Duties

  • Create and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children.
  • Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education.
  • Manage daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and sleep times.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to build strong relationships.
  • Understand and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework.
  • Drive initiatives that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Early Childhood Education principles and practices.
  • Experience in childcare settings or nurseries is needed
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage groups of children effectively while promoting positive behaviour.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Ability to comply with all policies and legislation provided.
  • Must have a Level 3 or higher in Childcare.
