At Finborough School, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow at their own pace. The passionate and highly qualified staff, all Early Years specialists, work closely with each child to foster their development using a unique blend of Montessori principles, Early Learning Goals, and Learnability. This approach ensures that children feel confident to explore and make mistakes. With a strong home-school partnership, parents are involved through the Tapestry online platform, which captures each child's milestones. Children benefit from beautiful indoor and outdoor learning spaces, including a dedicated Forest Schools programme that encourages social, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Finborough accepts children from ages 6 months to 5 and offers the 30-hour government scheme. Visitors are always welcome to explore the Early Years setting.
