comfort my daughter when she feels emotional.
