All the rooms at Leafield House Nursery have been designed to provide a calm area to learn whilst the outdoors have been specifically designed to be inviting, challenging and to provide opportunities to promote physical development. Each play room has its own playground along with a large communal playground featuring forest school, outdoor classroom, nature reserve and so much more.

The nursery is a "breast feeding friendly" setting and provides a parent's room/breast feeding room, along with an activity room where local classes take place along with indoor PE and Yoga sessions. The setting provides extra curriculum activities to all play rooms, French sessions, Music sessions, Forest School session and Phonics session.

Leafield House takes pride in its team who are all qualified Nursery Practitioners or Qualified Teachers. They also provide a varied nutritional menu that is carefully designed and planned from the on site Chef to cater around all children's dietary requirements.

Funding & Fees Guide for Leafield House Nursery

  • Registration - £100 (this includes registration to the setting and secures your child's place. It also includes settling in sessions for your child this is non refundable).


    Full day - £87 (7:30-18:00).
    Morning session - £52 (7:30- 12:30).
    Afternoon session - £45 ( 13:00-18:00).
    The setting will be accepting the 15 and 30 hour FEEE offer for 3-4 year olds from the government to cover hours there are additional costs for the extra services we provide when using the FREE hours.


  • All fees are due on the 1st of each month, all fees are to be paid upfront of the childcare services by Bank transfer or Direct Debit.
    Unfortunately we do not offer term time only childcare.
    Priority is given to full time places and children with siblings already at the setting.
    A minimum of 4 sessions required per week ( 1 session is half a day).


  • Parking
  • The car park is located at the front of the setting you can access by the electric gates using the intercom.
    Please ensure that you park within the lines.
    Please do not park on Leafield Grange, as this blocks the access road for the local residents. Please notify Reception using the intercom if you are having difficulty parking and they will try to resolve the situation.

I have two children at Leafield House Nursery. My big boy (3 years old) was previously in two nurseries abroad. After the first day at Leafield, he told me, "I had a lot of fun". He still likes to go there. He likes the staff and the food (that is what he mostly talks about). I am really impressed by
the design of the rooms and the playground outside. It is clean and neat but there is everything the children can ask for.
My baby girl (1-year-old) went only to Leafield House and while the separation at the beginning was not easy, the team took care of her very well, so that shortly after she was exploring, starting to babble and enjoying herself.
I can‘t recommend Leafield House Nursery enough. I am so happy that I found this nursery for my little ones.

As a first-time mum leaving your baby at nursery is very daunting and scary. Leafield made the whole experience wonderful and exciting for me and my baby from initially showing us around, the settling-in days and starting nursery. All the staff are fantastic and so lovely. My baby loves them all and
I am settled knowing he is in great hands all day. The nursery is gorgeous and there are so many great facilities to help develop all the children. The food is also yummy, healthy and fresh every day. I would definitely recommend it to all parents.

We love the nursery! The staff are great and my son has settled in very well. The facilities are fab and in particular the outside play areas give the kids a lot to explore and enjoy. I would definitely recommend it to my friends!

As a parent, finding the perfect environment for your child's early education is a huge decision, and we couldn't be happier with our choice of Leafield House Nursery. From the moment we stepped through the doors, it was evident that this is not just a nursery but a nurturing haven for our little one's
growth.
Our son started on the 1st day when the nursery opened and he has loved every moment of it. He loves the space and we feel like he has already grown up so much. We were struggling with potty training and within only weeks of him being there he was fully trained.
The rooms are bright, really well equipped and so clean. The outdoor play areas are an extension of the delightful learning spaces for exploring which we loved! My son loves the garden and gets so excited when he sees it.
The staff are amazing, friendly and very attentive and cannot do enough for you!
The food is a 10 out of 10!
All round fabulous experience.

We couldn’t be happier with Leafield House. After relocating to the area, we were apprehensive about joining a new nursery, particularly a newly opened setting, however, our experience with Leafield has been excellent. The nursery manager and all staff members are professional and friendly. The activities
are well thought through and our son is engaged from the minute he walks through the door. They do a great job of keeping him busy! The nursery is beautiful inside and out. Overall a professional, premium set-up where the happiness of children is clearly the main focus.

We had to move our 18 month old son from his old nursery to Leafield House when his brother started school, so we had some trepidation in making the switch but the staff at Leafield House have been amazing in getting him settled in really quickly. He now enjoys going into nursery and always has no hesitation
in walking into the room, ready to start his day. He also eats well from a varied menu at nursery. There are always plenty of activities for the children to get involved in and it is very nice to see the crafts that the staff had made together with the children. Overall, we are very happy with the nursery and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality childcare.

Leafield House Nursery feels like an extension of your family, the staff are always warm, friendly, welcoming and really caring towards our son.
The facilities are brilliant with well-thought-out rooms and toys and our son especially likes the outdoor space with the slides and regular forest hunts.
Leafield
House also hosts external baby and toddler groups which our son loves attending too. The variety of activities daily is really great and we have some lovely mementos that he has brought home.
The food that the children are offered is delicious and cooked by an on-site chef who has been really accommodating after our son was diagnosed with a dairy allergy and potentially soya. He never seems to miss out and eats a wide variety of food.
Our son has been attending the nursery since they opened and absolutely loves it blowing kisses to the staff and wanting cuddles as soon as he walks in, barely remembering to wave bye as he wanders off to play.

After transferring my son from a different local nursery I can honestly say I am over the moon with how well it has gone.
The staff are professional, fantastic with the children and always have time for any concerns. The setting is like no other nursery I have seen and exceeds expectations. It’s clean,
welcoming and everything you would expect from a well-run organisation.
Communication is on point and I feel my child is safe and secure in the setting.

We are so pleased we chose to go with Leafield House Nursery. Our little boy has settled in really well and loves the team there. We have seen a huge development in his vocabulary and social skills since joining. He loves to be outside so the garden is his favourite place with all of the activities
they do outside.
We always feel well informed on what has happened in the day. The parent app is a great tool. We love getting little updates with stories about his progression. The team are very welcoming and always reassuring. I would highly recommend Leafield to anyone looking for a nursery.

Our son joined in September 2023 and we could not be more pleased with Leafield House, the facilities are stunning and all the staff are so friendly and smiley, the menu always sounds delicious and only wish we could have meals sent home too! All together it makes leaving our little one for the day
so much easier knowing he will be loved and cared for. I would (and do) happily recommend it to other parents.

Here at Leafield House Nursery, I’ve tried my very best to create the perfect place for this to all happen!


As a mum of 2 young children and with my business background I feel I really understand the balance that is needed to successfully run Leafield House.


I am so proud of the space we’ve created, with the wonderful indoors to the unbelievable outdoors…I feel we’ve covered every angle to make this an absolute dream for our children.

“My name is Nikol and I have worked within the education sector for over 20 years. I have worked in both the Private and local authority sectors allowing me to build up a vast range of knowledge and expertise. I have had a range of roles such as Nursery manager and Early Years Co-ordinator.


While leading my settings I have achieved two Outstanding grades from Ofsted!


I carried out my education in Leeds completing my Early years degree in 2014. I have since engaged in many different training programmes to enhance and develop my knowledge and skills in this sector!


I am passionate about Early years development and believe a solid Early years start is key to every child’s success. As a mum, I understand what parents expect from early years settings and strive to provide this and more!


I am hardworking and dedicated to leading by example! I expect my staff to deliver a high standard of care and education to our children and hope to create a community feel at Leafield House Nursery. We aim to support both our families and our children through their journey at Leafield House!


In my spare time, you will find me outdoors! I enjoy growing my own vegetables, art, family time and cooking!”
