Our Head of School, Angela Ang, joins Odyssey UK with over nine years of high-quality early years experience. Angela has spent the last three years working for Odyssey Singapore as a Curriculum Mentor where she says her motivation is ‘witnessing children grow’.
With a Master’s degree in Education in Early Childhood and a Diploma in Kindergarten Education Teaching, Angela has worked collaboratively with colleagues and parents to provide the best start for children and is passionate about ‘making a difference to children’s lives’. In addition, Angela has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and is proficient in English and conversational Mandarin.
Angela said: “A smile on a child’s face puts a smile on mine! I enjoy being around them and creating opportunities for them to learn. Witnessing their growth warms my heart and motivates me to keep doing what I am doing.”
Job Title: Lead Curriculum Specialist

Meet Yeo, our Lead Curriculum Specialist. Yeo will play a pivotal role in curriculum planning and bringing enriching experiences to the classroom. Yeo has spent the last seven years at Odyssey Singapore and says it’s ‘truly a special place to be’.
Fluent in English and conversational Mandarin, Yeo has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. Her ambition is to create opportunities to nurture confident learners and help them unlock the incredible potential within themselves – and she can’t wait to bring her expertise to the UK.
Yeo describes herself as having an ‘active and energetic’ nature and enjoys embracing new challenges. A team player at heart, Yeo enjoys fostering strong partnerships with parents and colleagues to build a strong community.

Caroline, our Curriculum Specialist, brings over seven years of childcare experience to Odyssey UK.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and currently developing her career with a Certification in Infant Care, Caroline has worked with children aged eight months to six years and has cultivated positive relationships with families to support children’s development.
Caroline says: “What I love most about Odyssey is the flexibility of the curriculum, which allows teachers to tailor lessons to each child’s needs and interests. I’m especially passionate about the focus on learning beyond the classroom, encouraging exploration through outdoor play, nature walks, field trips, and hands-on activities.”

With a childcare career spanning 15 years, Lauraine joins Odyssey UK with a roster of qualifications including a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood, and a Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education. Lauraine is also first aid trained.
Lauraine’s previous experience as a preschool educator has provided her with valuable experience of working with children from diverse backgrounds and developmental stages, allowing her to understand the unique needs of each child.
Her career highlight has been seeing children transition from hesitant learners to confident curious individuals. She says it’s incredibly rewarding knowing that her work can make a ‘lasting impact on their lives, providing them with the confidence and foundation for a bright future’.

Allison joins Odyssey UK with over ten years’ experience as a People and Culture professional, dedicating herself to supporting individuals in people-centric roles.
For the last five years, Allison has moved from Operations Manager to the Head of People and Culture, for a large early childhood education group with over 1600 staff. Her role has been instrumental in ensuring that children have an outstanding early years’ experience, for the best start in life.

As the global Director of Odyssey, Kelly led a team of educators to pioneer the first Odyssey campus in 2008. Driven by a strong passion in curriculum design, research and innovation, she is a strong advocate of the Reggio Emilia curricula that recognises children as competent and active learners.
Kelly has over 20 years of experience in the early childhood industry and holds a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College, Boston.
