The brand new Stirchley nursery has had a full renovation both inside and outside, featuring a state of the art baby room and toddler/preschool room.

The team puts care and nurture at the heart of everything they do as well as the parent partnership through a specialist app to connect you to your child's day at nursery. From nappy changes and food eaten to regular observations that give you live updates on how your child is progressing against the EYFS framework. You can also see the fun they've been having each day through news feed posts with pictures.

Excellent nursery with brilliant staff. My son has settled in so well and the whole team is very caring. It is always lovely to see my son excited to go to nursery every day. The facilities are great and there are plenty of resources.

Little Adventures Nursery is great for kids. From day 1, when I got there, my child was showered with love. The staff are amazing with my child and she loves being there the building is very clean and safe. They keep me updated throughout the day with how my child eats and sleeps and what she's been
up to. Overall it's a great place for your child to be.

This is an absolutely amazing nursery. My grandson has only been going a short while and the change in his development and confidence is unbelievable. All the equipment is brand new and set out beautifully grabbing a child's attention instantly. The staff are very friendly and so helpful. I would definitely
recommend this nursery speaking not only as a nan but as a practitioner as well.

So delighted we chose this nursery for our two children - including moving our eldest from another nursery. The staff are wonderful and so in tune with the children, the resources are second to none and they do so many varied activities - raising butterflies, cooking every week, crafts and painting
and even fantastic activities to do at home with your children. We have looked around so many nurseries after having concerns at our previous nursery that there wasn't sufficient oversight of the children and my eldest seemed to be bored and we hardly ever received updates or observations. This is the complete opposite, the staff are so attentive, helped no doubt by the smaller number of children currently, but the attention to detail in all they do is really excellent. The app is also amazing, so many photos every day of what they have been up to and even what meals they are eating. Highly recommend them!

Little Adventures Nursery is a wonderful early learning setting for our 9-month-old. He has been attending for just over a month now and absolutely loves being there. He has bonded with the staff so easy who are fantastic, keeping us updated via the app throughout the day, including nap times and what
has been eaten. The facilities are amazing and always clean and tidy (at the start of the day) with every room and the garden being magical and full of fun for our little adventurer!

Since day one our child has loved going to this nursery. Clean, spacious and friendly staff completely put you at ease as soon as you walk through the door. Security is a top priority too with each dividing door being keypad locked. The daily updates and messages via the app put your mind at ease when
you're at work. All in all a great nursery and so glad we chose this place!

My little boy started little adventurers this month and he has settled so quickly with the help of the amazing staff. The staff have been amazing during settles and his days at nursery. The nursery has an amazing range of resources for him to explore and his confidence has grown in such a short amount
of time. As a parent, this has given me the reassurance I've needed knowing my little boy is happy and thriving. Highly recommend the nursery as the service and care for the children are outstanding.

Jay

Jay Sparkle

Job Title: Head of Projects

Joined: 2021

Hi, I’m Jay. I joined Little Adventures Nurseries in November 2021 originally as Nursery Development Manager. I am now Head of Projects.


I have been working in the Early Years sector since 2009. During this time, I have held various positions from Nursery Nurse to Head of Operations overseeing several nurseries. Before joining Little Adventures I was a manager of a 129-place nursery. I feel extremely fortunate to work in the Early Years as I know how important these years are for children. I completed my BA (Hons) in Early Years Education in 2017 and this has helped me further my own knowledge of how children learn and develop. I have a passion for ensuring that the teams are trained to a high standard to deliver the best quality care. I have a son of my own so understand how important it is to ensure that you choose the right setting for your children.


In my free time, I like nothing more than exploring with my little family and our collie. We absolutely love baking together, especially the tasting part.

Angelene Mccormack

My name is Angelene and I have over 25 years’ experience working within the Early Years Sector. My main experience has been within Nursery settings where I have run busy, Baby Toddler and Pre-Schools rooms. For the past 14 years, I have had Leadership and Management roles including managing a 100 place Ofsted Outstanding Nursery. My experience has enabled me to support, mentor and train staff. I have worked for Little Adventures Nurseries since June 2022. My role is to develop staff training, this is implemented through e-learning modules, company-wide inset days, in-house training for individual settings and specialist training days at our designated Training Hub. I have also obtained my First Aid Instructor qualification so I can ensure all our staff are paediatric first aid trained and confident to administer first aid. My role also includes visiting each nursery at least bi-annually to complete Quality Audits against our company policies and values as well as the Ofsted Grade Descriptors. This part of my role is invaluable face-to-face training to our teams as well as giving quality assurance to our families that our nurseries are sustaining the highest quality of care and standards.
