S4YC @ Northwich provides a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment for all children with a home from home feeling. It is an inclusive setting providing equal opportunities for all children and families.

All staff are caring and dedicated and support children to thrive. The keyworker system enables the children and their parents to build strong relationships, making sure they feel confident that their children are left in the best hands. The curriculum is built around the EYFS covering all 7 areas providing the best start and foundation for your child’s development.

All staff are DBS checked, first aid trained and have a minimum of level 2 safeguarding knowledge. All staff are encouraged to upskill with continual training supporting their own professional development.

The setting promotes healthy eating with fresh snacks and homecooked meals made on site by the experienced nursery cook. They are able to cater for all dietary requirements and support with weaning/baby led weaning your child – menus and allergy information is available on the parent's information board in the nursery foyer.

Across all three rooms, all children are regularly observed and assessed, this information is shared with parents through reports and parents evenings.

The setting has an open door policy and there is always a member of the senior team to answer any questions you may have.

Absolutely amazing for the children to spend their day the staff will definitely keep them entertained and engaged in activities. My son absolutely loves going to nursery and it gives me peace of mind whilst I’m at work too.

My little one has been attending S4YC @ Northwich since 2022 and has various things they have needed support in and the staff have helped them so much to reach milestones, develop speech and so much more, I couldn't have asked for much more with the support we have received as a family. My daughter has been attending since April 2023 and we initially had a lot of separation anxiety however through the loving care and guidance of the team she absolutely loves going to nursery each week, telling me all the names of the staff and her friends on the way! My daughter has made it very clear
to us at home that her favourite person in the world is her key worker. Being a vegan with allergies, I was apprehensive about sending my daughter to daycare but can honestly say that the team go above and beyond with her food choices and she eats better at nursery than she does at home. It’s always nice too, to see the manager mixing with the children and knowing all their names, it goes to show what a lovely team they are!

I enrolled my daughter here in July 2023 and being a first time mum was worried about leaving her to go back to work, but thanks to the lovely, amazing and caring staff at S4YC @ Northwich, they made this transition for my daughter and me a breeze. My daughter loves going to nursery and I can’t believe
the development she has made since she started. I also love the fact they get to go out on little trips every now and again to the local parks or to go and feed the ducks etc. I can’t recommend this nursery enough, they do anything they can to accommodate your child’s needs and the staff are always so welcoming and friendly.

I can't rave about this nursery enough. My son has settled in so well and loves attending. He loves to tell me about all the staff and his little friends who he is going to see. They put on amazing stay and plays and other activities. They have gone above and beyond for the month of December and made
it really magical.

Since my daughter has been attending S4YC @ Northwich Nursery she’s absolutely thrived. She once was a child who never left my side at playgroups and was always too shy to play with other children however since starting in February 2023 till now she’s a completely different. I cannot thank all the staff
at S4YC @ Northwich Nursery enough for caring and providing support for my daughter. The facilities are amazing the meal plans for the children are excellent and overall it is an amazing nursery and I could not recommend it enough to all my friends and family. I have never once had a problem with anyone or anything! The manager and everyone at S4YC are the best team. I cannot wait for another year of my daughter exceeding expectations at nursery.

My son has attended here since he was 9 months old. I was extremely anxious about sending him to nursery at such a young age but the staff there are absolutely amazing. He has the best time there and he absolutely loves it. The staff are always so friendly and approachable and the bond they have with
the children but also the parents is just lovely. The fees are really reasonable to say you get everything included and the amount of activities, fun days and experiences they provide for the children it really is fabulous.

My son has been attending since he was 11 months old and is now 2.5 years old, and loves it here! The staff are lovely and supportive and follow the children’s routines, where possible. The nursery environment is fab, and there are lots of great resources to support learning and play. The outdoor space
isn’t the biggest, but it’s enough and again, has great resources! The nursery includes parents regularly in events, and staff keep us informed of how our son is getting on. Would highly (and have!) recommend S4YC @ Northwich.

My daughter has been attending nursery since she was just under a year old (now 3). She is so happy there, it feels like a second home to her. All of the staff are nurturing and supportive and they provide her with care, attention and positivity. She is greeted every morning by a friendly staff member
who makes her and me feel welcome and comfortable. The key workers are communicative and update us with any changes and relevant information. My daughter is always excited to tell me about her day when she comes home from nursery and I love to see photos of the exciting activities and experiences that the nursery provides for the children. I would recommend S4YC to anyone looking for a nursery in the area and I feel lucky to have found such a warm, wonderful and happy environment for my daughter.

This facility is by far the best! I have had 3 children all go to various different settings and couldn’t recommend this one enough! My youngest absolutely loves going and adores the staff, even ones that don’t work in his room. Outside of the setting if we see anyone out and about my boy will run to
them and give them a big cuddle! They build such a brilliant relationship with the children that just helps settle them and makes them feel so safe when going to nursery (my older 2 wish they went here).
Over the time of him being here, we have had a few complications, the management and staff are so helpful in every situation, they have listened to my problems and we have come up with resolutions quickly. They’re willing to change things around to suit the child’s needs. I could go on but by far one of the best nursery’s around!

Great Nursery. All the staff are lovely. I like that they treat you more like family rather than just a pay check like some bigger nurseries do. Daughter enjoys the nursery and looks forward to going to nursery on a daily basis. All staff have been supportive of every need of my child. My daughter has been enrolled at Northwich since she was 8 months old and is now 13 months. All the staff are very welcoming and so friendly. The nursery is always clean and there’s always fun themed activities going on. The staff are fantastic if I’m in need of advice (being a first time parent). There

Staff are amazing and caring. Management is great! I couldn't imagine her in any other nursery at all. Always looked after her like she is their own. Never less! Toddler's review: plenty of toys to play with and the chef is a great cook. Lots of snacks to go around. My child also likes the activities
they do, they can get messy and loud.

I now work alongside Amy in the SENDCO team and have done for over a year. I work across all the rooms, all year round but mainly Pre-school as a 1:1.
I live at home with my partner, two children, and two dogs called Rosie and Marley and a hamster called Gizmo.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and do things like have movie nights with all our favourite treats.

I live at home with my husband and my two children who are 5 and 11(they both came to this nursery), and our hamster called Nugget. I like to take my children to the park most evenings and some nights we have a movie night all together.

I worked at the nursery previously from 2011-2017, then came back again in 2018, after working at an out-of-school club.


I have four children altogether (step-mum to two), who I spend my time with when I'm not working, having fun days out and making the most of our time together before they get too big.


At nursery, my favourite thing to do is singing and dancing, or read a story with the children.

Hello, my name is Niamh, and I work all year round. I am here to provide love and support for your child whilst bringing a bit of fun and excitement to daily life at the nursery.

I am originally from Liverpool and moved to Cheshire thirteen years ago, so I know what it is like to be in a totally new setting. I live with my parents younger brother and my dog (miniature schnauzer).


When I moved to Cheshire, I joined my local girl guide group and moved all the way up to the young leader, which I did for two years, I love to learn new languages and I'm currently learning Japanese and German.
