Eversfield is an award-winning independent nursery and day school in Solihull for children aged 2¾ to 11 years.

Children in Kindergarten and Nursery have access to all the facilities on the school site and are cared for in a warm and welcoming dedicated purpose-built building with its own secure outdoor all-weather play area. The dedicated team, led by experienced teachers, deliver an engaging curriculum which feature independent learning experiences, creative play and structured activities. Specialist teaching such as singing, dance, PE, swimming and visits to the woodland area all form part of the lively and inspiring programme on offer.        

An award-winning contract catering team prepare lunch daily in the school’s modern well-equipped kitchen and the children in Kindergarten and Nursery eat lunch family-service style in the school Dining Room. The staff help children to a hot two-course meal featuring fresh, seasonal produce including vegetables and fruit.        

Children progress from Kindergarten to Nursery in the September following their 3rd birthday, and to Reception in the September following their 4th birthday.

The security, happiness and educational development is of paramount importance to the staff and subsequently the pastoral care and academic achievements is outstanding. Families who are interested in joining this warm-hearted school are invited to attend one of the Open Mornings or book an informal tour which are available throughout the year.

Our child has had a wonderful start to their education at Eversfield. The staff are approachable, supportive and professional. Our child loved attending such a caring and nurturing setting; where he had so many different learning experiences including a puppet workshop, cooking, nature walks and a trip
to a farm. The nursery was extremely effective in preparing him for nursery where he has continued to make good progress.

We had a wonderful experience with this nursery! When my triplet daughters started, they didn't know any English, but the teachers and staff were incredibly patient and supportive. Within just three months, they began speaking and communicating in English. The staff took great care of them, and my girls
were always excited to go to school every morning. The teachers were kind, helpful, and kept us informed whenever needed. We are so grateful for their dedication and highly recommend this nursery!

My son attended both the Kindergarten and Nursery at Eversfield, and it has been a fantastic experience for him. The environment is kind, friendly, and nurturing, with plenty of outdoor space and a beautiful nature area to explore. The structured and diverse curriculum kept him engaged, and he always
looked forward to attending.


The on-site facilities, including the swimming pool and gymnasium, ensure a safe and convenient setting. Educational trips further enriched his learning. Communication is excellent, with regular photo updates of activities. Staff are supportive and involved, and there are great links with the wider school.


Overall, I feel confident that my son has had the best possible start to his education. I highly recommend Eversfield Nursery for any parent looking for a safe, engaging, and well-rounded early years experience.

Eversfield has been wonderful for our family, I have an older child in the Preparatory School and my daughter is about to complete her time in Nursery and move into Reception. Having seen my daughter progress from Kindergarten through to Nursery, 2 full academic years, I can say that it has provided
something different to her at each stage of her development.


Both of my children experienced other day nurseries before coming to Eversfield and there really is no comparison, mainly due to the experienced and consistent team in the nursery. The staff are fantastic, warm and friendly, and incredibly experienced. It provides a supporting, engaging and nurturing environment and I really enjoy the great communication from the team, with regular updates and photos related to their learning and the fun that they are having each day.


I couldn't be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Eversfield Nursery.

Both of my daughters have attended the nursery at Eversfield and my younger daughter has attended the Kindergarten too. I cannot recommend Eversfield enough; the staff are amazing, they are so friendly and approachable. The facilities are excellent, with their own indoor swimming pool. Both my girls

My daughter has thrived at Eversfield. It truly provides an engaging and nurturing environment with many great facilities. Having seen my daughter progress from Kindergarten through to Reception here, I can see how far she has come along in terms of her educational development and as an individual.
This is primarily due to the strong foundations set by the Early Years team.
The staff are warm, friendly and have a wealth of experience. They really do get to know each child individually in order to help them develop; teaching independence, social skills and building their self-confidence.
There is a wide range of extra-curricular activities available alongside the after-school supervision. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed tennis and the Yoga Club. Learning is extended beyond the classroom through different ways such as the nature area, trips and workshops/visits from external agencies/individuals.
It has been wonderful to see my daughter flourish at Eversfield.

Eversfield Preparatory School Nursery has been fantastic for both of our children.
The focus is very much to nurture children while giving them a great head start on to reception.
Our children learnt phonics and numbers through fun, interactive conversations and play.
The outdoor areas include
space for football, climbing, role play and the school fields for sports day, picnics and running around, like little people should!
We always felt our children were very well cared for and we were regularly updated on their day-to-day through the school portal.
The children also get to join the main school for nativities, shows, summer and Christmas fairs.
Would highly recommend Eversfield Nursery.

My daughter started nursery in September 2022. She is always met with a warm, friendly and nurturing team. My daughter loves to go to school. Extracurricular activities such as yoga, drawing and languages, sequenced topics and the strategies used to bring books and experiences to life have really helped
encourage her reading and given her a wider understanding of the world. Her teacher will use fun games to consolidate her learning. The outdoor space, the indoor pool, and the gymnasium have really helped develop her physical skills and she really enjoys participating in sporting activities. The most important thing to me is that my child is treated as an individual and that she is in an environment that fosters a lifelong love for learning. I believe that teachers have a strong understanding of my daughter and will provide effective support when needed. The level of care she receives is outstanding and in times when she has been unsettled, she has always been reassured.

We are accepting applications for immediate and future admissions. Please call and speak to our Registrar who can share details of availability within our Kindergarten and Nursery setting. We welcome children into our Kindergarten from the term of their 3rd birthday. This could be entry in September, January or April and is subject to our entrance criteria. Our youngest children enter Kindergarten and advance to Nursery in the September following their 3rd birthday. All pupils who attend our Nursery are offered a place in our Reception class in the September following their 4th birthday, provided they have met the entry requirements outlined in our Admissions Policy.

Hannah Phillips BA (Hons), PGCE, NPQH

Job Title: EYFS (Lower School) Phase Leader and Deputy Head

Mrs Phillips joined Eversfield as Deputy Head in 2010 after 13 years as a Key Stage 2 class teacher, Head of English, and teacher of swimming and PE to Reception.


Mrs Phillips says: "The Early Years department at Eversfield is a very special place. Our team are well qualified, very knowledgeable and extremely caring. To us, a child’s first years in school are fundamental to their growth and development – academically, physically, mentally and socially.
