Cwtch Childcare – Pentrebaen has been based in the community of Fairwater and Pentrebane for over 30 years and relocated to a new setting in 2017. The Pentrean setting is purpose-built and surrounded by open space in the grounds of Ysgol Coed Y Gof which opened in 2017.

The setting meets all the requirements of a modern childcare setting and has an amazingly home-from-home feel with generous outdoor gardens and woodland area. The team cater for all childcare needs, no matter what the ability and all genders are welcome to attend the setting.

Children lead independent exploration, play and learning, with access to a natural, curiosity-inspired one-level building and free-flow access to outdoor garden areas. Children also benefit from access to the settings woodland area, woodwork workshop and to the local countryside.

I can't recommend this daycare enough. My daughter has been attending since the age of 2 and she has thrived so much since then not only in her learning skills but her Welsh also. You are always so on top of things and always go above and beyond. The communication is brilliant and I am always informed
of my daughters day to day whilst there. The food you supply is also brilliant. I can't thank you enough for all that you do!

We love Gofal Plant Cwtch Childcare, my daughter has been going since age 2. She started at Cwtch and now she attends afterschool club. She loves all the aunties and makes new friends. It's hard to get her to leave! My son also attends baby Cwtch, he loves going and I feel so at ease as a mother knowing
he's cared for and loved by the staff. I always recommend Cwtch, they try and help and make my life so much easier knowing my children are happy and content.

My child enjoys it so much, she loves going and playing with all the children and she tells me about all the different activities she does. She always says how friendly the staff are and they are always very friendly when I or Dad come to pick up.

My little girl (2 years old) currently attends Gofal Plant Cwtch Childcare and loves coming, she loves the garden area and home corner, they are her favourites, from amazing updates and pictures from the app. The food is great and options cater for all. All four of my children attended Cwtch and before
it was renamed. Handing my children over in confidence that they are greatly looked after makes me feel at ease.

My children love going to Gofal Plant Cwtch. They enjoy all the activities and always come home and talk about what they have done. The management and staff are always supportive and they update daily on the app about my children's day. I highly recommend this nursery.

My little boy started at Fairwater Cwtch and then moved up to Penrebane Cwtch when he turned 2! My son absolutely loves Cwtch, even on a Saturday he's asking to go to nursery! He is well looked after and fed. Wouldn't have one bad word to say about Cwtch, I'm so happy to have my little boy there. Thank

Superb all day, every day. Both my children have been coming to Cwtch for several years now. And I wouldn't change a thing. The staff are amazing, friendly and I feel they love my children. I envy their energy.
