Nursery Chef

• Carrying out shopping activities in line with pre planned menu’s which change weekly.
• Preparing two choices of nutritious, healthy well-presented meals for the children in the nursery
• Ensure that the highest standards of food quality, safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Ensure excellent records of items purchased and cooked, cleaning and temperature checks are maintained

You will be physically fit and capable to carrying out shopping duties and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area. You will hold the Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and have at least one year’s experience in a similar role or with similar responsibilities.

You will be able to demonstrate competent food preparation skills and be capable of managing the kitchen. You will be professional in both approach and appearance and have excellent communication skills. Applicants must be passionate about preparing good quality meals which meets the childrens needs.
